A/N: This book will be ending in a couple chapters (no less than 25 though, so we've still got time before I end it.) But there will be a book three. It will be called 'Memories Of Pain'. That book might be the final book in the Hidden Pain series.

3rd Person

Polar Evile was sitting on her porch swing, reading a book about polar bears when she heard a gun shot over by Aphmau's house.

She closed her book and bolted to the house, kicking open the front door.

"Aphmau? Sylvanna? Are you guys okay?" She called out, looking for them. "I saw a broken window. Guys?"

She walked into the kitchen and her eyes widened in horror.

Aphmau had a bullet through her forehead, bits of her brain on the ground with a large pool of blood around her.

Sylvanna had a bullet wound in her stomach, blood pooled around her like Aphmau.

Their eyes were open, dull and lifeless.

With trembling hands, Polar closed the eyes of her deceased neighbours and called the police.

She walked into another room so she wouldn't have to see the dead bodies in the kitchen.

"Hello? I-I'd like to report a murder." Polar said, trying to keep her voice steady.

Tears filled her eyes as images of the mother and daughter flashed through her mind.

"I'm on Scaleswind avenue. The corner house with the apple tree and roses." She said.

After she ended the call she hurried past the kitchen, going outside.

"Polar? Are you okay?" Aaron asked as he walked past the house. "Oh, is Aph home?"

"Don't... say that name." Polar whispered as someone arrived got make the bodies away. "Aphmau and Sylvanna are dead."

Aaron pushed past Polar and ran into the house, making sure this wasn't some cruel joke.

"Aph," He gasped when he saw the dead bodies. Tears filled his eyes as he tried not to throw up.

He walked out of the house as the people went inside to take the bodies.

"Aaron! Hey!" Lily called as she walked by. "Polar called me, telling me to come over. What happened?"

"Go. Just leave, Lily. It's best that you don't know." Aaron muttered, his eyes turning red. (Like they did in When Angels Fall with after Melissa, y'know... 👻)

"Oh, my Irene! Are they..." Lily's eyes widened as the people came outside with the body bags.

Aaron nodded and walked away, keeping his head down as he shoved his hands in his pockets so no one would know he was crying.

A scream of terror was heard further down the street.

"Get away from me!" Sasha screeched. "Zenix! Hurry up and knock him out!"

Aaron bolted towards them and saw Cameron pointing a gun at Sasha.

"Cameron." He growled, looking straight at him.

Cameron ignored him and his finger moved to the trigger, a smile on his face.

Aaron tackled Cameron, making sure the gun was away from him.

Sasha grabbed the gun with shaky hands, her eyes wide.

Zenix grabbed Cameron's arms and pulled him up.

"We're taking you back to prison, you psychotic monster." (You aren't a psychotic monster, it's just for the story 😅)

Sasha stood up, the gun still in her hands.

Aaron phoned the police and they arrived within minutes, thanking the teenagers for keeping him from escaping until they arrived.

"Guys, I have to tell you something." Aaron said , keeping his head down so they wouldn't see his eyes. "Aphmau and Sylvanna were murdered earlier today."

"Cameron!" Sasha hissed. "He did it! I know it! He's the one that killed her the first time, right?"

Aaron simply nodded.

"Do you know who he might go after next?" Zenix asked.

"Let's discuss this with the others, okay?" Aaron asked and the other two nodded.

'Sky's POV

"Ein, we need to talk." Aaron said to Ein at the front door.

"What about?" He asked.

"Cameron."

"Where will we meet up?" He asked.

"My place. The others will be there too."

"Can I come?" I asked and Aaron looked at me. "I've fought Cameron before. I lost, but still.. I know what's going on."

"Fine. My place in ten."

Aaron left and Ein looked at me.

"I'm starting to think you really are Lola, but I still can't be sure."

"I know I'm Lola. I'm remembering more things. Like when we were kids and we met the Romeave's. And when Polar told us she wasn't our mom, and was actually just our older sister pretending to be our mom."

"Hmm... Maybe you are her.." Ein mumbled.

"Shouldn't we get to Aaron's house?" I asked and he nodded.

We ran to his house as the others arrived.

Zane, Nana, Sasha, Zenix, Travis, Laurance, Cadenza, Lucinda, Lily, Ivy, and the others were waiting outside.

"Come on in, guys." Aaron said and let everyone inside.

We sat in a big circle in his room and waited until everyone was situated before we started talking.

"Aphmau was murdered by Cameron today." Aaron said and there were gasps throughout the room.

"Again?" Ivy asked.

"Yes, again," He replied. "Sylvanna was killed too."

"How are we supposed to deal with Cameron if we can't even keep him in jail for long?" Lily asked.

"For all we know, he could be outside right now!" Nana said, looking scared.

"The question is: which one of us is next?" Zane asked.

"I want all of us to pick someone to walk home with each day." Sasha said. "It would be a lot safer than walking alone. Especially with Cameron on the loose."

"Since Laurance and I are siblings, we walk together anyway." Cadenza said.

"Sky is staying at my house, so we'd obviously walk together." Ein muttered.

"I'll pair up with Ivy. I mean, we're cousins, so it makes sense. Besides, it's not the smartest thing for a person in a wheelchair to be on her own." Lily said quietly, her eyes clouded with thought as she stared at the wall.

"Zenix and I are neighbours, so that's another pair." Sasha said.

"What about Zane, Nana, Travis and Lucinda? I'm fine with walking on my own since I can fight, but the rest of you need someone to help you." Aaron said.

"I'll go with Zane!" Nana grinned, even in this serious situation.

"I'll walk with Travis. We both stand more of a chance than the rest of you because I'm the daughter of a witch and Travis is the son of the demon warlock." Lucinda said.

"Is Sigherra still in the hospital?" Sasha asked Ein and he nodded.

"She's still healing from getting trapped under part of the ceiling when the school exploded." Ein replied.

"We should all visit her." Ivy said.

"Sure. When should we leave?" Lucinda asked.

"Let's go visit her right now." Travis said.

We all left in a big group to go visit Sigherra in the hospital.

3rd Person

Little did they know, there was someone following them.

Someone evil.
