Sarah POV 

Today Kade will be taking me out to meet his family.

He said that everything is going to be alright but you know when you have the gut feeling that something bad will happen?

 Well that is how I feel at the moment. Tasha is helping me get ready. She says that I will knock them dead with my beauty.

But I cannot help feeling the way I am feeling. How do you become a queen if you never know that such a world exists.

I am hit by so many thoughts that I am scared shitless.

I am just an ordinary girl.

Thinking all of this makes me want to lock up the door again but at this time throw away the key.

But then there is Kade, this wonderful amazing man that has been so good to me and understanding.

So I am doing this for him.

I will be strong!!

I am strong!!

When Tasha was finished she turned me to the mirror. I could hardly believe that I am that woman. Although I am panicking on the inside, my face looks like the strong woman I keep trying to tell myself I am.

Giving Tasha a nod I got up and she took me into the hall where Kade was waiting for me.

Just as I saw him I rushed over and grabbed onto him like a lifeline.

He must have sensed my distress because he hugged me back and gave me a kiss on my forehead.

My heart flutters at that. He was worth all of this. I reached up and gave him a kiss on the lips since I knew the lipstick would not transfer. Tasha told me so... it is worth testing it out. 

"Alright baby it's time for us to meet my parents and siblings, don't be nervous they won't bite you."    

I looked at him with wide eyes. Is he crazy? They are all werewolves of course they bite!! 

He looked like he was struggling not to laugh, guess he heard me again...I have to learn to control this mind reading thing.

I give him a small smile as he links his hand with mine to leave.

I look back at Tasha and she gives me a thumbs up. I smile and walk with kade.

Firstly, this place is huge! 

"Kade, is this a castle?"

"Yes love, where would a king live?" 

I hit his hand while he smiled at me.

"Kade, what if they don't like me???
After all I am human, how will they accept a human to rule them?"

"Relax baby, and you would not be human for much longer. The full moon is coming up ok, no stressing alright? Just don't show them that you are nervous alright? Just be yourself, that will be enough"

"Hmmm ok I will try my best"

As we near a big door I held Kade's hand tighter.

He could not escape without dragging me along with him.

As the door opened there was a long strip of red carpet leading up to steps then there were chairs on top.

As I was observing my surroundings I noticed there was a couple sitting next to the stairs. There were chairs with other people but what drew me to them is the man resemblance to kade.
But they look very young. The man looks a few years older than kade.

As we enter, everyone turns to watch us walk towards them. I try not to fidget or show any weakness, if i am to be queen i need to be strong, with that though in mind i lift my head and walk with kade to the front.  

When we meet the front kade addresses everyone.

"Everyone this is My mate Sarah"

"Sarah, this is my father John and my mother Lisha.
My brother kelvin, kellon and my sister Ava.
There is also my beta remember i told you about him and this is his mate Kesha"  

I give him a nod.

"Hi, nice to meet all of you" I whispered.

By the looks of it, Kade's father is holding his mother's hand very tight. 

But he cannot contain her anymore as she bubbles with excitement and rushes over to me, lifting me off my feet… god the woman is strong! I giggled while Kade tried to get his mother to let go of me. I hugged her back.

"Oh my I have been waiting so long to meet you but kade kept you locked up in that room, I gave him an earful of how he was keeping my daughter from me." I turn to look at kade. He looks guilty.

Good serve him right!!

Then his dad came up.

"It's finally good to see you Sarah yes kade mother is right but i do understand why he did it, it was very hard to contain his mother from getting to you but welcome to the family" he gave me a sideways hug. 

Then his brothers came and I was lifted off my feet again.

"I can see why you kept her locked up brother she is quite a beauty" I giggle…

While kade on the other hand growls.

"You better let her go brother if you know what is good for you!" He said through clenched teeth.

He let me go so fast I almost lost my footing. The other brother just shook my hands as he looked at his brother.

Guess my man is a badass. If he looks so scared I laugh in my head a bit.

Then his sister came up. She was pretty. She looked like the smallest of the set with a shy smile. It was my turn to pull someone in a hug, she hugged me back and then let go and smiled.

His second in command wife came rushing to me just like this mother. I was almost knocked to the floor with her excitement.

It was contagious.

"We are going to be best friends! It is so nice to finally meet you!" 

As we were all talking a woman walked in... I noticed kade's stiff posture as she came near and everyone's expressions, some looked angry while others looked like they were swallowing something horrible.

As she neared i heard her say,
"Kade honey I heard you are introducing your new pet and I came to see, is she why I have been neglected?"

"What the hell are you talking about Marva??" Kade roared.

I am so shocked by her words that I am looking at kade. But he is looking at her like he is about to kill her.

This was a long chapter! Guess this is what my first chapter should have looked like...
