The train moved and after a while, I saw the fog covering the land, I exclaimed, "God!! This is not possible." Jeevan stood near me, and replies, "This is natural, the forest here is quite dense." I smiled, and remarked, "That's perfect. I guess I'm overthinking. Thanks, buddy, you are an environmentalist, so you know better than me." Jeevan laughed, and said, "That's not the case." We laughed, and later. We sat on the bench. After a while, Jeevan turned serious, I could see his face turned grave, and he uttered in grave voice, "There is a station which is believed to be haunted." I twisted my lips, and replied, "I heard about the station, I had been through that station but never faced something uncanny, but still, I saw the light blinking at that station." Jeevan uttered the story.

Once the railway authorities decided to build a station, as there was a highway nearby. There were a few empty lands near the track, so they decided to build the station five years ago. When the work began, the workers saw few witches conducting unholy rituals among the forests. The witches use to harass the workers, and in few cases some of the workers were slain. Due to which the police were called, and the work was in full swing. The station was almost completed. Then one night, the witches rushed to attack the workers, but during that time, a high-speed train was passed by, and those witches came under the metal wheels of the train. Their bodies were chopped by the train, the workers were saved. Later that station was left unfinished, as the people feared to go there. Few railway staff visit that station occasionally but during the day.

After Jeevan finished his story, there was silence in the brake van, apart from the sound of the train. The police constables too informed that the station is haunted. As we were skipping stations, I knew that haunted station would be approaching in some time, but there was no need to worry as we would never stop there.

I never knew this would change the entire course of my perception.
