NATIONAL MENTAL HEALTH DAY
2 days ago, where I live, it was National Mental Health Day.
I believe every day should be mental health day. Every day should be suicide awareness day. Every day should be equality and justice day.
Mental Health is something that's incredibly serious.
Major depression is thought to be the second leading cause of death worldwide.
It's important that you know that there are so many organisations out there to make you realise that you are not alone. And there are so many people that care.
I was once in a time that I thought I actually suffered from depression. But I did research and realised Depression is so much more than feeling really down for day. I was just in a minor depressive state and when I talked about it I was ok instantly.
That's another thing- talking through what is hurting you can heal massively. So please talk about it.
It's time to remove this stigma around mental health and to raise more awareness about it.
