*Natasha POV*

Tony left for London not too long ago and now it is just me, Rhodey, Bruce, and Vision.

"I'm worried about the three of them" Bruce says

"Same" I say

"Why" Vision asks

"They all have been through so much. I mean the three of them being together might help some, but they are all so stubborn and don't realize how much they really do need each other" Rhodey says

"What have they gone through" Vision asks

"Vision, shouldn't you know about Tony and Steve because you were once JARVIS" Rhodey asks

"Yes, But I do not know if I know everything. Some things could have happened to them after I became Vision" He says

"Well Peter has lost practically everyone in his life. Steve has lost a lot of people in his life multiple times and no one can really relate to all the trauma he has been through" I say

"And Tony has always had a lot of problems and they come and go. They are still the same problems as before. Just a bit more extreme" Bruce says

"Oh" Vision says

"Aunt Nat" I hear

We all turn around and the others are stepping off the elevator.

"Yes Baby Spider" I ask

"Where's dad?" He asks

"Your pops called saying he needed your dad's help. Don't worry they should be back tomorrow. What all did you guys do?" I ask

"Stuff" Clint says

"Clint Barton" I threaten

"We didn't do anything dangerous or strenuous" Sam says

"For some reason I don't believe you" I say

"Relax Nat. I'm sure they were fine. Besides, Bucky was there and he would never let anyone hurt Peter. He is almost as protective of Peter as Steve and Tony are" Rhodey says

"Is that a bad thing" Bucky asks

"No. It means that you are back to normal. That you are no longer controlled and far from being able to be controlled." I say

"It's a good thing Uncle Bucky" Peter says

"Thanks Bambi. Now what are we going to do until dinner and until you need to head to bed" Bucky asks

"We can go bother Pepper" Peter says

"How about no. She's probably busy" I say

"We could annoy Bruce" Clint says

"No. Tony would have your head if you made the hulk come out. Only if Nat didn't kill you first" Rhodey says

"We could just watch movies" Sam says

"I agree with uncle Falcon" Peter says

"What do you want to watch bug" Wanda asks

"I don't care." Peter says

"Ooh can we watch a Disney movie. Please" Clint begs

"No. Because you want to watch Bambi or dumbo and those are sad movies" I say

"Woah, Romanoff has a soft side" Sam says

I glare at him and he throws his hands up in surrender.

"Let's watch Aladdin" Peter says

"Okay" Bruce says

Bruce turns the movie on and we all take our seats.

*Peter POV*
After watching some movies and dinner and a few more movies they send me to bed. I get ready for bed and drift off to sleep. However, I don't stay like that for long. I soon shoot you in bed panting and sweating. I look at my phone and it's 2 in the morning. Only two hours of sleep. Ugh. I pull out my phone and go to my favorites. I click on a number and it starts ringing.

S-hello?
P-pops?
S-Pete? It's only two in the morning in New York. What are you doing up
P-I couldn't sleep
S-did you have a nightmare
P-yeah
S-ok. Hold on. Give me a minute... I'm back. Sorry I was next to your dad but he's still asleep.
P-did I wake you? I can let you get back to sleep
S-you didn't wake me Pete. Even if you did I'd always be willing to listen. So what's the matter?
P-um never mind
S-Peter please. I want to help you
P-I don't think you'll like what my nightmare was about
S-Alright. Your dad and I will be home by 10. Maybe sooner. When we get back you and I are having a talk.
P-Okay. I love you pops
S-I love you too. Try to get some sleep.
P-I don't think I'll be able to
S-Alright. Well I don't want you to be alone so go to Sam or Bucky because they are probably awake.
P-how do you know
S-Sam doesn't sleep well because he has trouble adjusting to normal beds and Bucky struggles every once in a while with sleep because he thinks back to what hydra did to him.
P-oh. Okay. I'll go see if one of them is awake. What floor is each of them on?
S-they're both on floor 29. Now I better wake up your dad so we can head out
P-okay

I hang up and get out of bed. I wrap my comforter around me and walk to the elevator. I press for floor 29, the floor below us and once I arrive I start walking through. I pass a room and see uncle Rhodey sound asleep. I pass another room and uncle Falcon is also asleep. I get to the last bedroom and I see the light on. I knock on the door frame then walk in.

"What are you doing up Bambi" uncle Bucky asks

"I couldn't sleep. I had a nightmare. Pops and I talked some but he didn't want me to be alone so he said I could come to your room because you'd probably be awake. Is this okay" I ask

"Of course Bambi. Come here" he says

I go over to his bed and sit down next to him. He turns his tv on and puts on Full House. I must have fallen asleep because the next thing I know I'm getting shaken awake. I open my eyes and see pops.

"Hi pops. What time is it" I ask

"It's 11:30 Pete" he says

"Oh" I say

"Come on" he says

I grab his hand and we walk to the stairs. We walk down to the next floor and we walk to a conference room.

"Why are we here" I ask

"Because you and I need to talk and Pepper told me that no one should be on this floor today besides her and if we are on this floor I know none of the others will bother us because they never come to the business floors" he says

"Oh okay. What do we need to talk about" I ask

"I think you know what" he says

"Oh. My nightmare." I say

"Yeah and I can tell it wasn't about your parents, aunt, or uncle" he says

"You're right it wasn't" I say

"Come on Pete. Please talk to me. It's not gonna get better if you don't talk about it." He says

*Steve POV*
I look at Pete and he's playing with his hands. I lay my hand on top of his and he looks at me with tears in his eyes.

"I saw these guys messing with weapons and I stopped them. Sort of. Then they appeared again. I kept on having to face them and at one point, the one guy had enough and when we were in an abandoned building he made it fall on top of me. So every once in a while I have a nightmare about it. It has also caused me to become claustrophobic." Pete says

"Pete I'm so sorry you had to go through that alone. I'm so sorry no one was there to help you out of that mess or even help you with the nightmares." I say

"It's okay. I mean I only get them a few times a month" he says

"How many months ago did this happen" I ask

"Five" he says

"Oh Pete. Wait, why didn't you want to tell me this" I ask

"I figured once you found out that it was while I was on patrol you wouldn't let me do it anymore" he says

I wipe his tears away and pull him into a hug.

"Hey Pete, yeah I'm a little upset and scared that it happened while you were on patrol but I know it is something you love to do and it gives you purpose in your life so I'm not going to stop you. But I will still be very protective and I might tell you no to some things that you want to do" I say

"Okay" he says

"You ready to head back to the others? I know your dad is really looking forward to working on your suit with you" I say

"Okay. Is anyone's birthday coming up soon" he asks

"Yes. Why" I ask

"I want to celebrate" he says

"What's the real reason" I ask

"I want cake" he says

"Well your Uncle Bucky turns 101 in three days" I say

"You two are so old" he says

"Watch it mister I can ground you" I say

Peter goes to the wall and climbs it till he's on the ceiling.

"You can't ground me if I'm not on the ground" he says

"Yes I can. Now get down here and let's go back to the others" I say

Peter drops and I catch him. I walk to the elevator with him in my arms and go to the main floor. Once the elevator stops I step off and walk to the living room. I go and sit down next to Tony on a couch and Peter gets off my lap.

"Alright Underoos, you ready to go work on your suit" Tony asks

"Yeah" Pete says

"You coming to the lab Steve" Tony asks

"Wait, he gets to go to the lab but I can't" Clint asks

"Yes because you are reckless. I also created an art studio for him in one of the corners" Tony says

"I'm good Tony. I think I'm gonna go to the gym or go for a run" I say

"Alright. Just don't break more than three punching bags a day" Tony says

"No promises" I say

"Steven Grant, you break more than three in a day and I will no longer buy punching bags and I will make sure no one buys punching bags for the gym" Tony threatens

"Fine. I'll go for a run" I mumble

He gives me a sad smile, but him and Pete head to the lab.

"Let's go Steve" Bucky says

"Where" I ask

"Just come" he says

I sigh but get up from the couch and follow Bucky. We go to my room and he closes and locks the door. We sit on the bed in silence for a bit.

"He really cares about you and worries about you" Bucky says

"Who" I ask

"Who? Tony of course. You are the love of his life and I know he is the love of your life. You both care deeply about each other but you won't go to each other with your problems. Especially you. I know you've gone through a lot and I know you think no one can relate but people can" He says

"Like who" I ask

"For starters me. We have both gone through traumatic stuff. We were in the forty's and when we came back to it we were in the 2010's. We're still trying to adjust to the time period. The things we experienced in the forty's were also traumatic. Tony can relate to you because he lost his parents at a young age. We are here for you Steve you just need to talk to us" he says

"That's the thing though. You guys dealt with similar things. You guys are going through your own stuff and I don't want to bother you with my stuff. Me, I'm just a nobody. I'm a kid from Brooklyn that no one should be paying attention to" I say

"Why won't you get it in your head that you are not just some kid from Brooklyn Steven? You are much more than that. You are not worthless. So many people care about you and want to be there for you but you shut them out. If you would let down your walls you would see how much people want to help you. Keep your walls up if you want, but if you do it will probably bring an end to your relationship with Tony and maybe even our friendship" he says getting up

"Wait Bucky don't go" I say

He comes back and sits back down.

"Yeah" he asks

"I went to London. I woke up early like really early to a nightmare. It was about the crash. I didn't want to bother anyone and I also made me really miss Peggy so I went to her grave just to feel her presence" I say

"I figured that's where you went. How many years has it been since the crash" he asks

"It will be 73 years in May. It's been two years since she passed" I say

"I'm sorry Steve. I know I can't relate to you there and I don't know if anyone can relate to you in that aspect but I'm sure it pains you" he says

"Yeah" I sigh

"Where are yours and Peggy's dog tags? You never take them off" he says

"I finally got my dance with her. Tony and I danced at a club and then before we left we went to her grave and danced again. While there I also buried our tags so that we are together." I smile

"That's really sweet" Bucky smiles

I go to say something but there's a knock on the door. I go over to it and Peter and tony are standing there both covered in fire retardant.

"What happened" I ask

"We started a fire" Peter laughs

"How" I ask

"We were working on Peter's suit and then worked on upgrading mine some. We were welding and it got a little out of control." tony says

"Oh what am I going to do with the two of you" I ask

"Give us a hug" Pete suggests

"Nope I don't think so." I say

I close and lock the door.

"Go clean the lab and take a shower and then maybe you'll get a hug. Both of you" I threaten

I hear them run off and Bucky laughs.

"They're your mess" he says

"Yeah but I love them" I say

"I know you do. That's a good thing. It means that you're heart is finally realizing that it's okay to love again" he says

"Yeah. I guess so" I say

"Anthony Edward Stark and Peter Benjamin Parker" We hear Nat yell

"Should we go check on them" Bucky asks

"Probably" I say

We get up and walk out to the living room. We get out there and see Nat also covered in fire retardant. I glare at Peter and Tony and they run towards the stairs.

"Why is everyone so scared of you" Bucky asks

"Because I don't get mad or angry often, but when I do I'm very calm about it and it is apparently very frightening and intimidating" I say

"Yeah I don't see it. I always just see small Steve" Bucky says

"He's also like the only one not afraid of me" Nat says

"That's because you are strong and independent. Peggy was the same way. He didn't back down from Peggy so he's not going to back down from you. Women like you aren't threatening to him" Bucky says

"That makes sense" Nat says

Peter and Tony come back into the room wearing clean clothes.

"Did you actually clean the lab or did you just shower and change on a different floor" I ask

"Why do we have to clean it" Tony asks

"Because you guys made the mess. Now go. No dinner until the lab is cleaned. S***" I say

"Language" Tony smirks

"Not now stark" I glare

I run down the stairs to the lab and run over to my corner and sigh in relief.

"You okay" Peter asks

"Yeah. I was just making sure that you two didn't destroy my stuff but my corner is far enough away from where you two were working and apparently Dum-e likes me and knows to stay away from my stuff" I say

"Wow he's a traitor" Tony says

"Get over it. You are the one that called it Dum-e" I say

"Whatever" Tony says

"Alright you two clean. I'm gonna sketch. I'm giving you two hours to clean the mess. I'm sure you can do it" I say

The two of them grumble but walk away. I laugh to myself and sit down at the desk. I grab my sketch pad and pencil and start sketching. After the two hours I go over to the two of them and see that they are working on Peter's suit again.

"Alright you two ready for dinner" I ask

"Yeah" Peter says

"Are the others eating with us" Tony asks

"Uh Nat and Bruce went on a date; Clint, Wanda, Vision, and Rhodey went out for dinner. So it is just the three of us, Sam, and Bucky. Pepper also said she might join us for dinner" I say

"Okay. What are we having" Tony asks

"I haven't decided yet" I say

"Spaghetti" Peter shouts

"Pete, what have I said about the shouting" I say

"Not to. Sorry pops" He says

"It's okay but next time it happens there's going to be trouble" I say

We go to the elevator and we ride it to the main floor. Once we arrive Peter goes and joins Sam and Bucky in the living room while Tony and I go to the kitchen. I fill a pot with water and set it on the stove top on high heat. Once that is done I sit on the counter and Tony sits next to me. He leans his head on my chest and I wrap my arm around him.

"This is nice" He says

"Ssh. Don't ruin the moment" I say

"What do you mean" He asks

Just after he asks my phone rings and I see that it's Fury.

S-Hello
N-Captain Rogers it is Nick Fury
S-I know. I saw on the called ID. I have you on speaker with Tony
N-okay
T-What do you want from us Fury
N-I heard about a new superhero a while back, but apparently he hasn't shown up in awhile and I want you guys to investigate
S-Who?
N-The name is Spider-Man
T-Um Fury we already know who he is and why he hasn't been around
N-What's the reason
S-It's Peter. Mine and Tony's adopted son. He's been having to take some breaks because of the last of his family passing away and the injuries he just got from school.
N-Wait. Spider-Man is a kid
T-yes. He's 15, turns 16 this year
N-oh gosh. Well if you two think it is alright I want him to be part of the avengers
S-We'll think about it. Did you have anything else for us
N-No. Have a good night
S-Same to you

"What do you think" Tony asks

"I don't know. I mean Pete enjoys being Spider-Man and going on patrol but being a part of the avengers is dangerous. What are your thoughts" I ask

"I think he can be an Avenger in training. He could go on some missions, but not all of them. And when he doesn't go on them one of the others can stay here with him or he can stay at Ned's or Pepper can stay with him" Tony says

"Alright. That works" I say

I finish up the spaghetti and then call the others to the table. We serve ourselves some food and start eating.

"Uh dad and pops, you know how you all keep joking about me and MJ" Pete asks

"Yes. What's the matter" I ask

"I think I really do like her" he says

"Awe" Tony says

"What am I supposed to do" Pete asks

"You are not going to get advice from them cinnamon" pepper says walking over to the table

She sits down next to Pete and across from Sam and serves herself some food.

"Tony does not know a lot about relationships. I doubt Sam there knows anything and Steve and Bucky are outdated" Pepper says

"Hey." I say

"Sorry Steve, but this isn't the '40s so romance now a days is a bit different" she says

"Whatever" I say

"So what do I do Pepper" Peter asks

"First off, do you really like her or do you think you like her" Pepper asks

"I really like her. I realized this when I found out she stuck up for me" he says

"Okay. Then you talk to her and tell her how you feel" she says

"When do I do that" he asks

"When will you see her" she asks

"He starts homeschool with her and Ned in a week, but if he wants I'm sure he could get together with her sooner than that" I say

"Perfect. Then you ask her to hang out somewhere that means a lot to the both of you and that is where you talk to her" she says

"Thanks pepper" Peter says

"You're welcome cinnamon. Does she know about you being Spider-Man" pepper asks

"Yeah. Both she and Ned know" Peter says

Pepper nods and continues eating. We all go back to eating and hold minimal conversation. After dinner and a few movies pepper leaves and Peter heads to bed. The others also come back.

"So Peter is an avenger in training now. Fury found out about him and told us it was our decision if he was an avenger or not" I say

"What does that exactly mean" Sam asks

"It means that he will go on some missions with us but not all of them" Tony says

"Does he know yet" Rhodey asks

"Nope. He won't find out until the first mission" I say

"Okay. So anything else happen" Nat asks

"Nope" I say

"You sure" she asks

"I'm positive" I say

"Tony" she smirks

"I can't" he says

"So something did happen" She gasps

"Anthony Stark" I scold

"Sorry Steven But she scares me. I don't know how you aren't scared of her" Tony says

"Oh James Barnes you wanna tell me what happened" Nat asks

"Nope" Bucky says

"Sam" Nat says

"Bruce do something" Sam says

"Nat leave them alone. If it was important and for us to know they would've told us" Bruce says

"But I want to know" Nat whines

"Nat, I'll make a deal with you" I say

"Okay" Nat says

"If you promise to cook all of the meals for the rest of the week, no take out then I'll tell you. I mean if people want take out we will do take out, but other then that you have to cook" I say

"That's like 15 meals" she says

"No deal? Okay" I say

I start walking to my room and then Nat stops me.

"Fine, you have a deal" she says

"Alright. I'll tell you. Do the others deserve to know" I ask

"Bruce does. Not sure about the others" she says

"Woah, I want to know" Rhodey says

"I could care less" Clint says

"Wanda you already know don't you" I ask

"No. I didn't mess with your brain" she says

"Tony do you think they all deserve to know" I ask

"I guess" tony says

"Alright. It's about Pete. He realized his feelings for MJ and is going to ask her out" I say

"Ooh Petey has a girlfriend" Clint says

"That's so sweet" Wanda gushes

"Wait, isn't MJ the girl that comes and hangs out here." Rhodey asks

"Yes" Tony says

"That's awesome" Nat says

"Alright everyone go to your floors and leave us alone until tomorrow morning" I say

"Why" Sam asks

"Because I'm tired. Any other questions" I ask

"No" everyone says

They all depart and then Tony and I walk hand in hand to his room.

"Why is everyone afraid of you and Nat" Tony asks

"Well you know why people are afraid of Nat. You're afraid of Nat" I say

"Okay. Well why are they afraid of you" he asks

"Don't say them. You're also scared of me. It's because I don't get mad and angry often. And when I do, I act very calm about it and if I do lash out, it means the situation is extremely bad. That is why you all are scared of me." I say

"Makes sense. You ready for bed" he asks

"I guess. I was gonna sketch some, but I guess I should sleep" I say

"Yeah. Let's go" he says

"I'll be in soon. I'm going to check on Pete. It's 2:30 in the morning. I'm gonna make sure he's asleep" I say

Tony nods and goes to the room. I go to Pete's room and open the door.

"Peter I know you're awake" I say

He rolls over and looks at me.

"How" he asks

"I could just tell. Why aren't you sleeping" I ask

"I'm scared too" he says

"You want to come sleep with me and your dad" I ask

"Can I" he asks

"Of course lets go" I say

Peter hops out of bed and we go to Tony's room. Peter crawls in next to Tony and I lay down next to Peter.

"He didn't want to sleep because he was scared so I told him he could sleep with us" I tell Tony before he can speak

"Okay" Tony yawns

Tony and I both wrap a protective arm around Peter and we all drift off to sleep.
