Abhimanyu slowly moved closer and closer until there was no gap between them, their eyes feeling each others lips.. His warm breath caressing her face. They stayed like that for few secs when Abhimanyu slowly pressed his lips onto hers, It was soft and demanding.. Akshara  was baffled at first, she felt like she couldn't breath.. His cologne was strong and intoxicating but what really drugged her was just the smell of him, his natural smell, a mixture of soap, hair gel and peppermint.. A sudden overwhelming urge came over her to want to kiss him back, she closed her eyes and joined him following the rhythm..
 
Her lips felt softer against his..They were so soft and feathery, softer than petals.. He felt like his chest had been set on fire. He placed his hand on her cheeks and deepend the kiss. His tongue gently rubbed on her bottom lips. She tasted like the chocolate ice-cream they had yesterday... Abhimanyu pushed further into the kiss, pressing her lips little forcibly to try and gain access in her mouth but akshara  didn't let him.. Abhimanyu hands caressed her jawline and bit on her bottom lips lightly making her part her lips slightly and gained entrance in her mouth.. He started sucking on her tongue slowly tasting her while akshara  slowly reciprocating his touch..Akshara  moved her hands around his neck and then slowly moved her hands behind the back of his head playing with his soft hair from the end... Abhimanyu captured her lips again kissing her lower lips as if massaging it..It felt wonderful and amazing, but that was when he realised what he was doing. that to with Akshara ??.. His eyes snapped open..
 
Akshara  opened her eyes as she didnt feel any movement..
 
As they looked at each other Abhimanyu jerked akshara  away..
 
Both were trying to say something but no words were forming looking here and there and sometimes at each other
 
Akshara  got up and quickly ran to the washroom closing the door
 
Akshara : omg what just happened she thought remembering their position and pushed her hair back with one hand on her hip

After sometime

Akshara  got ready in 15 mins however she was thinking as to how to go out and face Abhimanyu  after whatever happened..
 
She opened the door and came out seen Abhimanyu  getting his clothes out...she looked away walking to the dressing table while Abhimanyu  turned slightly to look at her and quickly got into the washroom.
 
Akshara  decided to do her hair and  leave the room before Abhimanyu  comes out
 
When he came out after having a shower he saw akshara  wasnt in the room and was a little  less nervous.
 
Once getting ready he went down and saw manjari  and akshara  setting the dining table up for breakfast..abhira  actually avoided looking at each other
 
After all had breakfast Abhimanyu  left to go to the hospital  while akshara  was sitting in her room since manjari  and mahima had gone out 
 
At the hospital  Abhimanyu  was alone in the cabin since vidyut  was doing a surgery while the rest were busy checking their patients 
 Whereas  at the Birla mansion  akshara  was sitting on the bed
 
Akshara  was getting flashes of whatever happened yesterday and then recalled this morning incident
 
While Abhimanyu  was also not able to concentrate on a files remembering how he saw akshara  at the club.. then the way he reacted seen that guy dance with akshara   and  recalling certain things that happened yesterday and then whatever happened this morning 
 
Abhimanyu  was only thinking about how he woke up finding akshara  next to him and then the kiss they shared
 
He closed his file straight away and rubbed his forehead
 
Abhimanyu :how could I even think of doing that too akshu , she is my best friend... how on earth did I kiss her like that.. I can never think of kissing her or even look at her in that way... God know what was going in my mind that I actually kissed her... this is wrong... plus I dont even know what akshu  will even think about me.. I love tanya right?... I mean even if she is no more I still do na. that's y I never moved on right? Yes yes that the only reason...plus akshara  is my best friend I mean I even stopped that guy from dancing with her because it wasn't safe as she was just dancing with any random person and besties do dance together right? so it means I didn't do anything wrong by dancing with her . .... he took a long deep breath and continued to say...enough abhimanyu  enough since morning u r thinking about this..
 
He took another  deep breath and leaned back on his chair to imagine tanya face.. but instead he imagines akshara  face,her smile, her laugh, those luscious lips of hers, her soft long hair, the way her skin feels soft..her big innocent eyes which stands out whenever she applies kajal... how she would wear her mangulstrs and sidhoor in the morning.... he tried to imagine tanya  but all he would see is akshara  and her features... his mind again made him think about the kiss incident and quickly opened his eyes .. he got up and threw a paper weight on the floor
 
Abhimanyu :this isnt right.... I'm thinking about all this to much because of our closeness... nothing else..this can never happen again.. yes it wont happen because we wont allow it to happen again ... he was saying this  as somewhere he wasnt convinced yet was trying to convince himself
 
Meanwhile at the Birla mansion akshara  was  sitting in the balcony lost in thoughts.. she didnt know what to do.. her mind went back to how she saw Abhimanyu  at the club and hugged him...the way they danced together and how she said she missed him ... their beach moment, their cute antique while walking into the mansion without getting caught...the way they were remembering funny moments during college days and how Abhimanyu  was playing with her hair storking it now and then.....how they slept together and then next morning found herself in Abhimanyu 's embrace and how he made her heart skip a beat as he claimed her lips 
 
Akshara  pushed her hair backward
 
Akshara :what do I do? Just thinking about this isn't going to bring a solution right?.. me and Abhimanyu  need to talk about this... let me call him she said picking up her phone and dialled his number
 
Abhimanyu  looked at his phone to see it flashing akshara  name
 
Abhimanyu :I'm sorry akshara  but I seriously cant talk to u right now he said and put it on silent mode.
 
Akshara  heard the voice message after few rings.. she tried few more times but he didnt answer
 
Akshara :gosh abhimanyu  y r u not answering...maybe be might be busy attending a patient she told herself... she rubbed the back of her neck and thought she will wait till he comes back home
 
Time went like this for abhira .. the more they tried to avoid this incident the more it would make them think about it
 
Around 7pm abhimanyu  came back home.
 
Manjari : abhi freshen up and then come down for dinner
 
Abhimanyu :ok ma
 
Manjari :aur haan tell akshu  to come down too... Abhimanyu  closed his eyes and slowly nodded.
 
As he reached to the room he saw akshara  folding her clothes... akshara  saw Abhimanyu  walk in and as she was about to call him he went into the washroom to change 
 
Akshara  waited for him to come out and as he did she spoke
 
Akshara :Abhi  we need to talk she said blocking his way
 
Abhimanyu :akshu  not now...he said frustrated with his own feeling between mind and heart
 
Akshara :no... now is the time.. we have been avoiding it since morning and it's doing nothing but making things awkward.
 
Abhimanyu : alshu...ma is calling us let's...but he got interrupted by akshara  
 
Akshara : Abhi  this morning ... u and I.. i mean u and me.. we.. we shared a moment.. a moment which was unplanned and...but Abhimanyu  interrupted her
 
Abhimanyu :akshu...yaar I'm sorry...I really am... but I just dont know what happened.. I mean I wasnt in a state to think...akshara  frowned looking at Abhimanyu  
 
Akshara :what do u mean Abhi ?.. u was sober and so was I.....like...Abhimanyu  this couldnt have happened like that.. we were not tipsy that time... something was there which made us kiss... I agree whatever we did yesterday was thanks to all those alcohol but this morning it was all flushed out of our system so then how can u say that u wasnt in a state to even think
 
Abhimanyu :  .u r right...we were sober... but.. how do I tell u... ok look Akshara  ...u know I never looked at a girl in that way after tanya right.. and right now I can never give u that place as it was for tanya only... try to understand... we r best friends .. yesterday we were tipsy and due to that we got a little closer yesterday and this morning the kiss was a mistake which shouldnt have happened but  it did...due to our proximity we got lost.. I can never think of u and look at u in that way.. this happened today but I promise it wont happen again ...as I said I can never look at u in  that way and never will as u r my bestie... akshara  whatever happened wasn't meant to happen and it was a mistake....he said in one go...

Abhimanyu  didnt mean to say all that in that way but somewhere it hurt akshara  very badly
 
Akshara  looked at Abhimanyu ... how could he even think she would think about taking tanyas place
 
Akshara :Abhimanyu...first of all I didnt say I wanted to take Tanya's  place and u should know that because if I wanted to do that then I would have done it in college itself   but I didnt.. Aur haan, koi kisiki jagha nahi lesakta hai Abhimanyu .. Log apne jagha khud banate hai..(and yh Nobody can take another person place abhimanyu .... they make their own place)..yeah you are right, It was a mistake.. It truly was.. I forgot my place.. Thanks for reminding  me once again.. Chinta mat karo, ye galti fir kabhi nahi hogi..(dont worry this mistake wont happen again ) I wont come in your way.. ok.. she said hurt by his words and left the room
 
Abhimanyu  frowned as akshara  said it was a mistake as somewhere it pained him but wasnt able to understand
 
Abhimanyu :haan it was a mistake ..but y didn't I like it when akshara  said that as if it hurt me when she was saying it was mistake. He thought and then shrugged the feeling away
 
Abhimanyu : urgh nothing is going right... akshara  I never meant to say it like that yaar... how do I explain to u that your place is different in my life and tanya place Is different he said to himself..   however he was yet to discover akshara  real place in his life... he was feeling bad saying all that to akshara  not knowing it wil Hurt her.
 
As he reached downstairs he saw akshara  sitting down with others for dinner... he came and sat next to her thinking she will look at him but she completely ignored him.
 
Abhimanyu :akshara  pass me some salad please he said looking at her.. akshara  picked up the salad bowl and as Abhimanyu  forwarded his hand to take it akshara  placed it near him on the table...luckily the family members didnt notice this 
 
Mahima:Arien haan we forgot to mention one thing.. yesterday when u all went out swarna ji had called us
 
Akshara :what did dadi say taiji
 
Manjari :that juhi and vidyut will get married at the goenka mansion
 
Abhimanyu :but y a sudden change I mean the venue was booked right
 
Mahima: haan but after there was some issues with the manager and mimi suggested that since their lawn is spacious ... juhi and vidyut will get married from the goenka mansion..so now the wedding will happen there.
 
Abhimanyu : that's great...right akshara  he said looking at her while she didnt respond back to him
 
Akshara :mimi did the right thing.
 
Mahima:absolutely and the haldi will be held there too
 
After dinner Abhimanyu  went to the bedroom while akshara  helped mahima and manjari  
 
When she came inside she saw Abhimanyu  looking at a file near his desk
 
She walked over to the bed and took a pillow while Abhimanyu  saw her do that and frowned
 
Abhimanyu :akshara  what r u doing? he asked  walking towards her while she laid on the couch and turned the other way not answering him
 
Abhimanyu :I'm speaking to u akshara .. u dont have to sleep on the couch come on get up and sleep on the bed
 
Akshara  closed her eye and ignored Abhimanyu  who was trying to speak to her and  still didnt turn to face him...while he stared at her back as she was facing the other way
 
Abhimanyu  looked at her for a min and then went to sleep on the bed... it had been 10 mins but sleep was far away from him.. he sat up on the bed and looked at where akshara  was sleeping.. he got up and started to walk  back and forth glancing at her now and then
 
Abhimanyu :akshara ? ..akshara  ? He called out.. akshara  was awake but had her eyes closed still facing the other way... Abhimanyu  thought she was actually sleeping and spoke
 
Abhimanyu : Akshara ....akshu, I am sorry.. Mai tumhe hurt nhi karna chahta tha (I didnt want to hurt u) .. It's all so messed up.. I am really sorry
 
Akshara  didnt move when he said that.. she was actually listening to him but deep down she was hurt
 
Akshara :( in mind)-  5 saal phele bhi tanya thi, aur aaj jab wo nahi hai, tab bhi humare bich mein tanya hai..aur hamesa rahien gi.. Main samajh gayi Abhi , tum kabhi bhi mujhse pyar nahi karoge.. aaj mai samjh gayi.. sab mistake hai tumhare liyen.. Don't worry.. aaj ke bad I will never hope or wish for ur love..never ever.. ( 5 years ago tanya was there..and now when she is no more...she still is between us.... and she will always be...i understood  abhimanyu  that u will never love me... today I understood that...its all a mistake for u.. dont worry. From today I will never hope or wish for your love ...never ever)  a long tear fell from her eye and wiped it silently.
 
Next morning... juhi  and vidyut  haldi was going to take place  at the goenka mansion as they wanted to combine their haldi together.
 
Akshara  wore yellow lengha and went down while Abhimanyu  got ready and came in yellow sherwani
 
The Birla family left to go to the goenka mansion .. abhira  left in one car while harshvardhan, anand , manjari  and mahima went in another car..followed by parth, nishtha and neil
 
Abhimanyu  looked at  akshara  now and then but she didnt look at him at all and was busy looking out the window.
 
As he tried to speak akshara  turned on the radio and increased the volume while Abhimanyu  was not happy with the way she was ignoring  him
 
Once they reached there akshara  hugged her family and then went to hug vidyut and ragini who already arrived
 
After 10 mins Juhi and her parents came to the goenka mansion and akshara  took juhi to the garden area where the haldi rasam was going to happen 
 
Juhi:what happened y do u seem low
 
Akshara :arien nothing just tired plus it's your haldi y will I feel low...juhi smiled.
 
Sirat bought the haldi and all in turna came to apply haldi on her.. first her parents did followed by mahima,manjari , harshvardhan and anand then followed by the goenka family  . Neil and arohi applied it in turns and .then  Abhimanyu  came and applied haldi on juhi while she applied it on his nose then followed by the birla and goenka siblings...akshara came last and applied haldi on juhi but then she smeared haldi on juhis face while all laughed
 
Juhi:akshuuuuu ....vidyut laughed seen akshara  do that and when juhi glared at him he stopped laughing
 
Akshara :what... Its my right to do this I wont even spare vidyut she said... juhi grabbed akshara  and pulled her closer rubbing some haldi on akshara 's cheeks
 
Akshara : not fair
 
Juhi:well u cant get away she said...akshara  got up to wipe her face
 
Abhimanyu  passed akshara  a tissue but she didnt take it and took another from the tissue box making abhimanyu feel disappointed
 
they then  applied haldi on vidyut who had a big smile on his face
 
Neil came and was rubbing vidyut cheeks with haldi for a good 2 mins
 
Neil:see if we rub haldi for few mins  the groom will glow even more  after all even grooms should look handsome he said while looking at juhi who rolled her eyes ... making   everyone chuckle
 
Akshara  came and applied haldi on vidyut rubbing it on his forehead and cheeks... after arohi  did and  pulled his cheeks and gave him a hug.
 
Abhimanyu  came and applied  the haldi and hugged vidyut while vidyut applied a little bit on his face ....kairav, vansh and parth came next to apply  haldi on vidyut poor guy couldnt escape as they applied so much  haldi on him and in return he made sure to apply some on their face
 
Sirat: u all r applying  it on each other as if its holi
 
Neil :correct that's what we r actually thinking
 
All laughed ...neil got up and applied it on the elders and akshara and ranveer  joined him followed by the rest...akshara  was about to apply haldi on Abhimanyu  but she backed away recalling their bedroom confrontation while the smile fell from his face seeing  her stop and take a step back

Phew here is the next chapter for unconditional love

Sorry for keeping you all waiting but due to summer it's too hot since I'm a winter person I dislike summer and my brain seems to stop working 😂
