*Tony POV*
I wake up in the morning and look at my phone. It's 9:30 in the morning. I guess I was tired, but it's a Friday so Pepper should have woken me up to do some work stuff if I had any.

"FRIDAY where is everyone" I ask

"Miss Potts was here and had some breakfast with daggers and then went to her office. Mr. Parker is in the living room with point break and Strongest avenger. Bird brain, Buccaneer, and Bird Brain 2 are in the gym. Iron Patriot and Daggers have gone out. Captain Rogers is asleep in the lab" FRIDAY says

"Thanks FRIDAY. Please change Rhodey's name from Iron Patriot to colonel. And change Sam's from Bird Brain 2 to DoDo bird" I say

"Yes sir. It has been done" she says

I get out of bed and get dressed for the day. I think about what I'm going to do today and decide I'm going to do nothing so I throw on comfortable clothes. I then open up the secret door in my room and take the stairs all the way down to my lab. I get down there and Steve is in his corner and fast asleep sitting on his stool and his head rested on the table. I go over to him and gently shake him awake.

"What time is it" he groans

"It's ten in the morning. What time did you fall asleep at" I ask

"I don't know. Whenever I got angry with my painting" he says

"Where is your painting" I ask

"I threw it in the trash chute" he says

"Why" I ask

"It wasn't any good" he says

"Oh well we should go eat breakfast" I say

"I'm not hungry" he says closing up his walls again

"Come on Steve you need to eat. We don't need this to happen again. I told you I'd be here for you and I am. You just need to open up for me" I say

"I don't know." He says

I look at him and he has tears threatening to spill. I grab his hand and lead him over to the couch.

"Does this have to do with me? Or with Peter" I ask

"What do you mean with you" he asks

"Don't hate Nat, but when she was talking to me she sort of mentioned that you like me" I say

"WHAT" he yells standing up

I grab his arm and pull him back down on the couch.

"It's okay. Because the more that I think about it, I start thinking about you and can't get you out of my mind. I'm also worrying about you a lot more because I think I like you too. No scratch that, I know I like you too" I say

"You're just saying that" he says

I look at him and lean in. He leans in some and I connect our lips. After a few seconds I pull away.

"If I was just saying it would I have done that" I whisper

"No" he blushes and looks down

I push his chin up and peck his lips again.

"Will you Steven Grant Rogers be my boyfriend and go on a date with me" I ask

"Yes Anthony Edward Stark" he says

"Good. We'll go tonight. Now what else is bothering you" I ask

"I guess talking with Peter about his Aunt is bringing up memories from the 40's that I've done so well at repressing until recently" he says

"Hey it's going to be okay. I know Bucky is not the same as then but he is very similar and you have him back. I also know that it hurt to lose Peggy because she was your first love. I miss her too. She hung around our house a lot and even when my parents passed away she would check in on me a lot. Like I told you before, I will always be here for you. Now let's go get some breakfast/lunch before the others come looking for us" I say

"Okay. Are we telling them about us" he asks

"Us? I like the sound of that. It's up to you" I say

"Can we wait until after our date tonight" he asks

"Of course. And to be able to leave tonight we'll just tell them that we are going to a press conference that requested only the two of us" I say

"They're then going to try and watch it" he says

"Oh yeah" I say

"We can just tell them right now." He mumbles

"Hey Steve, you sure? We can figure out a way to go behind their back" I say

"No it's okay. Let's tell them. I'm sure they'll all be okay with it" he smiles

"Okay. Well let's go Captain" I tease

He groans and stands up. I grab his hand and we walk to the elevator. We ride it to the main living area and then walk out. We then walk pass everyone who's in the living room and go to the kitchen.

"What do you want to eat" I ask

"What are you doing Tony? You don't know how to cook" he says

"Yes I do. I've seen you and Nat cook plenty of times" I say

"I don't think so. I'm going to make some Mac n cheese. But you can help if you want" he says

"I want Mac n cheese pops. Please" Peter says racing into the kitchen

"Sure. What are you guys watching in there" Steve asks

"American Sniper" Peter says

"CLINT BARTON! Why is Peter watching a rated R movie! He is only 15" I yell

"S***" we hear

"Language" Steve says

We look at Peter and he is covering his ears.

"Sorry Pete. Forgot you were still struggling with your senses." Steve says

"It's okay pops. Dad, Pops, could I hang with Ned and MJ today" Peter asks

"Yeah sure. Why don't they come here. You guys can hang out in the game room. Also on that floor I just put in a lego room." I say

"Yes. Thanks. Love you guys" he calls and races out

"Love you too Pete" Steve mumbles

I laugh and pay attention to what Steve is doing. After thirty minutes he puts the dish in the oven.

"We never told Peter" he whispers

"That's okay. We can tell him later. Let him have fun with his friends. Let's at least go tell the others" I say

He nods and I grab his hand. We go out to the living room and everyone is still watching American Sniper since Peter is no longer in the room.

"FRIDAY pause the movie" I say

The movie pauses and everyone looks at us. They look at our faces and then look at our hands.

"Finally" Nat cheers

"I knew you liked him Stevie" Bucky says

"I always knew there was a different reason for you and Pepper breaking up" Rhodey smirks

"So you all are okay with this" I ask

"Come on Tony, we're thrilled. It also means you two won't be fighting as much." Clint says

"I don't quite understand this" Thor says

"They are dating each other and love each other Thor. Just like how You and Jane loved each other" Nat says

"Oh you mean the same way you scary lady love the green guy" Thor asks

"Something like that" she mumbles

I go to say something but Steve's phone rings. He answers it and listens for a minute and then hangs up.

"Bruce stay here. Pete and his friends are in the game room. The rest of us we need to get to a jet. Bruce we'll be gone for about a day maybe more. If Pete asks where we are just tell him we had to go on a mission" Steve says

"Okay" Bruce says

"Alright everyone go suit up. Meet in the jet in three minutes" Steve calls out

Everyone rushes out and before Steve can walk off I grab his hand.

"You okay" I ask

"Yeah. I'm good. Let's go" he says

I nod and head to my lab. I get into my latest iron man suit and fly to the roof. My suit then collapses into a fob and I pick it up. I walk onto the jet and sit down next to Steve. Once everyone is on Clint flies off.

"What are we dealing with" I ask

"Fury called and said that there's some sort of disturbance in Bangladesh." Steve says

"Okay? And why are we going" I ask

"Because apparently it's too big for the military. Or it's not what the military deals with" Steve says

"Okay." I say

After seven hours we finally arrive. We look out the window and see some weird alien type creatures.

"Alright you guys know what to do" I say

Clint lands the jet and we all get out and start taking them out. Once we have a majority of them dealt with a few more show up. Thor starts swinging his hammer and he releases it. It takes them all out. Well that's what I thought.

"Tony, Steve is in trouble" Sam calls out

I fly into the air and have FRIDAY scan for Steve. Once she spots him I fly over there. He's fighting off one of the creatures. It looks as if it is the biggest out of all the ones we fought. I shoot a blaster at it and it destroys an arm. Sam then sends his little missiles and they get the legs.

"Steve Move" I yell out because the thing is going to fall on him

"He's unconscious" Sam yells just as it falls on Steve

"Guys we need to help Steve" I say

Everyone come over and we go to where the creature is. Thor drops his hammer and starts pushing the alien. We all then join in. We eventually get it off but Steve is still unconscious. I listen for a pulse and find a very faint one.

"We need to get him to Bruce. Now." I say

"Thor can you get back to Bruce quickly" Nat asks

"Of course" Thor says

He picks up Steve and his hammer and flies off.

*Bruce POV*
It's been a day since they all left and Peter went to his friends house to sleep over. I've been spending time in my lab trying to create something for Peter and his senses. I'm about to start making myself some lunch when I hear a loud noise. I rush outside of the building and spot Thor carrying Steve.

"He needs help" Thor says

"Okay. We need to get to the Medbay" I say

We rush to the medbay and Thor lays him down on the bed. I hook him up to oxygen and then start doing x-rays and different stuff. He has several injuries, but I don't know how because he's a super soldier and his injuries should not be this bad. I make sure that Steve is stable and then I grab a few of my books.

"Is Captain okay" Thor asks

"I'm not sure. I mean I'm pretty sure he'll live but I need to find a few things" I say

"Where is man of spiders" he asks

"He's at a friends house. Crap he needs to picked up now. Thor please change into some normal clothes and then go to his friends house and pick Peter up and bring him here. Do not mention Steve to him at all. Just tell him that you came back by the powers of your hammer" I say

"Ok" Thor says

Thor leaves and I continue to look through the books. Every half hour I check on Steve and make sure he's still doing okay. I eventually lose track of time and I hear the medbay doors open. I look up and see everyone including Peter.

"How's Steve" Tony asks

"Um... well..." I stutter

"Bruce what's the matter" Tony asks

"It's not good Tony. He's severely hurt. I have him on oxygen right now but he's still out. He has some broken ribs, a broken leg, a bruised humerus. Broken hand." I say

"Oh my" Nat Gasps

"This shouldn't be though. He's a super soldier. So the creature must have done something to neutralize the serum or something that allowed Steve to get hurt. And if he was able to get hurt that means he will probably start aging soon too" I say

"Okay. Well it's probably in his blood so if you could deal with that I think I know how to help him. Peter I'm going to need your help" Tony says

"Y-yeah Dad. I'll help" Peter says

"Hey kid look at me, your pops will be fine. I know he'll pull through. He's the toughest out of us all. Now if you want him to pull through even more you need to go with your dad and help him" I say

"Okay Uncle Bruce" Peter smiles softly

I nod and the two of them walk out.

"Are we able to help in anyway" Rhodey asks

"Not right now." I say

They nod and they all walk out. I then start getting to work. After an hour or two I have whatever they put in his system out. I make sure he's okay and then go down to Tony's lab. I get down there and there are papers everywhere.

"Woah Tony what happened in here" I ask

"I can't find it" he mutters

"What can't you find" I ask

"The formula. My dad created the serum. He put it somewhere. I can't find it in any of his things." He says

I look at him and he looks like he's about to break. I look around and spot Peter in the far corner sitting on a stool. By what is in the corner I can tell it's where Steve has been painting.

"Did he put anything in any of the cellars at SHIELD" I ask

"Bruce you're a genius. Peter stay here. I'm going to take Rhodey with me. Bruce please keep an eye on Steve for me" he asks

"Of course Tony." I say

Tony races up the stairs and I ride the elevator to the Medbay

"FRIDAY please tell me if Peter leaves the lab and where he is going" I ask

"Of course Dr. banner" FRIDAY says

I walk into the Medbay and go over to Steve. I check his vitals again and they haven't changed since he got here. Well, I guess I should start fixing his injuries so they can heal properly if they don't find the serum. I get to work and finish three hours later. As I'm done I hear the doors open. I turn around and see Sam.

"Hey Bruce. How is he" he asks

"He's okay" I say

"That's good. Hey I know you won't leave him, but you should eat and get some sleep. You've been working for ten hours straight and have probably been up for twenty hours" he says

"I can't. I need to be here for when Tony gets back. Could you or someone go and make sure Peter is okay? He should go to bed or eat some food. Also, if someone brings food up to me I'll eat. I know I should eat" I say

"Of course. You're doing great man. I know it's tough, but if anyone could do this you can" he says

"Thanks Sam" I say

He walks out and a few minutes later Nat walks in with a plate. She sets the plate down on my desk and then walks over to me. She wraps me in a hug and lays her head on my shoulder.

"When are we telling everyone about us" she whispers

"Later on. We need to focus on Steve. But I love you" I whisper

"I love you too." She says

She pecks my lips and goes and sits at my desk. I grab a chair and pull it over to my desk. I then start eating the food. By the time I'm done eating Tony comes running in.

"I found it Bruce" he says

"Okay. Let's go up to my lab because that's where all the chemicals and such are. Nat could you stay with Steve" I asks

"Yeah." She says

Tony and I race up the stairs to the floor above and we walk into my lab. We start measuring and mixing chemicals and other things. After two and a half hours it's done. I get the formula into some syringes and we go back down to the medbay. We go in and over to Steve.

"I'm sorry guys but you need to leave so that I can do this and assess him properly" I say

"Yeah" Tony whispers

Nat guides him out and I get to work. I set up another IV and I insert the formula into it. I wait an hour and then check his vitals again. They're getting stronger. I then run the tests that I ran last time and his injuries are starting to heal quickly. I think I'm out of the clear but he soon starts fading.

"I NEED CLINT NOW!" I yell

Clint runs in and over to me. I tell him what I need him to do and we get to work. We get Steve stable again and Clint walks out. I do a few things then I walk out as well. I go to where everyone is gathered.

"How's Pops" Peter asks

"He's okay. He's going to be okay. He's reacting well to the serum, but he is in a coma right now. I don't know when he's going to wake up" I say

"Thank you so much Bruce. I know it was hard to do because he's a friend, but you saved him and I'm eternally grateful" Tony says

"You're welcome tony" I say

"Thank you Uncle Bruce" Peter says hugging me

"You're welcome kid. Why don't you go with your dad and see your pops. You can even talk to him. Encourage him to wake up." I say

"Okay" he says

Him and tony walk in and I go to my office on this floor. I take off my lab coat and my doctor scrubs and sit down on the floor leaning against the wall exhausted. Nat comes in and sits next to me.

"You did a great job." She says

"Thanks. I'm now exhausted though" I say

"I'm sure. You should get some sleep" she says

"I need to be here in case of Steve" I say

"Can't you just have FRIDAY inform you" she asks

"I guess" I say

We get up and walk to the room where everyone is gathered around Steve's bed.

"Hey I'm going to get some sleep if that okay? FRIDAY will let me know if anything seems off and I'll then get down here as quick as I can" I say

"Of course Bruce. I mean you've gone a little over a day without sleep. I'm surprised you managed to keep calm and not turn into the green guy" Tony says

"Yeah. I just knew I had to keep my cool" I say

I walk out of the room and Nat follows. We take the elevator to the floor our rooms are on and walk to my room. We crawl into bed and I fall asleep relaxing as she massages my tense muscles.
