·°•°·°Lola's POV°·°•°·

When I woke up I got ready for school and left early, not wanting to have to train before school.

When I arrived I saw Ivy teasing a girl that was new to school and I held back a laugh when the new girl just looked bored instead of upset.

I went over to them and the new girl glanced at me.

"Sup, Ivy!" I said.

"Lola! Hey! I haven't seen you around school in forever! This is Mary!" Ivy said.

"Melody." The new girl corrected, bored.

She doesn't exactly look like the kind of person that likes people.

"Lola!" Zane's voice said as he ran over to us and the new girl immediately looked at him.

"Hi! I'm Melody! I'm new here!" She chirped and I tried not to glare at her.

"Um... hi?" He said and turned towards me. "Lola, we should hang out again soon! Maybe go volunteer at the pet adoption center?" He asked.

"Sure! That sounds nice!" I exclaimed and could feel the girls penetrating stare.

"Great! Seeya after school!" Zane said and ran off.

Ivy wandered off to her other friends and the new girl was still staring at me.

"What?" I asked, annoyed.

"Are you dating him?" She asked and before I could say anything she continued. "If not, then he's mine. Got it? And if you are dating I will do whatever I can to get you and him to break up."

"Listen. You don't know me and you don't know Zane. You can't just claim someone and then threaten his girlfriend. To be honest, I don't need to know you to not like you." I said and narrowed my eyes at her. "If you have a problem with me and Zane dating, then take it up with me. I couldn't care less about anything you say because it doesn't matter to me. I don't care if you hate me, just leave Zane out of this. Okay?" I asked and walked off.

When I got to class I saw Melody sitting in my seat, talking to Zane.

He looked bored and when he saw me enter the room his eyes lit up. "Lola! Hey! Could you get this girl, Marley, to get out if your seat?"

Melody looked slightly annoyed that he didn't get her name right and I laughed.

"What?" She snapped.

"Nothing. Now, please get out of my seat." I replied and she got up, grumbling.

"Sigherra!" I heard someone yell in the hallway as they ran past the class. "Stop running off!"

Zane and I glanced at one another and got up to go check things out.

We looked in the hallway and Sigherra was holding her binder and books, her wolf ears and tail out as she glared at Gene.

"Leave me alone, Gene!" She snapped and he stepped back. "For the last time, I'm not joining the Shadow Knights! Go crawl back into whatever hole you came from and leave me alone! Your no longer considered a friend, Gene. Sasha and Zenix don't even talk to you anymore. The Shadow Knights only has one person now. You. I don't want to join, and no one else does. So stop following me and leave me alone!"

She bolted as the teacher started walking to the classroom and Zane and I got back in our seats, confused.

"What was that about?" I wondered and Zane shrugged.

·°•°·°Time Skip°·°•°·

I was sitting with the others at lunch when Cameron called me.

"I'll be right back." I said and ran outside to answer the call.

"Howdy." I said.

"What class are you in right now?"

"Lunch. Why?" I asked.

"Get as far from the building as possible in the next minute unless you want to die."

"What's going on?"

"Get everyone you care about out of the building and far from it. There will be something happening in the chemistry lab by the cafeteria."

"Okay."

I ended the call and ran inside to Zane and Ein.

"Guys! We have to go! Now!" I said as I looked at the clock.

I have half a minute to get them to get away from the school.

"What? Why?" They asked.

"Something bad is about to happen!" I exclaimed. "I can feel it! Let's go!"

"Okay. Let me get the others--" Ein started.

"There's no time! Let's go!" I whisper shrieked and grabbed their arms, dragging them out of school as I ran as far from it as I could using my werewolf abilities.

An explosion went off in the chemistry lab and I saw the fire engulf that part of the school, including the cafeteria.

I heard screaming and saw Aaron running outside, holding an unconscious Lily.

Well, out table it by the door of the cafeteria, which is by the chemistry lab and Lily is the closest to the door, so it's possible something hit her in the explosion.

"Garroth! Vylad!" Zane screamed, trying to run back to the school but I held him back with Ein.

"Zane! Calm down! They'll be okay! Just calm down!" Ein yelled then froze.

"What?" I asked.

"Sigherra!" He exclaimed when he didn't see her exit the building.

Sasha and Travis were exiting the building, helping each other stand up.

Sasha had something stabbing through her left leg and Travis  had a slightly twisted right ankle.

Ivy ran outside with Cadenza, Dante, Zenix, Laurance and Lucinda as they coughed from the smoke inhalation.

Melody walked out of the school with a couple of scratches, but was perfectly fine other than that.

All of a sudden Ein ran past me and Zane, not giving us a chance to stop him, so we ran after him.

I saw him lifting parts of the collapsed ceiling and pushing parts of it off of someone that was trapped underneath.

"Zane! Lola! Help!" Ein screamed and lifted more of the collapsed ceiling off of the person.

I walked closer and saw who was trapped underneath.

My adopted sister, Sigherra.

"Sigh?" I asked. I saw Mr. Castor run over and him and his chickens helped Zane and Ein get her out of the rubble.

"My peoples!" Mr. Castor yelled as his chickens dragged her out. "Call an ambulance!"

Cadenza was standing nearby with a horrified expression and had her phone out.

"911, what's your emergency?" The person on the other end of the phone asked.

"There's a fire at Phoenix Drop High! The chemistry lab exploded and not everyone is out of the building! The ceiling caved in and landed on one of my friends!" Cadenza screamed into her phone, crying.

"Garroth!" Laurance screamed into the school, starting to go back inside.

"Laurance! Stop!" Cadenza screamed and pulled him back.

"Please calm down. We'll send an ambulances right away. We'll be there shortly."

Cadenza fell to her knees crying as there was another explosion inside.

Ein pulled Sigherra as far from the explosion as possible, and I glanced down at her.

She's looking pretty lifeless right now.

Laurance is hugging his sister while screaming for his friends.

Lucinda was running in and out of the building, helping people I don't know out of the fire and rubble.

Zenix was seen dragging Vylad out of the building while coughing up smoke.

I walked inside the school without anyone noticing and saw Garroth trapped under part of the caved in ceiling.

"Lola!" He screamed. "Help me!"

I used my werewolf abilities to lift the part of the ceiling that was trapping him and helped him get up, practically shoving him outside while I looked for people I knew.

There were several dead students and some that were unconscious from smoke inhalation and injuries.

I was knocked back by another explosion and yelped as I hit the wall.

Over the screams of the students and the fire roaring, I heard a cracking sound and looked up.

My eyes widened in horror when I saw that the ceiling above me was cracking and starting to fall.

Everything seemed to go in slow motion at that point as I stumbled, trying to get up as the ceiling above me collapsed.

Someone slammed into my side, knocking me away from the spot I was in as the ceiling collapsed.

The air was knocked out of me as I hit the floor and the person landed beside me.

I looked at them and saw that it was Zane that kept me from being flattened into a pancake.

"Zane!" I screamed and hugged him, coughing as smoke continued to fill my lungs and my vision started to have black spots and my limbs felt too weak to move.

I fell limp in his arms as darkness engulfed my vision completely and the last thing I remember is him screaming for me to wake up.

"Lola!"

·°•°·°3rd person's POV°·°•°·

Zane picked up his unconscious girlfriend and ran outside, coughing from all the smoke inhalation.

Aaron ran to him and told him to set her down by a tree that was a couple yards from the fiery school.

"Lola!" Ein screeched when he saw his twin.

The ambulances arrived a few seconds later with the fire department and the paramedics put Lola and Sigherra, as well as Lily and several other people on stretchers and out them in the ambulances.

They out out the fire and started taking people out of the building in body bags.

There were dozens of students that died, and hundreds that were injured.

Zane tried to get in the ambulance Lola was in, but the paramedics stopped him.

"Family and loved ones only." They said.

"I'm her boyfriend!" Zane screamed.

"I'm her twin brother!" Ein said. "I can confirm that this is her boyfriend!"

The paramedics let them into the ambulance and they rushed to the hospital.

Lily and Sigherra were put in different ambulances and Sasha was put in one as well because of the object stabbing through her leg.

Travis was put in the same one as her because of his slightly twisted ankle.

"Thanks for helping me, Travis." Sasha said.

"Any time." Travis replied.

The two of them had a feeling they were twins.

They were the same age, in the same grade, had the same birthday, looked almost exactly alike, and the only difference was:

Sasha has never met her real parents because she was given up as a baby.

"Do you think we're actually twins?" Travis asked. "And that my dad just gave you up because he couldn't take care of two kids after mom died?"

"Maybe. I mean, your mother died after giving birth, and when you are in your demon warlock form we look even more alike, minus your grey skin." Sasha replied, wincing as she shifted in the seat in the ambulance.

"Do you think any of our friends died?" Travis asked.

"I hope not." Sasha whispered.

"Me too. I hope everyone is alive and safe." Travis whispered and they sat in silence as the paramedics whispered among one another on the other side of the back of the ambulance.

"But what if they died?" Sasha asked, sniffling.

"I don't know." Travis replied. "But for now, let's just hope for the best. Okay?"

"Yeah. Okay." Sasha said and wiped her tears.

Travis stared out the window of the back doors of the ambulance as it sped down the road and towards the hospital.

Sasha still had the object stabbing through her leg, and passed out from the pain in her leg.

Travis didn't notice she passed out until they arrived at the hospital and the paramedics put her from the seat in the side of the ambulance onto a stretcher and wheeled her into the ER.

"Sasha?" Travis asked when he saw her unresponsive.

He was taken into a different room to get his ankle checked out and saw Sigherra and Garroth being rushed inside, unconscious and bleeding profusely from their wounds.

"Guys?" He whispered and then saw Lola being rushed in, Zane and Ein following, worried expressions on their faces.

Lily was rushed in after that, unconscious and scratched up a bit.

The doctor checking Travis' ankle said something, and when he closed his eyes to blink, he was met with darkness as he passed out from exhaustion.

I woke up to the sound of a monitor beeping and opened my eyes to a bright light and brought my hand up to cover my eyes, groaning at the brightness.

"She's awake!" Ein exclaimed and I lowered my hand, noticing the other hand was wrapped up in a white bandage.

"It was burnt by the fire when Zane carried out you out of the fire. What were you doing in there?!" Ein asked, and I glanced at his face.

He's been crying.

Why?

What happened?

I must've said it out loud because Zane looked at me, and when he spoke his voice was shaky.

"There was an explosion at school. Ein and I wouldn't be alive if you hadn't gotten us to leave before the explosion. You even went back in and saved my brother." He said.

Everything came rushing back to me and my eyes widened at the memory of he dead bodies and unconscious students, dying from smoke inhalation.

"W-who all died?" I asked and winced at my raspy voice.

"Sigherra is in critical condition and still hasn't woken up, and Garroth is sleeping in his hospital bed, but is going to be okay. Zenix told me Vylad was next to the chemistry room when he found him." Ein said.

Zane's voice got strained and he tried not to cry. "V-Vylad almost didn't make it... He's dying in his hospital bed..."

My eyes widened.

Ein and Zane left to visit Vylad and I heard a voice in my head say:
