The thunder stroke has burnt the Morgan House along with the mortal corpse of Bahadur Chacha.. but what about the entities  that have no physical existence? What about those entities those have the ability to appear and disappear in the very next moment?

Running away from Morgan house can just save them merely from the bricks and cement. But those entities which are neither living….nor non living??

Naina…….Hume kaise bhi karke church tak pouchna hoga…. Said Rajveer as he ran fastest possible!

Ha Raj….. Father Samuel hi hume in sab se bacha payege.. the church area is safe I feel.. naina replied as she tried hard to match Rajveers speed….. lekin church itna dur to nahi tha…. Tab to 10 minutes mein church se Morgan House chale gaye the  Raj……she said as her eyes believed the road they were running doesn’t lead to the church.. Raaj hume daudte daudte 15 minutes ho gaye…..phirbhi church nahi dikhrahi…

Naina…..im sure… yehi rasta hai.. aur thoda aage hoga church…. Comeon…… run fast… hum kamzor nahi padh sakte. Rajveer tried to make her believe that they were on the right path...

Believing in his words, Naina increased her speed……to the highest she could.. and they ran together..……. Miles after miles…… church….. no where ahead….

Raaj…….. mai aur nahi bhag sakti….. bohat thak gayi hoon….. naina halted as she got breathless….. her heart thumping against her chest….. drops of sweat on her forehead….even when the atmosphere is cool… her calf muscles have given up….so her toes…. Her sallow breaths wa the added reson behind her fatigue..

Rajveers condition was no better! But…..his determination to take Naina to a safe place ignited the spark inside him…and that made him go…… Naina…….hum ruk nahi sakte….. chalo… church tak pauchna hoga..he said in the go, looking at her..

Church……..church….. kaha hai church? Hum pichle adhe ghante se bhag rahe hain. I cant run any more…. She panted.. im telling you Raj we are on the wrong way… she shouted this time to make Rajveer realize her…. Dekhiye charo taraf…… hum log ek hi raste se daud rahe hain… baar baar…. Raj.. we are again in a trap!

Yeh... Yeh pedh .. Raj maine kuch min pehle dekhi thi... She said pointing to an abnormal looking tree on the road side..aur Abhi bhi... Phirse yahi par.... Raj..... I'm telling you...hum log ek hi jagah gol gol bhatak rahe hain.  

Her words made Rajveer realize the fact and look at the surroundings.. Naina……he said panting..i think tum theek keh rhi ho.. he looked at the dark surroundings…. He realised that Nainas words had logic..  it's been about 30 minutes they were running.   And church. ... Seemed no where near!
Lekin…..lekin….hum rasta kaise pehchnenge? Charo taraf andhera… he panicked..

Lekin naina…..rasta to maine sahi chuna tha…..Naina…I swear…..Rasta sahi tha…phir  achanak……..he tried hard to think… and the more he got puzzled.

Raaj.. I know….. Rasta sahi tha… lekin…. She stopped suddenly as her eyes fell on a human figure far ahead of them….. Raaj….woh dekhiye.. lagtha hai koi insan hai…..she said pointing to the figure.

Naina….mujhe yakeen nahi ho raha itni raat ko koi insan hoga.. woh bhi sunsan sadak par…. Nahi naina….woh insan nahi hai…..Rajveer doubted the existence of the very being.

Raaj… humare paas aur koi rasta nahi hai….. hume unse poochna hi padega…. Agar koi bhala insane hua to achha… warna jo hai humare naseeb mein….wohi sahi……lekin Raaj…chance to hume lena padega na..said naina as she wanted to reach the church earliest possible…  come on Raaj… aise beech sadak khade rehne se achha hai hum unse pooch le….saying this Naina clasped his palms with hers, trying to make him understand… and they started walking towards the figure..

But…. The more they moved ahead, the more that figure drifted away.. it seemed the figure was moving in the same speed as theirs. But as they stopped, the figure stopped too!

Naina…….maine kaha tha…..woh koi zinda Insan nahi hai…. Ab yakeen hua? Rajveer shouted out of frustration…

Raaj…. Pata nahi…. Hum hallucinate kar rahe hai ya nahi?? Naina said looking at Rajveer as she herself was in a doubt by then.. and as she looked ahead…she found the figure a bit closer….on the left side.. on the grassland beyond the road pitch line… beneath the dense pine trees…

Raaj……. Who dekhiye… who insan thoda samne aye hain… hope we reach him soon.. Raj… lets walk to him…… safed kapde mein hai lagtha hai… may be it is Father Samuel… Naina said out of excitement... Excitement of reaching church and being inside it's safe custody!

Naina….safed kapdo mein bus Father Samuel nahi rehte.. how can you forget?? Rajveer tried to make her understand.

So what to do now?? Naina asked…… aise hi khade rahenge?? She said as she hung her hands sideways helplessly.

They were busy deciding what to do next when suddenly the harsh sound of a crow broke  their trance… looking here and there in search of the source of the sound, their eyes fell on the figure ahead of them.. standing on the right border of the road….

Awwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaa………..together they shouted in unison……

The figure has moved much closer… its silhouette was clear to their eyes…. The dark surroundings made the figure even more clear…. And it was the same woman figure….. hands hung sideways..in a dirty whitedress… face covered with hairs… one uncanny bluish light scattered around her…

A guffaw echoed at that momnt and the figure started moving towards them again… not moving…. Running... may be not even running   Floating…may be flying…. Thousands of bats started flying over their head…. Out of no where… winds roaring again,and the whistle of the pine leaves along with the guffaw made it clear that they were not standing on any earthly environment.

Rajveer……….Naina shouted……..Run………………. but Rajveer seemed to have frozen on the spot.. his eyes glued to the floating figure that advanced..

Holding Rajveer by his arms, naina tried running.. on her left…in the jungle…. As the road was blocked by the dangerous entity.. but she failed… Rajveer was fixed..

Raaj… raaj… raaaaaj….. she called him patting his cheeks… Raaj…. Kya dekh rahe hain… she looked at the figure once and back towards Rajveer… Raaaaaj……move...……she shouted….. but….Rajveer was fixed…he was hyptonised!

Raaj……….she cried…… and the very next moment while patting him, the SILVER CROSS that was tied across her wrist touched Rajveers skin and Rajveers trance broke…

Getting hold for a second, letting in his mind the incidents, his brain recalled everything….. and in the next instant holding Nainas hand, he kinda hopped in the jungle towards their left.. running amidst the pine forests….hurting their skin…… banging on to the tree trunks they ran….holding hands..

As they moved front.... crossing the tree barks, creepers beneath that entangled them at every step, they reached a place..…..near a pond…. Water ahead of them…. And on the opposite bank of the pond was a human figure standing again!

Naina…… hum aage nahi ja sakte…. Blocked we are…. Aage pani hai…….. aur is jungle mein…….. I dontknow where to go! He exclaimed….eying on the figure… aur wahapar ek aur saaya……he looked at naina….. naina whose gaze was fixed on the shadow said… Raj..… im sure… who insan hi hai…. Dekhiye…. He is splashing water…..she pointed towards the figure that by the mean time had bent down.….

Rajveer was relaxed a bit……yeah.. the man indeed was splashing water…..sound clear…. His movements imply the same…. Be exhaled at last... Relaxed..

But again.....something inside him…responding to some unknown call, that made him curious, he suddenly took out the smart phone from his pocket……… focusing its torch on the figure ahead, on the opposite bank of the pond…

Glushhhhhh…………. Water droplets on the air…..and the droplets fell again creating ripples on the pond water……. But…….. but no HUMAN BEING there….. void…… totally void……… water rose again, as if someone lifting water on his palms…..water got splashed on the air…. The droplets returned back to the source again!!

Ehahhahh hhhhhaaaaaaa ehhhhhaaaaaaaa haaahahhahhha………. Scary sound of laughter….. and several at several more places around the pond water started raising in the same way!

Without wasting a moment they turned back….. …. Just to find themselves on the same graveyard they had been that afternoon!

A wolf howled from somewhere near……… and the entire place started shivering……. Like an earthquake…. Breaking the marble doms set above each of the graves…..

The wolf howled again…..and the next second, the dome just In front of them broke apart creating a space in between…… a hand emerged from inside… left hand of a human…..

and the moon on the sky got wrapped in a thick blanket of cloud……….blocking the last ray of hope of their life…

Naina….. church yahi kahin aas paas hoga……. Said Rajveer…… it is said that….in intense situations, either your brain stops working……or it becomes hyperactive…. Rajveers brain………alligned itself on the second zone and made him realize that this is the same graveyard they had been that afternoon…. And church is somewhere on the right….may be a few kilometers away… and they just need  to reach the church..

Holding Nainas hands, he turned left….and ran…….again…….. it seemed…. Fate had decided marathon run for them that night…

As they ran…never looking back…they felt they were being chased by numerous entities….. howling of wolves, caw of crows and guffaw seemed their musical partner for the run….

And finally.. a ray of hope…… a cross….could be seen….. a cross glowing bright aginst the dark sky…
