*Steve POV*
We walk through the park and finally find Peter sitting on the ground next to a box. We go over to him and sit down as well.

"Have you done anything with the baby" Tony asks

"No. All I did was look into the box and then called you" Peter says

"Okay" Tony says

At that moment the baby starts crying so I reach into the box and pull the baby out. I cradle the baby in my arms and the crying stops.

"You're a natural" Tony whispers

"I guess" I say

"So what are we going to do" Peter asks

"We'll bring the little one home with us tonight and then tomorrow morning we'll call Mrs. Gonzalez to see what to do" I say

"Okay. Wait, is the baby a girl or boy" Peter asks

"Not sure. Steve check" Tony says

"I will when we get back to the tower. We'll probably have to change the diaper anyways. Let's go to the car and stop at the store to get some stuff on the way back" I say

"Okay" Tony says

"I'm going to swing back home. Should I tell the others" Peter asks

"No. They're probably asleep. It's 1 in the morning. So be quiet when you go in" Tony says

"Uncle Bucky is probably awake. Vision will also hear me." Peter says

"Tel them you went for a late night swing Pete. They'll rat you out when we all wake up in the morning and I'll deal with your 'punishment' then" I say

"Okay. Night dad. Night pops" Peter says

"Night Underoos" Tony says

"Be careful swinging back" I say

"I will" he says

He swings off and Tony and I stand up from the ground. The baby is still in my arms.

"He's probably going to swing and text" I say

"Yeah probably. We can punish him for that tomorrow when he gets ratted out" Tony says

"Okay. Grab the box. I want to see if there's anything in it when we get back to the tower" I say

Tony nods and grabs the box. We then head to the car. Once we get there I get in back and Tony gets up front. He starts up the car and drives to the store. We go inside and head to the baby section. We grab some diapers, wipes, a package of pacifiers, a bottle, formula, and a few clothes. Once we pay for everything we go back to the car and Tony drives back to the tower. Once we arrive We go up to the main floor and head to the living room where Bucky and Peter are talking.

"What's going on here" Tony asks

"Nothing dad. Uncle Bucky is just lecturing me on listening to you and pops and being back at decent times." Peter says

"Don't forget about no swinging and texting" Bucky says

"I wasn't" Peter says

"Then how did you run into the window that wasn't open" Bucky asks

"Whatever" Peter says

"Go shower Pete and then head to bed. We'll deal with this later" I say

"Okay" Peter says

He walks off and Bucky looks at me and then looks at the baby in my arms.

"What did you go and do now Steve" Bucky asks

"Peter found the baby in a box while on patrol." I say

"Oh yeah Steve I found a note in the box" Tony says

"What did it say" I ask

"Well the baby is a girl. She is just a few weeks old. The father is not around and the mom gave her up because she could not afford her" Tony says

"Does the baby have a name" Bucky asks

"No. There's nothing in the note about a name" Tony says

"Okay. We'll call Mrs. Gonzales later and talk to her about what to do." I say

"Are you going to keep her" Bucky asks

"I don't know" I say

"Ooh Stevie we should. You were talking about wanting a baby. This is clearly our opportunity and our sign to do so" Tony says

"We'll talk with Mrs. Gonzales in the morning" I say

"Okay. Well we should head to bed. You should too Bucky" Tony says

"Wow Buck look at this. The man who usually goes weeks without sleep is telling us to sleep" I say

"I know. I would say it's a Christmas miracle but it's not Christmas." Bucky says

"Oh shut up. Steve you coming" Tony asks

"I'll be there in a bit. Here you take her with you. I'm going to grab the rest of the stuff from the car and make her a bottle" I say

"Um" Tony says

"Tony you'll be fine. Just hold her like I am and when you get to the room you can lay her down on the bed. All you have to do is watch her" I say

"Okay" he says

I pass her over to Tony and he retreats down the hall to our room.

"So what were you doing up" I ask Bucky

"Couldn't sleep. Sam was asleep so I came down here. Peter then swung in. Well, into the window" he says

"Yeah I really need to talk to him about that. He's done it so many times at the cabin." I say

"Are you guys ever moving back into the tower" he asks

"Not sure. Tony likes the cabin. I like it a bit because of the peace and quiet but I do miss you guys and I know Pete does too" I say

We get on the elevator and ride it down to the garage. We grab the stuff from the car and then go back up to the main floor.

"You guys could make that a summer home or something." Bucky suggests

"Maybe. I think we need to deal with the baby first before we talk about anything else." I say

"True. It might take a bit to convince Tony that you'll be okay at the tower" He says

"Well, if you all help me convince him it will be a lot easier" I say

"Oh don't worry. I plan on helping" he says

"Good. Now I need to make a bottle and go help Tony with the baby and you should head to bed" I say

"But I'm not tired Stevie" Bucky says

"Captain Stark, it seems as Peter is stuck" FRIDAY says

Bucky and I look at each other and then go to Peter's room. We open the door and the first thing we see is Peter hanging from the ceiling tangled up in his webs.

"How did this happen Bambi" Bucky asks

"I made myself a swing" Peter says

"I thought we told you to go to bed" I say

"I made a swing" Peter says

"You're staying there until the webs dissolve" I say

"What? No" Peter exclaims

"Yes. This is what you get. Now I have to get to your dad and the baby and uncle Bucky needs to go back to uncle Falcon" I say

"Fine" Peter sighs

I close the door and head to mine and Tony's room with Bucky following me.

"Yes" I ask

"I don't know" he says

"What time is it FRIDAY" I ask

"It is 4:30 am" she says

"See, there's no point in going to bed now. I'll just hang out with you, the baby, and Tony" he says

"Alright" I say

We go in and Tony is asleep with the baby in his arms, but the baby is awake. I carefully take her from his arms and then Bucky and I go to the extra room. The room that use to be mine. We go and sit down and I start feeding her the bottle.

"What would you name her if you guys got to adopt her" he asks

"I'm not too sure. I think we would do something to honor either Tony's mom or Peter's aunt." I say

"Not Peggy" Bucky asks

"No. Not Peggy." I say

"Why not" Bucky asks

"I think I've already had my special moment with Peggy and in order to stay in this healthy mental state I need as little connection to her as possible. Little connection to that incident as much." I say

"What about me" he asks

"What about you" I ask

"Do you need to stay away from me" he asks

"Why would you ask that Buck? Of course not. You are one of the things that keeps me anchored in reality. You were my best friend in childhood and still my best friend now. I mean you're the only one that will always be older than me and I need to be able to rub it in your face" I say

"Punk" he mumbles

"Jerk" I say

"Awe this is so adorable" we hear

We turn to the door and Wanda and Natasha are standing there.

"What do you two want" Bucky asks

"We were awake and came down here. We decided to see if anyone else was awake and heard some mumbling behind this door" Nat says

"Ooh who's the baby" Wanda asks

"Peter found her in the park on patrol" I say

"Bug found her. Awe. Where is bug" she asks

"FRIDAY have the webs disappeared yet" I ask

"Not yet Captain Stark" FRIDAY answers

"Alright. Thank you. Follow me ladies" I say

Bucky and I stand up and we leave the room. Nat and Wanda follow us. I open up Peter's door and he's still hanging from the ceiling in his webs but he's asleep this time.

"How did this happen" Nat asks

"Was he swinging and texting again" Wanda asks

"While on patrol yes. This was because he made a normal swing and then somehow got tangled up." I say

"He's really wanting to be able to have a little sister" Wanda says

"I have to talk to Mrs. Gonzales first" I say

"Okay" Wanda says

I close the door and we all head out to the living room.

"Hey Bucky can you hold her while I go make a bottle" I ask

"I don't know Steve" he says

"Please Buck." I say

"Okay" he says

I carefully pass her over to him and he holds her in his metal arm and she grabs on to a nonmetal finger. Bucky smiles some and I go to the kitchen. I make a bottle and also grab a diaper so that I can change her when she's done. I go back to the living room and Nat and Wanda are surrounding Bucky and the baby.

"Here Buck. Go ahead and feed her. I'll be right back." I say

"No way Steve. I said I'd hold her until you made the bottle" he says

"But she's so comfortable and happy with you. She loves you" I say

"Steve" he says

"Nope. Here have the bottle" I say

I give him the bottle, and set the diaper down then head to mine and Tony's room. I get in there and Tony is still asleep. I crawl into bed next to him and wrap my arms around him. He rolls over and kisses me.

"Hey how did you sleep" I ask

"Okay. I was cold though" he says

"You're lying" I say

"Nope. I was cold. Ironically my Capsicle keeps me warm" he says

"Whatever. FRIDAY please pull up Peter's room" I say

A screen shows up and Peter is still asleep in his webs.

"How the heck did he manage that" Tony asks

"He was swinging" I say

"That boy is something else" Tony says

"Yeah. We do need to punish him in some way for the texting and swinging" I say

"We will. Why is he still in his webs though" Tony asks

"Oh I told him that since he got himself in the mess he has to get himself out. I guess he figured out the only way out was for the webs to dissolve" I say

"You are from the 40s and don't know much about this world or science yet you know a lot about Peter's webs. How?" Tony asks

"I'm taking interest in my son. One day while you were away I told Peter we could go to the lab and he can show me how he makes his web fluid. He was more than delighted to show me." I say

"Why don't you take any interest in my stuff" Tony asks

"Because you always think I'm going to break something" I say

"Well am I wrong" he asks

"Yes" I say

"Steven Grant Stark get your a** out here now" Bucky yells

"What is he yelling about" Tony asks

"I left the baby with him" I say

"Oh" Tony says

"Yeah. Get dressed and then come out I'm going to go help Bucky" I say

"Steven" Bucky yells

"You better go" Tony says

"Yeah" I say

We share a kiss and then I go back out to the living room. I get out there and Bucky is holding a crying baby.

"Where are the girls" I ask

"They went to see their other halves" Bucky grumbles

"Did you burp her" I ask

"What" he asks

"Give her here" I say

Bucky passes her over and I burp her. I then change her diaper and cradle her in my arms again.

"Oh look at captain mommy" Tony says

"Shut up Anthony" I say

"How the heck do you know how to take care of a baby" Bucky asks

"Captain America had to do a lot of press. There were a lot of people that wanted me to hold their babies and such" I say

"I forgot that before you fought you were a mascot" Bucky says

"I hated being a mascot" I groan

"You're a cute mascot" Tony says

"Shut up Anthony" I say

"Mister Stark and Captain Stark Peter is calling for you two" FRIDAY says

"I'm going to go wake Sam up. Have fun dealing with your spiderling" Bucky says

He heads to the elevator and Tony and I go to Peter's room. We go in and sit on Peter's bed.

"Whatcha doing up there Underoos" Tony asks

"Not funny dad. Help me down" Peter says

"Nope. Your pops said you have to get down yourself" Tony says

"But that won't be for awhile. These are my extra strength webs" Peter complains

"FRIDAY please ask vision to come to Peter's room please. Wanda too" I say

"They are on their way Captain Stark" FRIDAY says

"When did you change my name" I ask

"Oh, right after we got married" Tony says

"You called for us Captain" Vision asks

"Yeah can you use the mind stone to get Peter out of his webs and then Wanda can you control him so that he does fall in the ground" I ask

"Yes of course" Wanda says

They do their stuff and Wanda makes Peter land on his bed.

"Thank you Aunt Wanda and Vision" Peter says

"You're welcome bug. Steve would you like me to make breakfast for everyone" Wanda asks

"Yes please if you don't mind" I say

"You're welcome little Einstein. I will help you with breakfast Wanda" Vision says

They leave and Peter pushes his way to sit between me and Tony.

"Have you called Mrs. Gonzales yet" Peter asks

"No not yet. You and Tony are so impatient" I say

"Well call her. What are you waiting for" Tony says

"I was trying to give her time to sleep and not call her in the middle of the night." I say

"You're too nice of a person Capsicle" Tony sighs

"How is that a bad thing" I ask

"It's not. Now go call Mrs. Gonzales and let me hold her" Tony says

"Okay okay I'll go call her. Pete help your dad change her diaper. The stuff is in my old room" I say

"I can change her diaper on my own" Tony says

"Don't worry pops I'll help him" Peter says

"Go call her Steven" Tony grumbles

"Okay okay. I'm going" I laugh

I leave Peter's room and go to mine and Tony's. I grab my wallet and grab out mrs. Gonzales's business card and dial the number.

G-hello
S-hi Mrs. Gonzales this is Steve Stark. I was Steve Rogers. I adopted Peter.
G-oh yes. Hello. How may I help you
S-yesterday Peter was on a walk and found a baby abandoned in a park and we were wondering if you could help us out. The parents are giving the baby up but is it possible for Tony and I to adopt her
G-I do not see why not. Let me talk to a judge and then I will call you back
S-thank you

I hang up and grab a sketchbook. I sketch for about 37 minutes and then my phone rings. I put the stuff down and pick up my phone.

S-hello
G-hello Mr. Stark. I talked to a judge and all you and Mr. Stark have to do is come to the court house and sign adoption papers
S-great. Thank you. When can we come and do that
G-I can meet you guys there in 15 minutes
S-wonderful. See you there

I end the call and go to the door. I open it up and Tony and Peter are standing there.

"Well you guys clearly heard so Pete go get dressed and then eat some breakfast" I say

"Okay pops" Peter says

He goes back to his room and Tony comes in. He lays the baby on the bed and we get dressed. Once done I go to my old room and grab one of the baby outfits. I go back to the room and dress her. I pick her up and give Tony a quick kiss.

"Good morning by the way" I say

"Good morning" he says

We go out to the kitchen and everyone is eating.

"You ready Underoos" Tony asks

"Yea" Peter says

He gets up and we head out before the others can question us. When we get to the garage we get in a car and Tony heads out. I'm sitting in the back with the baby and Tony and Peter are sitting up front.

"What are you going to name her" Peter asks

"Steve what names do you have" Tony asks

"Why do you assume I have names" I ask

"Because you're you" Tony says

"Fine. I was thinking Sarah Maria for the first name because of your mother And mine and then maybe May for the middle name in honor of Aunt May" I say

"Really" Peter asks

"As long as you are okay with it" I say

"Yes of course" Peter says

"Tony what do you think" I ask

"I think it's perfect" Tony smiles

We get to the court house and get out of the car. We go in and find Mrs. Gonzales. We greet her and then follow her to a judge. We answer some questions and then fill out some paper work.

"And what will be this little ones name" the judge asks

"Sarah Maria May Stark" Tony says

"Such a beautiful name. Well you are now the parents and older brother of Sarah Maria May Stark. Congratulations" the judge says

We thank her and Mrs. Gonzales and then head back to the car.

"Well looks like we need to set up a room for her and also we should go and get her a car seat and more" Tony says

"Yeah. About that," I start

"What are you wanting" Tony asks

"We move back to the tower. I want to live with the others. We miss them and they miss us. Pete will also be closer to his friends. We can keep the cabin for a vacation home or something" I say

"I don't know Steve" Tony says

"Please" I say

"I'll think about it. Let's go get some more stuff for her and then head back to the tower" Tony says

"Alright" I say

We go to the store and get stuff and then Tony heads back to the tower. When we get inside I hand Sarah over to Peter and then go for a run.

*Peter POV*
Pops hands Sarah Maria over to me and runs towards the side of the tower. Dad doesn't see since he's already in the tower. I quicken my pace and join him inside. We get on the elevator and it starts moving.

"Where's your pops" he asks

"He went for a run. He's not very happy with you dad" I say

"I figured" he says

"Why don't you want to move back here" I ask

"Because" he says

"That's not a good reason dad" I say

"Just drop it Peter" he says

We get to the main floor and dad heads to his room. I go and join the others who are in the living. I look down in my arms and see Sarah Maria still asleep. I sit down next to uncle Loki and Uncle Clint.

"Where are your parents Petey" uncle Clint asks

"Dad is in their room and pops went for a run. They're kind of having a disagreement right now" I say

"About what" Uncle Rhodey asks

"Where to live. Pops wants to move back here but dad doesn't want to." I say

"Why doesn't Tony want to move back here? Hey cinnamon" pepper says walking in

"Hi Pepper. I don't know why dad doesn't want to move back here. I know pops wants to be here cause of you all and he wants you all to be in Sarah Maria's life but I don't know about dad" I say

"Wait, who's Sarah Maria" Uncle Falcon asks coming into the living room

"Everyone meet Sarah Maria May Stark. My baby sister. I found her in the park last night on patrol. We just adopted her" I say

"Where's Steve at" Uncle Bucky asks

"He went for a run. That's usually what he does when dad and him argue. He either runs or goes and sketches. Dad either wallows in the room or goes to his lab and takes suits apart and puts them back together again" I say

"Those two are so different from each other but they still love each other so much." Aunt Nat says

"Tony is a man of science and of the future. Steve is of the past and very traditional. He is also very sensitive and even though he gives off a tough persona when in the Captain America uniform he is still the young Steve Rogers before the serum which is why Bucky and Tony are protective over Steve" uncle Bruce says

"I'm protective over Steve because I don't want to lose him. We've both lost so much including each other and I don't want it to happen again" uncle Bucky says

"You still think of him as small Steve though" aunt Wanda says

"Stay out of my head witch. I've told you this before" uncle Bucky says

"Sorry. Your mind intrigues me" aunt Wanda says

"Alright we need to deal with this argument. Rhodey talk with Steve and Bucky talk with Tony" pepper says

"What? Why aren't I talking with Tony" uncle Rhodey asks

"Because. You know Tony. You can explain his logic to Steve and Bucky you can explain Steve's reasons to Tony. They don't need their best friends right now. They need each other and the only way to get to each other is from talking to someone who knows how the other one thinks. Cinnamon, you and I are going to introduce this cutie pie to her uncle Happy." Pepper says

"Okay. I haven't seen happy in a long time. How is he" I ask

"He's good. Now let's go. Boys go talk to the other two" Pepper says

They nod and walk off.
