Abhimanyu :but tell me one thing.. from a tomboy how did u change
 
Akshara: uff with time stupid... I mean to be honest even I dont know.. but as time started to pass my dressing sense changed slowly and I also had Keerti bua and naksh mamu with me too she said chuckling
 
Abhimanyu :we laughed at silly things.. cried with each other even if it was not serious.. played pranks.. consoled each other.. comfortable sitting in silence with each other.. those warm embrace which would tell us I'm there for u.. our fights.. ego clashing.. not ready to accept our mistakes.. harsh words to each other...
 
Akshara:even though we walked in different path for sometime.. we found our way back to each other...true friends r meant to stay and that's y we r here together again she said completing while Abhimanyu  nodded smiling
 
An hour later..abhira  finally decided to leave and go home.
 
After sometime  they reached outside  birla mansion and  waved at the cab driver
 
Abhimanyu:, wait let me call vidyut he said taking out his phone

Akshara: y vidyut you can call parth bhai and neil na what if they are you know drunk then we can help them too

Abhimanyu chuckled while akshara frowned

Akshara: what's so funny

Abhimanyu: nothing it's just that I wont call them as they are going to stay at the party for sometime and then head to hospital for their duties so they wont be coming back home  he said nodding his head making akshara nod her head with him in sync

he then called vidyut... akshara  was looking around to see nobody noticing them; behaving  as if they get caught then they would get in trouble

Abhimanyu:hello vidyut.. how r u..
 
Vidyut:Abhimanyu.. r u ok ?
 
Abhimanyu:haan what would happen to me.. acha listen me and akshara  have reached home ok tell parth bhai and neil not to worry about us . u enjoy your night chal bye he said cutting the call without listening to vidyut
 
Akshara :done
 
Abhimanyu:haan done
 
Akshara : ok
 
Abhimanyu:chalo let's go in now
 
Akshara :ek minute she said holding abhimanyu wrist stopping him from walking
 
Abhimanyu:yaar what is it now chatterbox
 
Akshara :how will we get into the house stupid
 
Abhimanyu:of course with  keys I have the spare keys na he said showing it to her
 
Akshara :but what if someone sees us.. it wouldn't look good na by seeing us in this state
 
Abhimanyu:point let's do one thing.. we will slowly enter without making any sound
 
Akshara :done
 
Abhimanyu slowly enters the key into the keyhole and opens the door slowly while both walk in finding the lights off
 
Akshara :looks like everyone has slept
 
Abhimanyu:shh akshuuu how much do u speak.. what did I say we will enter the house quietly. U seriously r a chatterbox he whispered while akshara  pouted
 
Abhimanyu: I'll walk ahead and u follow behind me ok
 
Akshara :ok
 
Abhimanyu closed the door and started to walk slowly while akshara  was behind him when suddenly they saw mahima near the stairs walking down and heading towards the dining table to get the jug of water which was on the table
 
At that time abhira hid in a corner..  both was waiting for mahima to leave
 
As mahima was about to leave akshara  hand by accident knocked a vase down from the side table.. akshara  covered her mouth while Abhimanyu turned to see the broken vase and glared at akshara .. mahima turned around and walked a little forward
 
Mahima:who is over there?.. Abhimanyu who was glaring at akshara  spoke
 
Abhimanyu:nobod.....but he stopped himself from saying nobody
 
Akshara :uff she whispered and tried to see if Mahima was walking towards their direction.. suddenly she heard Abhimanyu making sounds
 
Abhimanyu:meaowww...meaowwww.
 
Akshara  looked at Abhimanyu. The way he was doing his meaoww was actually making her laugh.. she quickly placed her hand on her mouth to control herself
 
Mahima:its a cat sound.
 
Abhimanyu:meaooow he continued.
 
Mahima: but where did the cat come from ? She wondered
 
She looked around the hall to see the windows were closed and went to the kitchen to see the window was slightly open
 
Mahima:the window is open so the cat must have come in from here.. I'll leave it open so that the cat goes back out.. manjari  must have forgotten to close the window.. I'll have to tell manjari to check the kitchen before leaving  she said shaking her head and walked out of the kitchen
 
Abhira saw mahima walking back up and breathed a sigh of relief.. after a min they tiptoed slowly to their room looking around to see nobody is there
 
As they reached to their room akshara  closed the door
 
Abhimanyu:yaar because of u we nearly got caught.. even at this time u couldnt keep your hand still right.. because of me we got saved otherwise taiji would have caught us.
 
Akshara :now how is that my fault ... it was too dark to even notice anything
 
Abhimanyu:yh right ....u should thank me for saving us
 
Akshara  turned him around making him face her and placed both her hands on her hips with eyebrows raised
 
Akshara :u saved us?

Abhimanyu looked at her and then looked away..akshara  also turned the other way while speaking
 
Akshara :  Excuse me dr birla  which cat makes a 'meaow' in a manly voice.. please tell me...u should be thankful that taiji was sleepy that she didnt notice us otherwise we would have been caught.she said saying this
 
Suddenly they both turned to look at eadh other and started to laugh remembering the scene
 
Akshara :yaar..on a serious note.. next time practice on how to 'meaow' like a cat she said chuckling
 
Abhimanyu:very funny I was pretty good making those sounds
 
Akshara :that's what u think.. anyways let sleep now
 
Abhimanyu:yup it's late now
 
Akshara :hmm..Abhi I'm sleeping on the couch u sleep on the bed
 
Abhimanyu:no no not u ...I'll sleep on the couch u sleep on the bed
 
Akshara :I said na I will ...y cant u listen to me
 
Abhimanyu:  well y cant u listen to me... when I'm saying sleep on the bed then sleep on it na I'll sleep on the couch
 
Akshara :look just let me ok
 
Abhimanyu:no u let me sleep on the couch
 
Both continued arguing like this for 5 mins
 
Abhira :enough now.. we both will sleep on the bed they said at the same time
 
Akshara :arien wah both of us said it at the same time and exact thing she said laughing
 
Abhimanyu:because we r besites hi five he said
 
Akshara  and Abhimanyu got onto the bed
 
Both layed down a little close..
 
Akshara  started cracking up while remembering something making Abhimanyu look at her
 
Abhimanyu: y r u laughing ?
 
Akshara :just remembered a funny moment from college
 
Abhimanyu: tell me he said turning to face akshara  
 
Akshara : do u remember how once how we all played truth and dare and neil chose dare so  arohi  dared him to dress up as a girl for a day and pretend to be a new student in college...
 
Abhimanyu: oh that was fun.. neil dressed as a girl wearing salwar kameez he said starting to caress her hair
 
Akshara :haan and how some guys would actually flirt with him thinking he is a girl when the reality was something else and poor him... a guy even had proposed him during that day..neil's face was worth seen she said laughing.. Abhimanyu chuckled while still playing with her hair
 
Akshara : the other one ...u remember for Halloween u dressed up as a mummy with toile...toilet paper wrapped around your whole body .. vidyut as a zombie and ne as a dead soul with white saree and long hair with a lamp.
 
Abhimanyu:hey but that wasnt funny ok
 
Akshara :it was ...because 3 of u dressed up to scare us ..but oh gosh your plan went in vain as when u all tried to scare us together it seemed more like a funny scene than a horror scene and also how juhi and Arohi .. walk.. walked over to u and teared a piece of tissue saying.. tissue man u can go we will call for service if needed. Damn all 3 of your reactions was just epic she said laughing
 
Abhimanyu:very funny chatterbox
 
Akshara :I told u she said laughing and at the same time enjoying him playing with her hair
 
Abhimanyu: chatterbox
 
Akshara :hmm
 
Abhimanyu:u were so fat/chubby during childhood. Your excitement on seen food would be on a different level he said laughing
 
Akshara : how rude I'm not talking to u she said making a face and turned her back on him facing the other way and closed her eyes
 
Abhimanyu:akshu he said tapping her shoulder but she kept on shrugging her shoulder and tried to sleep
 
Abhimanyu shook his head and smiled..
 
He pulled her closer to him making her back collide with his chest... he rested his right hand on her waist
 
As he pulled her closer to him in his embrace protectively...he inhaled her scent smiling and then rested his head on the crook of her neck
 
akshara  smiled slowly and adjusted her neck to allow him to rest his head on her neck more comfortably and placed her hand on top of his hand which was on her stomach
 
Both had their eyes closed
 
Abhimanyu:goodnight akshara  
 
Akshara :goodnight abhimanyu she whispered back... both falling into a peaceful sleep.
 
The next morning
 
The scene was still the same with Abhimanyu face in the crook of her neck with hands on akshara  waist while her hand on top of his but now their hands were intertwined together
 
Abhimanyu slowly stirred in his sleep...he was able to smell something lovely on his nose...akshara  was still asleep but moved a little to adjust her neck.... Abhimanyu felt goosebumps and frowned first
 
His eyes shot open and was shocked to see him so close to akshara  and the way they were sleeping he first realised he was staring at her neck and then his eyes travelled down to his hands which was on her waist where his hand was interiwned with akshara  hand.
 
Akshara :ummmm she moaned slightly in her sleep... Abhimanyu felt a shiver run down his spine . He wanted to move but wasnt able to
 
It was like his heart and mind was having a war
 
Mind was saying:abhimanyu move away from her this isnt right
 
Heart: stay Abhimanyu u r not doing anything wrong.. enjoy the moment
 
His heart finally won and he stayed there like that
 
Abhimanyu was watching her sleep peacefully in his arms while there was a smile on her face which made him smile.. he actually loved having her in his arms and didnt want to move her away
 
Few mins later akshara  woke up.... Abhimanyu didnt realise as he was too busy staring at her while akshara  looked up at him.. both had an eye lock..
 
Abhimanyu stared at akshara .. There was so much intensity, his eyes held for her..as he had stared at her intently, some of her rebellious hair strands came upon her face touching her cheeks.. He became jealous of them, how easily those strands were touching her soft skin when he should be the one to feel her skin not them.. So he brushed his fingers on her skin and tucked those strands behind her ears..He was so wrong, her skin felt softer and smoother than he anticipated..Akshara  felt his fingers brushing, she was squirmed by his touch, she closed her eyes and leaned on his touch..Her breath hitched. ..She opened her eyes as she felt Abhimanyu slowly moving his thumb on her lips tracing the outline of it...
 
Abhimanyu slowly moved closer and closer until there was no gap between them, their eyes feeling each others lips.. His warm breath caressing her face. They stayed like that for few secs when Abhimanyu slowly pressed his lips onto hers, It was soft and demanding.. Akshara  was baffled at first, she felt like she couldn't breath.. His cologne was strong and intoxicating but what really drugged her was just the smell of him, his natural smell, a mixture of soap, hair gel and peppermint.. A sudden overwhelming urge came over her to want to kiss him back, she closed her eyes and joined him following the rhythm..
 
Her lips felt softer against his..They were so soft and feathery, softer than petals.. He felt like his chest had been set on fire. He placed his hand on her cheeks and deepend the kiss. His tongue gently rubbed on her bottom lips. She tasted like the chocolate ice-cream they had yesterday... Abhimanyu pushed further into the kiss, pressing her lips little forcibly to try and gain access in her mouth but akshara  didn't let him.. Abhimanyu hands caressed her jawline and bit on her bottom lips lightly making her part her lips slightly and gained entrance in her mouth.. He started sucking on her tongue slowly tasting her while akshara  slowly reciprocating his touch..Akshara  moved her hands around his neck and then slowly moved her hands behind the back of his head playing with his soft hair from the end... Abhimanyu captured her lips again kissing her lower lips as if massaging it..It felt wonderful and amazing, but that was when he realised what he was doing. that to with Akshara ??.. His eyes snapped open..
 
Akshara  opened her eyes as she didnt feel any movement..
 
As they looked at each other Abhimanyu jerked akshara  away..
 
Both were trying to say something but no words were forming looking here and there and sometimes at each other
 
Akshara  got up and quickly ran to the washroom closing the door
 
Akshara : omg what just happened she thought remembering their position and pushed her hair back with one hand on her hip
 
Precrap: abhimanyu and akshara  think about yesterday incident.. getting flashes of what happened this morning...will things get complicated now?
