"Okay so am I picking you up or is Emery bringing you home," Dean asks as I exit out of the car.

"Emery's taking me home today," I reply shutting the car door.

"Okay have fun love ya,"

"Love you," I wave as he drives away blasting eye of the tiger.

I chuckle and meet up with Emery in the school commons.

"Finally winter break is about to begin," she smiles locking her arms with mine.

"You're still coming over for Christmas right," I ask as we start walking down the hallway to 1st period.

"I wish you would come to mine but my family is insane so I'll come to your place," we laugh turning down another hallway.

I get a little shocking feeling from inside of me. I clear my throat shaking it off focusing back on Emery.

"Get out of here loser," I see Tiffany push a young girl on the ground.

Tiffany's boyfriend, Thomas, comes beside her laughing at the girl on the ground. Anger boils in me when Tiffany pours coffee on the girl.

"Scarlett don't," Emery grabs my wrist shaking her head.

I yank my arm away walking towards the little group. I kneel down helping the girl up smiling at her.

"Look who it is Scarlett Whorechester," Tiffany laughs along with her minions.

"Hey baby I hear it's easy to get inside them pants," a football player yells out.

I keep walking away with the girl by my side putting my arm around her.

"Don't mess with her she's filled with daddy issues and dead mom problems," I hear Tiffany snicker which makes me stop in the middle of the hallway.

I turn around slowly my anger begging to get out of me. Emery takes a hold of the girl trying to calm me but the laughs of everyone fills my ears. I tighten my fist suddenly a loud crack of thunder interrupting their laughs.

"Why is her eyes red," I hear a girl whisper to another student.

Tiffany's smile goes away and she looks at me with pure fear. I raise my hands the kids all flying back. I walk forward towards Tiffany and her crew. She crawls away whimpering trying to find a way to escape.

The roof of the school rips off from the wind that is blowing outside. I motion my hands in a splitting way which causes the ground to open up. Fire blazes out of the cracks, students starting to scream.

"Make them pay," a voice fills my ears as I raise Tiffany up from the ground.

Suddenly bodies start to rise from the ground grabbing a hold of students just like the ones in my vision.

"Scarlett stop," Emery screams holding onto the girl from earlier.

A body grabs ahold of Tiffany starting to drag her down. Tiffany screams begging me for mercy pleading with me. She locks eyes with me and I'm standing in her living room.

Her dad throws a beer bottle at her mom, her brother tries to help but her dad beats him to the ground. I see Tiffany beg her dad before hitting her too.

I snap out of it shaking my head from that vision. I lower my hands everything becoming calm. The bodies go back in the fire, the ground closing up. I take deep breaths looking around at students who look at me scared out of their minds.

Tiffany falls to her knees crying. I take a step back running out of the school. Outside, the roads are split open with trees in the middle of the road.

"Scarlett," Emery yells running after me.

"Don't touch me," I back away from her holding my arms out.

"Scar it's okay you're going to be okay," she steps closer to me.

"I don't know what's happening," I put my hands on my head starting to cry.

"It's okay we'll figure it out together," she grabs my arms nodding at me.

I take a deep breath nodding back.

"Come on let's get you home," Emery takes out her keys as we run to her car.

She starts up the car driving away avoiding the cracks in the road. I look back as we drive away from school where my new beginning has officially begun.
