A long tear rolled down his cheeks, his heart felt heavy. Akshara had taken a decision already.

Abhimanyu : How can I let you go chatterbox, you're my choti sherni . My life is incomplete without you, nothing feels the same when you are not here. When you had left college it felt so odd and then when you left the country itself..it felt like everything was different and nothing felt the same, a part of me had gone with you but then when you came back I felt as if I was able to breath Again...I was confused to what I was feeling for you and then I realised myself that love is what I feel for you...not what I had felt for Tanya ...how will I stay without you?  he said looking at the divorce paper as he sat down against the wardrobe.

Abhimanyu  closed his eyes as he recalled his time with Akshara,  from the past till now... for how his happiness she left him so that he relation with Tanya  doesn't get spoilt....how she sacrificed her love for him so that he can be happy with the person who he thought he loved.

Abhimanyu : I got my answer chatterbox. When you can sacrifice your happiness and love for me in the past then I can also do that for you . To hell with Sahil's challenge..I want you to stay willingly with me Akshu  and if Sahil is the person you choose then so be it, no matter how much me and sahil don't get along.
Your love was unconditional and so will mine be. Abhimanyu  will still love his Akshara  unconditionally and live with the memories he made with her be it old or new. He said smiling painfully as he looked at their picture. His eyes all welled up

Abhimanyu  slowly got up and walked towards his desk and looked at the frame that had him and Akshara  smiling crazily...a small chuckle left his lips while his eyes welled up slowly as he caressed the photo looking at Akshara's smiling face, placing it down after few minutes and sat down on the chair.

Taking a pen and paper he looked at it blankly and then back at the frame. With few deep breath he started writing.

After some.time he looked at the piece of paper  scanning what he wrote for Akshara, getting up  he walked towards the wardrobe picking up the divorce paper which he had left on the floor and looked at Akshara's signature.
Signing it he placed the divorce paper in the drawer and left the letter on the desk

Abhimanyu  packed some clothes and grabbed his phone as he headed down to see only Manjari in the living room while Mahima had left to go and see a neighbour nearby. Manjari looked ahead and  was surprised to see him with a small suitcase

Manjari : Abhi, beta what's this? Where are you going with this small suitcase?

Abhimanyu : I am going out of city to handle a case mom. it was all suddenly that I wasn't able to inform you all he said lieing

Manjari: Why suddenly? Your dad didn't even inform me regarding this as usually he makes sure to let me know so that I can make some snacks for you to eat. Wait let me call and ask him how can he forget to tell me she said about to call Harshvardan but Abhi stopped her.

Abhimanyu: Maa chill, dad or tauji didn't know infact nobody at hospital know as I personally got a call sometime ago from one of the doctors who I have associated personally with before so without thibking I straight away said yes and thought I might as well inform the rest after.

Manjari : ok that is fine. If you received the  call recently then there is no issue on stretching on the matter. It's good I made some snacks today. I'll pack that for you. Is anyone else going with you?

Abhimanyu : nahi ma it's just me.

Manjari : Ok that's fine but did you inform Akshu ?

Abhimanyu  gulped

Abhimanyu : I'll call her once I reach there he said.

Manjari told him to wait and ran to get some snacks. She then gave it to Abhimanyu  who hugged her and told her to take care.

1 hour later

Akshara  and Sahil reached to Birla mansion. Getting out of the car she headed in with sahil and heard Manjari voice coming from the kitchen.

Akshara : Maa she  called out as she headed in the kitchen to see Manjari arguing with the cook.

Akshara : maa. Sahil will be staying for dinner.

Manjari : ok beta she said about to get back to arguing with the cook when sahil spokeM

Sahil: aunty where is Abhimanyu 

Manjari : beta woh...before Manjari could continue Akshara  interrupted.

Akshara : He must be in the study room or upstairs come let's see she said heading out followed by sahil.

Manjari : Beta he has gone out of city she said  loudly but at that time the pressure cooker whistle went off making them not hear what she said.

They checked the study room to see it empty and headed up.

As they entered the bedroom they found it empty.

Akshara  walked towards the washroom door to see it open whereas sahil checked the balcony.

Akshara : Where is Abhimanyu ? I thought he would be home by now.

Sahil: Why dont you try calling him?

Akshara  nodded when she noticed something on the table with her name written on it.

Akshara : Why is my name on this paper she said in a low voice which sahil headd

Sahil: Did Abhimanyu  leave that for you?

Akshara  turned to look at sahil and then towards the desk moving her hand forward she grabbed the letter

Akshara looked at the letter that Abhimanyu  left for her

She placed the flowers and gift that sahil had got for her and sat down.

As she opened the letter she didnt know why but her heart was beating fast.

so I have signed the divorce paper that was in your cupboard.

Sahil: Akshara  he called out as he placed a hand on her shoulder who was still..

Akshara  looked at the letter as a tear  rolled down her cheeks...sahil took the letter from her and started to read it whereas Akshara   slowly opened the drawer taking out the divorce paper to see Abhimanyu 's sign but also her sign.

She then walked towards the wardrobes to see few of Abhimanyu 's  clothes missing and a empty space on the bottom where he would keep his small suitcase.

Akshara : Did he leave? Did he do the same thing by doing what I did years back???...did he??? She said looking into space while Sahil looked at her after finishing reading the letter.

Sahil: Akshara... he said walking towards her who looked at him.

Akshara : He loves me sahil Abhi  loves me and yet he had no slightest idea that I HEARD his confession last night and his  gesture this morning.

Sahil hugged Akshara  as she cried.

Akshara : I'm...im going to call him she said searching for her phone to see it kept near the gifts and grabbed it dialling Abhimanyu 's number which kept going to voicemail.

Akshara  kept on trying while Sahil watched Akshara  who was trying to stop herself from breaking down. Suddenly Manjari walked in with two glass of juice which he took from her

Manjari : sahil Beta drink think juice and you too Akshu  she said turning to Akshara  to see her walking back and forth while on the phone

Sahil: Aunty do you know where Abhimanyu  is ? Akshara  turned towards them as she heard Abhimanyu's name.

Manjari : Haan he said he had to go out of town for some case as he got to know all of a sudden and that too personally from a doctor from a different hospital and mentioned he would inform Akshara later on. i tried to tell you but the pressure cooker whistle came  between my voice she said jokingly and excused herself from there.

Sahil: I dont think Abhimanyu  went on the pretext of work Akshara.

Akshara : Maybe.  But how do we figure out where he is as the calls are going straight.to voicemail.

Both thought for a second when they realised

Akshara /sahil: Gang they both said in one go.

I may be older than you 3 but the way you guys made me feel better is something I can never forget.
