Len's POV:

I went to Miku's house early. Was it normal to be this nervous? I can't believe she actually said yes! Maybe Emi did know a thing or two...

I knocked on the door and Miku opened it right away. Her hair was up in their usual twin-tails and she was wearing a pretty white dress. 

"Hi Len!" She smiled and came outside. "Ready?"

"Um...uh huh...you look really nice." I stammered. My gosh when did I start sounding like such an idiot?

"Thanks! You look nice too. I'm actually really excited!" Her eyes sparkled with childish delight.

I remembered something. "Oh...uh here!" I gave her a small box. She opened it and slipped the corsage bracelet thing that was inside onto her wrist. Then she took my hand and we walked to the school.

Rin's POV:

Mikuo was a little late but he picked me up in his car. I was wearing a beautiful dress from a this collection called Magnet. I wanted to get the black one but some annoying person grabbed it first. So I was wearing a white dress with pink ribbons.

"Hey Rin!" He greeted as I climbed into the passenger seat. "You look great!"

"Thanks! You don't look so bad yourself." I smiled.

When we reached the school and he parked, I jumped out of the car. "Let the spying begin!" I cried.

Mikuo sighed. "Sure thing boss."

"OOOOOO! BOSS!? I like the sound of that!" I smirked. I grabbed his arm and we burst inside. Well I burst inside, Mikuo's entrance was more of a f FALL inside kind of thing.

Some dude walked up to us. "Hey Mikuo. So this is your date?" He smiled. "Hi I'm Fukase, Mikuo's best friend."

I took his hand and shook it. "Kon'nichiwa! Watashinonamaeha Kagamine Rindesu." (A/N: I used google translate so...If there's a mistake there...SORRY!)

"Um...oookaaaay?" Fukase glanced at Mikuo who was smirking at him.

"Oh yeah sorry, forgot to tell you. Her name is Rin Kagamine and she only speaks Japanese."

"Oh...well can she understand me?" Fukase asked.

"Hai! Wakarimashita!" I cried.

"That means Yes, I understand." Mikuo translated.

"Okay well remind me to have google translate out if I ever don't have Mikuo here to translate for me." Fukase laughed.

"Hai!" I nodded.

Fukase rolled his eyes at Mikuo and then walked off. I smiled at Mikuo. "That was fun!"

"Yeah...let's swear at him next time he comes over."

"YASSS!" I yelled. Then looked around to see if Fukase had heard that, but he was nowhere in sight. However, I saw someone else that grabbed my attention. "Mikuo! It's Len!" I whispered.

"Oh lovely." Mikuo sighed, but I was already dragging him over.

I peeked over the shoulder of some people...darn my shortness, but I only caught a glimpse of who he was with.

"Mikuo can you see who he's with?" I asked.

"Uh huh." He gulped.

"WHAT!? WHO IS IT!" I cried.

"M...Miku..." He replied. Then people moved and I saw her standing there with him. They were talking and laughing. Then Miku turned and saw me. 

"Hey Rin! Mikuo! Come on over!" She called.

I mechanically walked over. "Y...you...I...Len...WHA!?"

"Uh oh...Rin's broken." Len smiled.

"NO I'M NOT! YOU IDIOT! YOU DIDN'T TELL ME YOU WERE DATING MIKU!" I yelled.

"I tried to tell you earlier today." Miku laughed.

"Da...da...da...da...WHAAAA!?" 

"Yup! Rin's totally broken." Len smirked. "Miku you said you dropped off banana cupcakes earlier... right?"

Miku laughed. "Yeah they're right over here!" She took Len by the hand and led him off.

I stood and stared after them.

"Heyo...you okay?" Mikuo waved his hand in front of my face.

I looked at him. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" I screamed, gaining the attention of the whole school for a minute.

He covered his ears. "Rin what the heck!?"

"ERMIGOSHMYSHIP! MIKUOIT'SMYSHIP! ITHOUGHTLENWASCHEATINGBUT..."

"Okay slow down and speak english." Mikuo clapped his hand over my mouth.

I raised my eyebrows and he quickly took it off. He knew what would happen if he kept his hand there.

"Okay...well I TOTALLY thought that Len and Miku should get together. And then Len said he was going with some GIRL! I thought he was CHEATING on Miku or something...BUT NOW!!!"

Then I caught Fukase approaching out of the corner of my eye. So I switched back to Japanese.

"Ano futari, tsukiatteru mitai!" I squealed. 

Mikuo nodded his head. "Yeah I bet they are."

"Bet they are what?" Fukase asked standing near us.

"Miku! Len!" I cried.

"She's saying that Miku and Len look like they're probably dating." Mikuo translated.

"Ah." Fukase nodded. "That language barrier must be hard for you." He smiled at me.

"Kutabare!" I smiled.

Mikuo snickered quietly. This was going to be fun...

Miku's POV:

Len ate maybe three or four cupcakes before I finally got him to stop. "It isn't fair for everyone else!" I had said.

"It isn't fair to ME. You made them for ME." He smiled.

"Well I can make them for YOU whenever you want." I laughed. "Now stop or you are seriously going to get fat."

Len smirked. "Well then that's your fault."

Ilsie passed by. "My GOSH you guys flirt terribly."

"I WASN'T FLIRTING!" I cried.

"I was!" Len beamed as Ilsie rolled her eyes and walked off.

"Leeennnn." I whined.

"Hi guys!" A voice called cheerfully.

Then we heard a scream. The whole room paused.

"Oh thats just Rin. Her brain is starting to work again." Len explained.

"Mhmmm..." I was concerned.

We turned and saw Emi. She was smiling brighter than any of the lights in the whole gym. "So you guys are finally together?" She asked.

"Yup. You totally set us up." Len sighed.

Emi smiled deviously. "It made the perfect story. Besides it was so obvious you guys liked each other!"

"What about you Emi?' I asked. "Did you come with anyone?"

"Nope!" Emi smiled cheerfully. "Just me. I didn't want to come but I came just to see if you two had come together." Then she ran off.

Len rolled his eyes at me. "She's the one that told me to ask you out at first."

I laughed. "And she told me to accept, saying I was hurting your feelings."

"Well...you were kind of hurting my feewings." Len smirked.

"Why are you being so weird tonight?" I asked. 

"Because tonight I feel flirty with my beautiful girlfriend. It's a mood so it will probably go away later." Len replied.

"Weirdo." 

"I'm sick of the music." Len grimaced. "Let's go to the park."

"Sure! I hate school dances." I walked off with him. We went straight to the park and sat down on a bench.

"Isn't it funny." Len commented. "How we met each other again?"

"Yeah. Maybe Emi is right." I answered.

"About what?" Len inquired.

"About us being made for each other." I started unconsciously playing with my hair.

There was a long moment of silence until finally Len spoke up. "Hey Miku, I really like you so I wanted to ask if I could..."

I didn't let him finish. I kissed him. He kissed me back. And everything felt right.

Then we heard a squeal. I jumped up and saw Rin.

"OHMYGOSH!" She cried. "AHHHH! SO CUTE!"

"RIN WHAT THE..."Len cut himself off and muttered something.

"Well I saw you leave so obviously I had to follow you with my trusty sneaking assistant." Rin gestured to Mikuo.

I laughed when I saw Mikuo's face. It was obvious who was in charge in this relationship.

"Why don't we all go to Karen's?" I suggested. 

"YEEEESSSSS!" Len and Mikuo cried. "FOOOD!"

Rin rolled her eyes at me. "Man whoever said "the way to a man's heart is through his stomach," didn't know how right they were."

I laughed. "I think it's the same for all of us."

Rin cracked a smile. "Yeah...LAST COUPLE THERE PAYS!" And she broke off into a run. "COME ON MIKUO!"

We all ran to Karens by the light of the moon and streetlights. It was a beautiful night.
