Chapter Twenty Five

A/N: Sorry I haven't updated in forever! I've been busy with school and books on other accounts and improving my writing and and honestly forgot about this account for a while... 😅

So random news, but... I passed both the PowerPoint and Word MOS tests uwu (MOS= Microsoft Office Specialist)

Anyways! Enjoy this chapter, I guess?

Or don't.

Whatever.

THIRD PERSON

A few months had passed since Cameron was rearrested and things had been quiet.

Too quiet.

"Yanno, it's been far too calm these past few months. Wouldn't you guys agree?" Ivy asked as she rolled her wheelchair down a steep-ish ramp, her friends following her.

"Yeah. I mean, I appreciate it and all because it's given us time to heal, but it also makes me suspicious," Lily replied and took a sip from a cup of coffee in her hand. "It's like someone somewhere is waiting for us to think everything is safe, then... BAM! Another killer shows up and destroys the town!"

"You're thinking too much into things. Why can't we just enjoy the peace while it lasts?"

"I dunno.. After everything that's happened, it's natural to be at least a little on edge, right?" Sky questioned. "I do agree with Ivy, though. It's far too calm."

"Oh, calm down! We've all learned how to defend ourselves with and without weapons, so we should be fine." Aaron spoke, startling his friends.

"You were so quiet for a minute that I forgot you were there!" Sky said with an awkward laugh.

"Wow. Just... Just wow."

"So where are we headed now?" Ein asked.

"Graveyard. I'm going to pay my respects to the others. You guys can wait outside of the graveyard if you don't feel comfortable-"

"We're going."

"Okay, then... Let's go."

"Race ya there!"

"What?! No fair- I'm in a wheelchair, guys!" Ivy exclaimed and started wheeling herself forward as fast as she could. "Wait up!"

"Uwu what's this? Ivy can't fly after all?" Sigherra asked.

"Did... Did you just... Say uwu?"

"So what if I did?"

"Where did you come from, anyways?"

"Everywhere and nowhere."

"That doesn't make any sense!"

"Exactly. Uwu."

~~~~~~~~
Aaron immediately made his way towards the graves of the Lycan females and paid his respects to his mother and sister who secretly follows them around as a ghost and ships people- wait, what?
"You done?" Lily asked Aaron after she'd paid her respects as well.
"Yeah. Let's go to the others."
~~~~~~~~

After around two hours of paying respects to their many dead friends, the group went to a cafe and got something to snack on.

"I feel like we always come to this specific cafe." Sigherra sweat dropped and the group laughed.

"Well, why wouldn't we? A lot has happened here. This is where Cameron got away in book one of the series-"

"Series? Book one? What?"

"Ahem! Fix that wall right now, Aaron!"

"I'll fix it later. Or the readers can fix it."

"Aaron Lycan!"

"Sorry. Anyway, this is where Sigherra and I found out a lot of Aph's secrets after she died the first time-"

"This is gonna get too sappy! I'm going home if this keeps up!" Ein whined.

"What?! No! You're supposed to walk with me! I'm bad with directions, remember?!" Sky exclaimed.

"And you've lived in this town for how long?" Lily asked with a laugh.

"Shaddup."

"Make me."

"I would, but I don't wanna get kicked out of this place for a twentieth time."

"How have they not permanently kicked you out yet?"

"They love me. Uwu."

"Ew. Stop saying uwu."

"No. Uwu."

"I hate you."

"Uwu. My poor feelings-"

"Bitch, I will slap you."

"Ein! Can we go now? She's bullying me!"

"Calm down, guys." Ivy snickered.

After the group ate, they went outside and began crossing the street when a car suddenly sped towards them.

Tires screeching, the car drove down the road, swerving from side to side until it got within a mere few feet from Aaron Lycan.

Then...

There was a cliffhanger! Muahahaha!

Hate me all you'd like, children. Nothing can bring me down today! My self confidence is through the roof for once!

Not really. I just don't feel like I look as shitty today uwu

My self confidence has gone up a lot this year, though. I made a friend who has really helped me with that.

Anyways...

I was thinking about ending this book series at this book instead of making a book three like I had originally planned.

The thing is, I'm not even an Aphmau fan anymore. I haven't been for quite some time. The only reason I haven't discontinued this book is because I know that you guys like the chapters I write for you, even if they're as short as this one was.

I really appreciate the fact that, if you're reading this right now, you haven't given up on this book and it's veeeeeery slow updates.

I don't know when the next update will be. I'm working on a book on another account (two, actually one of them is just far more popular than the other, having reached #1 in the majority of its tags) that takes up almost all of my free time.

If you have any questions for me, leave them here and I'll answer them in the next chapter.

In the meantime, have a lovely day/night wherever you are!

Bye!
