Chapter 5
Come on Taylor! We have to get out of here. Moving my body to look in the drawers of the teacher's desk I found it empty. Except for some weird mold growing in the drawers. It was dark, almost a black color, it wasn't fuzzy looking as mold usually was. It was more slimy like glue. It stuck to the inside of the drawers but it looked wet at the same time.
Closing the drawers I turn my attention to the floor. As I looked closer at the discussing floors I saw something reflect a little bit of light. Crouching down to examine the reflective item I found it to be a coin. Just what I was looking for. The coin was covered in the mold I saw in the desk earlier.
As I picked up the coin it was covered in that black substance. It felt gross like glue but some parts was dry around it. I knew I needed to wipe the coin off before I used it though, so I did.
Sticking the coin in my pocket I go to face the other half of the problem. I pushed one of the students desks to the vent. Climbing on it I found that I could reach enough to pull myself up. I slowly began to work on each screw one by one, slower as I reached the top of it being taller then me.
As all the screws came off, I grabbed the vent cover and pulled it off, placing it to the side. I began my climb inside the vent. The vent was small. I had to scuize my way threw. After what felt like forever, I made it to a new room this was another classroom but it was more clean then the last one.
Just by looking at it I knew something was wrong. Looking at the walls I found weighting on them saying 'ITS ALL YOUR FALT.' "What." I mumble quietly. As I say this I felt an tremendous amount of pain in my head, the pain brought me to my knees. Where I began to cry.
As the salty tears ran down my face, I began to smell smoke. Looking up from my disheveled state. I found a fire as spread across the room. With a quick look around, I found the window being the only place in the room were the flames were tame.
In a state of panic, I quickly rush to the window, fumbling to get it open. Eventually I just gave up and threw the nearest object out the window, that just so happened to be a textbook. As the window shattered I scrambled out of it. Quickly staying to the edge of the school.
Looking down I could see the edge I was standing on was thin and I would be able to slip easily, if I wasn't careful. Looking closer I notice that it the classrooms I was in were on the second floor. This realization made my hands clammy. If I was to fall, I would break my leg. Then what? I would have to wait to get caught by this psycho? No, I have to continue on.
As I shuffle towards the other side of the building. I noticed an open window. Without asking any questions or looking in first I crawled inside.
