*3rd Person POV*
Anthony Edward Stark was known as many things by many people. By his dad he was known as Anthony Edward Stark, Tony, and a disgrace because he was nothing like Captain America. To his mom he was known as Anthony, Tony, son, and sweetie. She loved him and made up for all the love his father never gave him. To the world he is known as Tony Stark, Billionaire, Genius, and Iron Man. To Nick Fury he is Tony Stark and Iron Man. To most of the avengers he is known as Tony, Iron Man, and rich. To Captain America he was most of those things and a few more: arrogant, annoying, selfish, and the love of his life. Yes, You heard that right. Captain America loves Iron Man, but no one else knows that. Well no one besides you now.

Steven Grant Rogers, A.K.A. Captain America loves Tony Stark and has for quite some time. At first it was a surprise and he did not believe it. He thought it was just him growing to tolerate the billionaire, but it was really just his love flourishing for him. Gosh, Tony Stark is so arrogant and thinks that he knows everything. Why does Steve love him so much? That nickname capsicle is so annoying yet Steve finds it so endearing at times. However, there are a few problems. For starters, Tony is straight and dating Pepper Potts. Also, Tony hates Steve and the Avengers would probably find it weird and hate Steve for all of this. Lastly, Steve is way older than Tony. That is another thing that annoys both Steve and Tony. Steve gets annoyed when he doesn't understand the modern stuff Tony talks about and Tony hates that Steve still doesn't understand what he talks about.

Gosh, those two are so different and argue so much, but one of them loves the other one so much and doesn't realize that the other one feels the same way but is hiding it. Which one of them is doing the hiding?

*Tony POV*
I'm on a date with Pepper right now and I absolutely hate it. I know. I know. We are dating and I should be enjoying it, but I'm not. I'd rather be down in my lab and making new suits or upgrades. Right now Pepper is talking about something that happened at the office and all I can think about is the last mission I was on with the Avengers.

"Tony! Are you even listening to me" Pepper asks

"Sorry Pep, I was thinking about something. What did you say" I ask

"Well I was talking with a few of the others on the board of Stark Industry and we think there should be an internship program" she says

"And where would we get these interns from" I ask

"well they would be college students" She says

"How will they be chosen" I ask

"We were going to have them apply and then the board and I were going to choose five of them" She says

"Okay that's fine I also want a personal intern, but I want that one to be the smartest high schooler. I'm going to give you a math problem. Send it out and whoever can solve it becomes my intern" I say

"What if more than one person gets it right" she asks

"That's not going to happen" I say

"Alright. Well if you get me an equation when we get back to the tower I will send it out and tell them they are due on Wednesday so that gives kids two days to do it." Pepper responds

"Sounds good" I Say

I then return to eating and start thinking about what equation I should give.

*Steve POV*
Right now I am sitting in the living room with the other avengers minus Stark and we are watching something on the TV. I don't know what they are watching because well I'm not use to their shows and movies. They all make fun of me for it, but who cares.

"Where is Tony at" I ask

"Him and Pepper went on a date. He did leave us money for takeout if you want to order food for us" Natasha says

"No thanks. I'm going to go to the gym" I say

"No you aren't Steve. You are going to sit down, pay attention to the tv, and learn how to enjoy these shows. We aren't even watching any of the newer ones" Clint states

"Even I am enjoying this picture moving thing" Thor says

"Yeah well they get you hooked on a lot of their stupid things" I say

"Lets go Cap either sit here and watch Boy Meets World or go order us dinner" Natasha says

"Fine Nat I'll watch" I say

I sit down and she walks off. she comes back a few minutes later and sits down next to me.

"What did you order" Bruce asks

"Shawarma" she responds

"Without Stark? That's risky" I say

"He won't know unless we tell him" She says

"Come on Nat, You know he'll smell it as soon as he steps into the building" Clint says

"The man of Iron sure does love his Shawarma" Thor says

"Okay, Okay I get it. Big mistake. It's his fault for going on a date with pepper" she says

"Yeah." I sigh

"Man you okay" Bruce asks

"what" I ask

"You sound disappointed" Clint states

"I'm going to the gym" I say

They all go to interject but I glare at them and they quickly shut up. I go to the gym and wrap my hands then start punching the bag. After a good hour and going through three bags I stop. I turn around and see Nat. I sit on the bench and start unwrapping my hands and she joins me.

"Aright, what is causing you to destroy three punching bags in an hour?" she asks

"Nothing." I say

"Steven" she glares

"FRIDAY, Please put us on privacy mode." I say

"Privacy Mode on Capsicle" She replies

"that guy" I grin

"Wait this is all about Tony" Nat asks

"Yes?" I respond

"Is that a question or an answer" she asks

"OK, Fine. I like Tony. I have liked him for a year now. I mean you already know I'm gay, but yeah I love Tony. At first I thought I hated him which I did, but it then seemed like he was growing on me, then I realized I liked him because every time he called me capsicle I would blush" I say

"Steve that's so sweet" she says

"Yeah well it's not going to happen. So whenever I start feeling this way I come here and punch to forget them. Or I jog forever" I say

"Why won't it happen" She asks

"Because he is with Pepper" I say

"The food has arrived" FRIDAY interrupts

"Thank you" I say

I get up from the bench and walk out of the gym with Nat following me.

"Go eat. I'm going to shower then I will be out. Make sure that Thor doesn't eat my share. Also, I promise we will discuss more about this later" I tell her

she nods and heads towards the kitchen. I go to my room and head to my bathroom. I take my shower and then throw on a white t-shirt and some sweatpants. I tuck my dog tags into my shirt and make sure that Peggy's tags that were sent to me are on my wrist. Yes, I know why am I wearing her tags? Well it's simple. I got them two years ago when she passed away. She was and always will be my first love. I wear them to remember her. This way, when I finally do go to a dance I will finally get my dance with her. I go out to the kitchen and grab a plate of food then join the others at the table.

"So who won this time around Steve? You or the bag" Clint asks

"Me. All three times" I say

"Hey Steve, If you want I can give you tips on how to control your anger" Bruce says

"Thanks but no thanks" I Say

"Captain I would like to challenge you to a match. Who can destroy the most punching bags" Thor states

"We'd have to ask Tony" I say

"Ask me what capsicle" I hear

We all turn and see Tony and Pepper standing there.

"FRIDAY, you were supposed to warn me when Tony was coming" Natasha says

"There was no need. I could smell the Shawarma as soon as I walk in. Now what am I being asked" Tony questions

"Man of Iron could Captain and I have a competition to see who can destroy the most punching bags in an hour" Thor asks

"No" Tony says

"Why" Thor asks

"Because why waste money on punching bags for you to destroy when I already know that Steve would win" Tony states

"You think I would win" I ask

"Of course. I keep count of how many punching bags you destroy. Lets see here, Today is Sunday, so only day one of the week and you have destroyed six punching bags" He says

"Nine. I had a session of three before dinner" I mumble

"Nine!?" Natasha gasps

"Wow a new record" Tony says impressed

"Hey Tones, I'm going to head out, thanks for the equation and dinner. I'll send you the stuff as I get it" Pepper says

she gives him a kiss and then leaves. Tony sits down next to me and stares at my food. I set my fork down and slide it over to him.

"You sure" He asks

"Yeah. I'm not really hungry anymore. In fact I think I'm gonna head to bed" I say

"OH okay" he says

I get up from the table and go to my room. I close the door and lay on the bed. There's a knock on the door so I go and open it. Natasha and Clint are standing there. I step aside and they walk in.

"What is Clint doing here Nat" I ask

"FRIDAY, Privacy Mode" Natasha says

FRIDAY signals that it is on and we all take a seat.

"I know that you like Tony" Clint says

"How" I ask glaring at Natasha

"She didn't tell me. I already knew you were gay because you told me and I could always see you blush when Tony called you capsicle" he says

"Oh" is all I say

"It's okay Cap. I'm happy for you. I know you were heartbroken when you woke up and realized that you missed the date with Peggy and even more heart broken when she died. I'm happy that your heart is wanting to love someone again. You deserve to be happy" Clint says

"I don't really deserve to be happy but thanks" I say

"You do deserve to be happy. You have gone through so much and deserve some good in your life" Natasha says

"Wait, how do you know about all this stuff" I ask

"Fury told us about you and gave us your whole life story before you joined" Clint nonchalantly states

"Wow great. Who else knows" I ask

"No one" Natasha says

"I expect it to stay that way" I glare

"It will. We promise." Clint rushes

We turn off the privacy protocol and the two of them leave. I get ready for bed and then drift off to sleep.
