*Tony POV*
As I wake up I grab my phone and look at the screen. It's noon. 6 hours of sleep. I look next to me and Steve isn't there.

"FRIDAY where is Steve and Peter" I ask

"Peter is watching a movie with everyone and Captain Rogers is in the lab. It appears he is looking for buccaneer" FRIDAY says

"Thank you" I say

I get out of bed and head to the lab. I get down there and see Steve struggling with how to work the technology. I go over to him and wrap my arms around him. He relaxes some and melts into my touch.

"Would you like some help" I ask

"Please" he says

"Alright. First you need to explain some things" I say

"Like what" he asks

"Well what happened with Fury" I ask

"Wanda got inside fury's head and found out that he sent us on the mission because he wanted to get rid of Bucky. He knew it was a suicide mission. He wanted Bucky to die" Steve says

"Okay. Why did Bucky then leave" I ask

"Because he asked why Fury didn't kill him while he was at S.H.I.E.L.D. and I said because Nat and Clint probably asked for him to come here to try and get me to act like myself. He then took it as I didn't like him and didn't want him here" He says

"Did you want him here" I ask

"Sort of" he says

"Alright. Let's find him" I say

"How" Steve asks

"I might have placed a really small tracker in his metal arm while he was here" I say

"Anthony" He scolds

"Sorry" I say

"I'll deal with that later. Just track him" he says

I nod and start messing with the screen. I do a few things and then the tracker pops up.

"Uh Steve it shows that he's on the roof" I say

Steve takes off and I run after him. We ride the elevator to the roof and step off.

"Bucky" Steve says

"Leave me alone Steven" Bucky says

"Buck We need to talk" Steve says

"We talked last night" Bucky says

"Let him talk Bucky." I say

"Stay out of this Stark. How did you find me anyways. I told FRIDAY to not tell people where I was" Bucky says

"FRIDAY didn't say anything. I tracked you" I say

"What" Bucky asks

"I think you should go and join the others Tony. We'll be down eventually" Steve says

I nod and return to the elevator.

*Steve POV*
Tony leaves and I go closer to Bucky. We sit down and it's quiet for awhile.

"Look Buck I'm sorry. It's not that I didn't want you here, I was scared. I was scared that things between us would change because of how you were brainwashed. You basically forgot who I was and everything we've been through yet I remembered it all I also remember you falling, me thinking you died and mourning your death. I remembered first going up against the winter soldier and finding out it was you. I remember every time I had to fight you." I say

"I'm sorry you had to go through that Steve. I guess I never really have thought about how it all affected you" Bucky says

"I'm also sorry that you had to go through all the torture of being brainwashed and forced to kill people. Good people" I say

"Are we good" Bucky asks

"We're good." I say

"Great. I saw some water guns up here, should we go bombard everyone" Bucky asks

"They might not like it. Oh well. Let's go" I say

"Let's take the stairs so they don't hear the elevator" Bucky says

"FRIDAY what is everyone doing" I ask

"They are all watching High School Musical sing along version" FRIDAY answers

"Who do you think chose that" Bucky asks

"Probably Tony. He secretly loves high school musical and most Disney movies" I say

"Doesn't surprise me" Bucky says

We grab the water guns and we fill them up. We then take the stairs to the main floor. We walk in, but before we can bombard Peter turns around. His spider senses. I motion for him to be quiet and come over. He excuses himself to the bathroom and comes over. I hand him one of my water guns and the three of us start shooting everyone. Some of them scream, some disappear, and others just sit there. We run out of water and we hi-five.

"Really Rogers? And you call all of us children" Nat says

"Yes because you guys are children. Plus, it wasn't my idea. It was Bucky's" I say

"Bulls*** Steve. I might have suggested it but you agreed to it" Bucky says

"Language James Buchanan Barnes" I scold

"I don't care Steven Grant Rogers" Bucky smirks

"Oh my gosh you sound like an old married couple" Clint says

"Sorry but he does have a boyfriend" Tony says

"What" Loki asks

"You never knew I thought Thor would've told you" Tony says

"Why would Thor tell him when he doesn't understand it himself" Sam asks

"Whatever. Loki, Steve and I are dating. We love each other" Tony says

"I see. I don't understand how my brother doesn't understand" Loki says

"Because your brother is dumb" Tony says

"He is blonde" Loki says

"Hey, I find that offensive" I say

"You don't fall into that stereotype babe. Well not completely" Tony says

"Hey" I pout

"Nice going Anthony. You made my Stevie sad"  Bucky glares

"Let's go Bucky. We're going to my art studio" I say

We go to the elevator and ride it to the lab. We step off and go in. We go over to my corner and once we walk in I shut the makeshift door.

"What happened in here" Bucky asks

I look around and see that it's a mess from early this morning.

"Oh yeah. This mess. I made this after our argument. I had a sketchbook with a lot of sketches I made of things that I remembered from the 40's. From us fighting together" I say looking at the ground

"I'm sorry Steve. I'm sorry I caused you to destroy you're sketches" he says

"It's alright. It's not your fault. I was mad at myself" I say

"Okay. Well what are we doing down here" Bucky asks

"Escaping the others" I say

"Why? FRIDAY what is everyone doing" Bucky asks

"Know it all and Scarlett are on their floor talking. Strongest avenger is in his lab. Daggers and Bird brain are training. Mischief, Point Break, and dodo bird are on the main floor watching a movie. Mister Stark and Peter went on an errand with Colonel. Miss Potts is also at the tower in her office." FRIDAY says

"Thank you FRIDAY" Bucky says

"You're welcome buccaneer" FRIDAY Says

"Can you change my name to Bucky" Bucky asks

"Sorry only Mister Stark or Captain Rogers can assign names" FRIDAY says

"Steve" Bucky pleads

"FRIDAY please change the name buccaneer to
Roses" I say

"Name has been changed" FRIDAY answers

"Steve" Bucky groans

"What? You asked me to change the name and I changed it. Now since everyone is doing their own thing what should we do" I ask

"We could get Sam to go on a run with us" Bucky smirks

"I like your thinking" I say

"FRIDAY please tell dodo bird that Steve is requesting his presence outside the tower" Bucky says

"He would like to know why" FRIDAY Says

"Tell him I want to spy on Peter and Tony and see what they are doing on their errand" I say

"He says he'll meet you outside" FRIDAY responds

"Really? That's all it takes" Bucky asks

"Sam likes to be nosy and up in everyone's business" I say

"He seems a lot like Clint" Bucky says

"Yeah. It's not a good thing when they're together" I say

"When who's together" Clint asks dropping down from the vents

"S***. What the heck are you doing up there Clint" Bucky asks

"Language" I say

"You're worried about my language and not the archer that just jumped down from the vents" Bucky says

"Yes because it's normal. He's always in the vents. Tony hates it. Now Clint I could tell Tony you were in his vents and his lab and then he'll block off more of the vents or you can tell me where tony and Pete went to" I say

"You wouldn't" Clint gasps

"Oh I would. Gosh, I sound so much like Tony and you Bucky. I need better influencers" I say

"I don't know what they were going for but Tony said something about going to downtown and to the stores looking for something specific" Clint says

"Thank you. Now go and never let me catch you in the vents above his lab again" I say

"Roger that Captain" he says and scurries away

"Wow. Now we better go to Sam before he gives up on waiting" Bucky says

"Alright" I say

We take the elevator to the lobby of the tower and then walk outside. We get out there and Sam is waiting for us.

"Ready" I ask

"Of course. Why didn't you ask me to meet you at the Garage" Sam asks

"Because. The fresh air is good for you" Bucky says

"Fine" Sam groans

We start walking and once we get to a park with a walking path we stop.

"So I realized that we've missed a lot of our daily runs. I wanted to start that back up again and Bucky wanted to come as well. So I'll see you on your left Sam" I say

I take off running and I look behind me to see the other two start running as well. Eventually Bucky picks up his pace and catches up to me while Sam is still behind us. We soon catch up to him and split ways.

"On your left" I say

"On your right" Bucky tells him

We continue running and doing this for awhile until Sam gets annoyed.

"You two planned that didn't you" Sam asks

"Maybe." I say

"Whatever. Let's head back to the tower. Someone needs to start making dinner" Sam says

Bucky and I agree and we start heading back.

*Tony POV*
Once Steve and Bucky headed to the lab I asked Peter to run an errand with me and he agreed.

"Where are we going dad" He asks

"To downtown. I need to get something" I say

"Get what" he asks

"I'll tell you in the car. There's too many ears here in the tower" I say

"Okay" he says

We go down to the garage and get in one of the cars. I start driving and once we get to downtown I park the car then pull my phone out.

"I want to get something like this for him. Will you help me find it" I ask showing him a picture

"Yes" he cheers

We get out of the car and I put my hood up on my hoodie and sunglasses on.

"You go out with pops and you don't wear a disguise but you come with me and you wear one" Peter asks

"It's because I don't want this thing that I'm doing right now to get broadcasted in the news and ruin the surprise" I say

"Okay. Pops still doesn't like it when you don't wear a disguise when out with him. You know he hates big crowds and you draw in a lot of people" He says

"I do not" I say

"Really Dad? Yes you do. Everyone wants to know what the Tony Stark is up to. All the time. There's always at least one reporter trying to get up to the living quarters every day" He says

"Whatever Underoos. Let's go" I say

We get out of the car and head to the store that I need. We walk in and look around. After an hour of looking i finally find what I need.

"Underoos, do you think he'll like this one" I ask

Peter comes over and examines it. He then nods and smiles.

"He'll love it. When are you going to give it to him" he asks

"I was thinking tonight. We haven't been on a date in a while so I figured we'd go out for dinner and I'd give it to him then" I say

"Okay" he says

"Wait Underoos is it a good idea" I ask

"I think it's a great idea dad. Calm down and relax. You look so stressed. Now pay for it and let's get going pops is going to be making dinner soon so you need to get someone else to make it so the two of you can go out" He says

"Alright" I say

I pay for the item and then we head out. We get back to the tower and Nat is working on dinner.

"Where's Steve" I ask

"Him, Bucky, and Sam went somewhere" She says

Just as I'm going to say something they walk in.

"Where were you three at" Nat asks

"They forced me to go on a run" Sam says

"Get over it" Bucky says

"Hey Steve, you wanna go out tonight" I ask

"Okay" He smiles

"Great. Get a shower and dress nice then meet me in the garage" I say

"Okay" he says

He walks off to his room and Bucky glares at me.

"What" I ask

"What do you have planned Stark" he asks

"Something. don't worry I'm not going to hurt him" I say

"Alright. Hey bambi you want to go watch a movie" Bucky says

"Okay. Can we watch the jungle book" Peter asks

"Of course" Bucky says

They walk off and I go to my room. I get dressed in a suit and put the surprise in my pocket. I say goodbye to everyone and then head down to the garage. I get down there and Steve is standing next to the Camaro.

"Hey, you look nice" I say

"As do you, as always" he smiles

We get in the car and I drive out of the garage.

"So where are we going" Steve asks

"Dinner" I say

"Yes Stark I know that. But where" He asks

"Somewhere" I say

"You're a jerk" He says

"I know Capsicle" I smirk

He shakes his head and looks out his window. After fifteen minutes we arrive and I stop the car.

"The diner? You had me dress up nice for the diner" Steve groans

"Yes. I like it when you dress up nice" I say

"Tony we're going to be the only ones dressed up" he says

"Oh well. Now get out. We're going to eat" I say

"Why did we come here" He asks

"Because this is our place" I say

"Alright. Let's go" he says

We get out and meet at the front of the car. I grab his hand and we walk inside. We go to our usual table and sit down. As soon as we sit down a waitress comes over. We order our food and then start talking.

"So what are we going to do now that we are no longer taking orders from Fury" I ask

"Well we'll still go on missions. I'll just get them from Sharon or we'll find out via the news" Steve says

"It was that bad with Fury" I ask

"He betrayed my trust Too many time Tony" He says

"With the whole Bucky thing" I ask

"Not only that. When I woke up from being frozen he put me in a room to resemble to 40's because he didn't want me to freak out. I freaked out because I thought I should've been dead or at least should've seen Peggy's face. He lied to me about the time period. He lied to me about a few other things. I then thought that he sent Bucky to the tower because he wanted Bucky to fit in like I did, but he wanted Bucky dead" He says

"I'm sorry Steve. I know I keep saying it and sorry doesn't cut it for the way you feel but I really am" I say

"It's okay Tony. I'm just glad that I have all of you in my life. You all are my family. I don't know what I would do without all of you" He says

"Diddo" I say

Our food arrives and we start eating. As we eat we hold a small conversation. After eating I pay for our food and we head out to the car. I start it up and drive to a park close to the tower. I get out and Steve just looks at me.

"Come on. We don't get a lot of time alone. There's so many people in the tower." I say

"Fine" he says

He gets out and we hold hands. We start walking and take in the silence. Twenty minutes into the walk I stop and grab the thing in my pocket.

"Steve, you are the best thing that has happened to me in a long time. I know there was a long time where we hated each other, mostly me hating you but I'm glad we got over our differences. You make me so much happier and more relaxed. You have made me a better person and for that I thank you. You might be a Capsicle and stuck in the 40's but that's what I love about you. You teach me about how those times were and how great they are and I get to introduce you to the new and useful technology. I know we haven't been dating long, but we've known each other for a while. So Steven Grant Rogers will you marry me" I ask

"Yes Anthony Edward Stark. Of course I will" He smiles

I kiss his lips passionately and slip the ring onto his finger.

"I love you" Steve whispers

"I love you too" I say

We kiss again and then walk back to the car. We get in and Steve drives back to the tower. We take the elevator to the main floor and as soon as we step off Peter runs over to us.

"So?" He asks

Steve nods and Peter cheers. He starts dancing around like a goof.

"What's got pancake in such a good mood" Rhodey asks

"Something good" Vision says

"No duh android" Rhodey says

"I know" Wanda smirks

"Tell us" Clint says

"It's not my thing to tell" Wanda says

She walks off and returns to the living room.

"Why is the kid so happy" Bruce asks

"Because we're no longer dating" Steve smiles

"How can you be happy" Bucky asks glaring at me

"Bucky, relax. He didn't break up with me" Steve laughs

"Anthony" Rhodey scolds

"James" I mock

"How dare you not tell your best friend" Rhodey says

"I'm telling you now aren't I" I ask

"What am I missing" Bucky asks

"Can I just tell them dad" Peter asks coming back over

"Go ahead Underoos" I say

"Dad proposed to Pops and pops said yes. They're engaged" Peter says

"Congrats. Maybe Bruce will finally propose" Clint smirks

"Oh yeah, I already did. I proposed two nights ago" Bruce says

"Really Nat? Another secret? Why do you two keep hiding these things from us? You're not hiding a pregnancy or a child that already born right" Clint says

"No clint. There's no child. We hide these things because it's fun" Nat says

"Congratulations you two. You deserve happiness" Bruce says

"Yeah" Nat says

"Good for you guys" Sam says

"You never asked for my blessing Stark" Bucky says

"You're not his father" I say

"Yeah but I'm like his brother and in the 40's if the dad wasn't around you always asked the older brother or younger brother for a blessing" Bucky says

"Shut up Bucky." Steve says pushing Bucky

"But what if I don't think he's good enough for you Stevie" Bucky says

"I know I'm not good enough for him" I say

"Oh hush Anthony. If anyone isn't good enough for someone it's me. You're too good for me" Steve pouts

"You look adorable with that pout" I tease

"And this is where I leave. Hey bambi you're sleeping in my room tonight" Bucky says

"Actually Pops already said I could go to Neds" Peter says

"No I didn't" Steve says

"Yes you did" I mumble

"Anthony" Steve scolds

"Get over it." I say

Everyone heads to their floor and Steve and I go to his room. We get in bed and pull the covers over us. I look over at Steve and he's playing with the ring on his finger.

"Do you like it?" I ask

"I love it almost as much as I love you" He says

"Good. I wanted to get one that was red white and blue since you're captain America" I say

"Well it's amazing." He says

I move closer to him and he wraps his arm around me.

"I love you Steven" I whisper

"I love you Anthony" he whispers back

I then drift off to sleep in the warmth of my fiancé's arms.
