Abhi walks passes the room where Pragya and Bulbul were in.

He stops by hearing the door opened. He heard Pragya telling something and he turned back to look at her.

He was surprised to see her not wearing saree anymore.

Abhi walked to them and asked
"Bulbul....it's not some happy moment that both of you have to dress up well."

Bulbul "Dress up? We are wearing just normal salwar kameez Bhai....."

He looks at Pragya who was now looking elsewhere.

Bulbul "Pragya, aunty called you just now na. You go and look for her at the kitchen."

Pragya quickly left before looking at Abhi for a while.

Abhi sees her going away and Bulbul says "Actually if you are wondering why Pragya changed into salwar kameez then I can tell you."

Abhi blatantly said, "I don't know what she wear earlier."

Bulbul "Bhai, I know you have seen her wearing your favourite blue color saree. I saw you seeing us when we entered the room. So don't lie to me!"

Abhi "Wo....I was...."

Bulbul "She got reminded that she was wearing your favourite blue color saree. She did it absent mindedly so she asked me whether I have any spare salwar kameez. Then I gave one for her to wear. But why are you upset about this matter? Does it bother you seeing her not wearing your favourite blue color saree?"

Abhi "Nothing like that! Sometimes you are talking too much Bulbul!"

He said in a angry tone and leaves from there.

Bulbul murmurs "This two na....both behaving like this and making me confused!"

At kitchen,

"I have to thank you a lot. I thought you will be feeling bad towards us after what Abhi had done. But you....You went on to think about his future....." Abhi's mother said.

Pragya "There is no need for you to thank me. I have to thank for everything that happened because of him. And whatever happened was meant to happen Aunty. I don't feel bad about it. All I hope now is nothing bad happens hereafter."

Abhi's mother smiled at her reply and asked her to go and be with Bulbul.

Pragya was walking up the stairs and saw Abhi coming out of his room. He was dressed in a formal wear.

Pragya looked smitten by his handsome look.

"Control yourself Pragya. You have to act as if you are ready to avoid him." She tells herself by looking at him.

She walks pass him when he calls "Pragya....."

Pragya stops and looks back at him.

Abhi "Wo....how can you? I mean did you met Ma?" He asks her.

Pragya smiles inwardly and responses "Yes I met her. She is hoping today will turn out well."

Abhi looks frustrated and asks "Do you want it too?"

Pragya was about to say something when Bulbul comes over there by asking in a loud voice "Pragya! Faster come here! Why Purab is not picking up my call?"

Both startled by her loud voice, looks away.

Bulbul "Why is he not picking up my call?" She asks by pulling Pragya away and Abhi sighed seeing Pragya going away.

"Poor boy! I think he is getting confused." She thinks by looking at Bulbul still mumbling about Purab.

Later that day,

Abhi feels uncomfortable with the things going around. He sees an unknown girl.

He was mostly looking at Pragya and she was not having any eye contact at him. And understanding his plight, she excused herself and goes into the kitchen.

Seeing Abhi's silence, his mum said "Abhi tell something. Can't you see Laila is waiting to hear your voice?"

Laila "Aunty, you are telling as if I am eager to hear him singing!" She says and made everyone chuckle.

Abhi smiles faintly and looks at Bulbul.

Bulbul signals him to talk something.

Abhi was in no mood to talk. In fact, he was worried thinking how Pragya would be feeling now. Is this even necessary to happen this way?

That's when Pragya came by and said "Aunty, dinner is prepared and everyone can have it now."

That's when Laila's mother asked "Who is she? I have been wondering who is she for quite sometime."

Abhi's mother replies "She is Bulbul's friend. She always come here."

Abhi looks at Pragya who is looking down and tries to hide her tears.

Pragya quickly changes her expression and smiles at the guests.

Pragya "I just came by to help out here. Bulbul was helping to tidy up the house and I was helping at the kitchen."

"That's so sweet. Nowadays, girls rarely do housework. Like my daughter Laila she doesn't do much work at all but both this girls are helping out at housework!" Laila's mother said to which Laila frowned at her.

Abhi's mother "That's not an issue. I guess she will do housework when it needs to be done."

Laila "Yes Aunty! I will do it but not as frequent as you all....."

Pragya smiles at Laila. Laila asks "Maybe I will help out serving the dinner today?"

Abhi's mother "Go ahead Laila!" She said and Laila follows Pragya to the dining room.

Abhi sees Pragya going off and wonders how long will he need to stand all this!

The day ended with Laila talking to Abhi in private. She said she also feels like him that love is a hurdle to achieve success in life. Abhi spoke to her half-heartedly and this was noticed by Laila. She never asked why he was like that. She felt maybe he was feeling everything is happening all of a sudden.

After Laila and her family had left his house, Abhi says to everyone, "Enough of all this. I can't stand all this nonsense!"

"Nonsense? Do you think we are doing nonsense now?" His mother asked in a loud tone.

Abhi "Ma please....try to understand. I am not ready for this! Just forget about all this and do something useful!"

Pragya hearing this walks up to him and says "I know it's hard for you but do think about your family's wish."

Abhi shouts "Why are you interfering in my life Pragya?"

Before she could react to him, he pulled her closer and said "This is the limit Pragya! Stop doing all this! I know you are purposely doing all this to irritate me!"

Pragya was in tears seeing him behaving wildly towards her.

Mr Prem said "Stop it Abhi!"

Taken aback by his voice, Abhi pushed her away and Bulbul got hold of her before she looses her balance.

Mr Prem coming down the stairs said "Why are you acting like a beast? How can you behave towards a girl like this? Is this what we have taught you?"

Abhi "Stop asking me questions Papa. You don't understand what I am going through!"

Mr Prem "We understand it's not easy for you to agree to a marriage all of a sudden. But can't you see we are trying our best to find someone like you! We actually chose Laila as she is someone like you who runs her own business despite the fact that her father is a well known businessman. She is independent like you and most importantly she also believe in love and marriage being a hindrance to success in life!"

Abhi "I don't want anyone someone like me! This is not about living a life with someone like me. It's about living a life with someone who likes me."

He says it firmly looking at Pragya. Pragya could feel he is very much hurt of what's happening now.

"Oh no! I feel I have made a mistake of doing this. Now it looks like both father and son will have a argument. What can I do to stop this from happening? Think Pragya! Faster think! You can't cause a rift between father and son. That's not your purpose now!" She thought and the next moment she fainted.

She knew it was Abhi's strong arms holding her and patting her cheek.

Pragya was determined not to open her eyes until the doctor arrives.

She could hear the voices asking to get her to room and Bulbul saying she will call the Doctor.

She opened her eyes slowly after hearing to the doctor's voice.

Doctor after checking her said "She looks fine. Maybe she would have fainted due to tiredness."

Abhi was standing outside the room with his arms folded.

Abhi's mother was relived hearing the doctor's words.

Bulbul "It's getting late. I think we have to leave now before Sarla aunty worries for you."

Pragya in a frail tone "Okay.....but....I want to talk to him...."

Bulbul "You mean Bhai? I don't think it's right time now Pragya. You did see how fierce he was just now na...."

Pragya "Please....Aunty just once and then I will leave from here."

"Teek hai....I will call him inside and remind him to be gentle towards you." She replied and both Bulbul and Abhi's mother went out of the room.

In a short while, Abhi came in and he looked guilty of himself for showing his frustration towards Pragya.

Pragya "Why are you hesitating to come near me?"

Abhi looks at her with tears in his eyes.

Pragya wakes up from the bed and says "Why are you in tears? This is not your fault! So please don't feel for this!"

Abhi "It's all my fault Pragya! I don't know what went inside my mind and I was angry towards you! You first lie down. You don't have to strain yourself."

Pragya "You are getting it wrong again. This isn't your fault. I acted to faint as I was scared that you and your dad will have an argument!"

Abhi "Really?"

Pragya "Haan! But I am sorry. I couldn't think of any other way. I'm really very sorry....."

Abhi "I knew it Pragya.....You did like this before too. You always do like this to calm down a situation."

Pragya is unable to understand it at first but later realizes he is referring to the time she had a memory loss.

Abhi "I know you are doing all this for my family.....I understand it is important to fulfill my family's wish. But....it's paining Pragya.....it pains to think someone else as my life partner...."

Pragya "Why? Why Abhi? Why does it feel painful Abhi? Why does it feel so when you have forgotten about the love you have for me?"

Abhi "You think I have forgotten my love for you? It's not easy to forget it Pragya. I am hiding it Pragya. Can't you see it?"

Pragya "It's obvious that you are hiding it. That's why I am doing my efforts to make you forget your love for me."

Abhi "But why? I mean why now? Why all this! All this is making me only think I was bad by cancelling our marriage!"

Pragya "Calm down.....You were not bad as you feel. I know you cancelled it thinking of me in your mind. I know it's for my goodness."

Abhi "You know? How do you know?"

Pragya "Because you love me.....and I know you love me to the extent that you are ready to leave me for something better in my life."

Abhi sat down in shock and can't believe she is repeating the same words as she did before.

Pragya "What happened? Did I tell something wrong?" She asked in a worried tone.

Abhi "Did you remember anything Pragya?"

Pragya "Remember? What do you mean?"

Abhi "Oh so you don't remember anything! "

He says in disappointment. He then breathes heavily and looks in stress.

Pragya "Abhi please....Don't stress yourself. I am here na...." she says and hugs him.

Abhi faintly "Pragya....." Pragya doesn't know what to do now and was keep on rubbing his back to comfort him

Suddenly, Abhi pushed her away and said "I am fine. Now you leave from here."

Pragya "What's wrong with you Abhi? Are you hiding anything from me?"

Abhi "I said leave from here!" He says loudly making Pragya to be startled.

Pragya "Abhi, look here! It's foolish to hide your pain. I know I made mistakes by giving you pain before. But now I want to rectify all that by helping you!"

Abhi "I just got carried away thinking about the past. That's all! Now you can leave!"

Pragya "How long will you hold onto the past? Why can't you see the present and future? Yes I know your past would have been beautiful but now it's not about living the past. Now it's about making your present and future to be beautiful!"

Abhi looks at her and says "Just go away Pragya!"

Pragya "I think more than me you need help in handling yourself."

Abhi screamed "Shut up! Just leave!"

Pragya shouts "Bulbul!!!"

Bulbul together with his mother reached the room and they saw Pragya looking at Abhi.

Pragya "Bulbul, I am fine now but your Bhai is not fine. It's not my fault Bulbul. He is making himself not well by hiding everything! I don't think he will tell you too."

She then looks at Abhi who was looking away.

Pragya "Aunty....just for a while stop searching someone for him. We have to first make him feel steady in his feelings."

Abhi's mother "What are you saying Pragya?"

Pragya "I will explain more later Aunty. It's getting late now. I have to go and he needs rest too." She said and was about to leave when he called her.

Abhi "Pragya....." Pragya looks back at him tenderly.

Abhi "Take care....." Pragya "Same to you...."

Bulbul followed Pragya and his mother was unable to comprehend the way both Abhi and Pragya communicated.

She leaves Abhi to rest and thinks whether Pragya still wants back Abhi in her life?

Abhi's POV:
Why did I behave like that? Why was I so fierce and at the same time weak in front Pragya? Is it because I feel she is my strength and weakness? I don't know!

All I know is I love her! Yes I always love her! I can't deny it.

I know for what I am hiding this love. I can't tell the reason to her. She will surely scold me for it. But why was I reacting with so much of pain just now? Now she will be worried for me! Damn it! Why can't I control myself and be more determined in my decision!

Or maybe I should leave from here for sometime. Yes I must do this so that I can avoid her. Perhaps I will be able to hide my love more easily through this way!

Pragya "This is completely childish! Now he is trying to run away from me like a kid? Do I look like a monster to run away from?"

Purab "I don't know! Maybe he feel that way....."

Pragya furiously "Purab!!!"

Purab "Ok I was just kidding. Now what do we do?"

Pragya "He can't even run away from me without keeping this as a secret! Just call his staff number and we will nab Abhalien before he leave to another planet!"

Purab in confusion "Huh? Another planet?"

Pragya "I am very pissed off now Purab! Stop reacting like this and call that staff."

Purab immediately does as she said and wondered why suddenly she sounds like a police officer.

"Where will you go Abhalien? From now onwards I have to deal you violently. I have dealed you softly, seductively, romantically, gently and even crazily by making myself look crazy! But all this doesn't work! And Now it's time to be violent!" She says to herself.
