Fionna POV

"Adventure..." "Time!" I shouted before sitting up and stretching. It was finally Friday, the day of the dance and the day Cake would leave to go visit Mike. The past week consisted of work, helping Marshall, trying to get Gumball to stop flirting with me and helping Cake pack. I got up then did what I did every morning, get out my clothes before going to take a shower. After my shower I got dressed in a black top that had straps, black skinny jeans, a blue hoodie and blue and white All Stars. I then put my hair in a ponytail with my bangs out before putting on my bunny headband. I smiled then grabbed my book bag before running downstairs to see Cake packing her last bit of stuff "Morning Cake" I said smiling "Morning baby cakes! I made you a breakfast burrito" she said "It's on the kitchen table" she added before moving her suitcases over towards the front door for later. "Thanks" I said before going into the kitchen to get it, I picked it up and took a bite out of it before heading back out to the front room "I heard their gonna let us out early to get ready for the dance so if they do can you help me get ready?" I asked causing Cake to smile "Sure" she replied. I quickly finished the breakfast burrito and said bye to Cake before walking out the house to see Marshall waiting for me "Hey Marshall" I said smiling as I walked over to him after closing the door behind me "Hey Fi are you ready for the dance?" "Yeah are we really gonna get out early?" I asked as we started to walk "I don't know the principal never said anything about that" he answered then shrugged. It didn't take us too long to reach school and as we headed up the steps we heard the mummers of everyone talking about the dance. I looked at Marshall when we walked in and couldn't help but notice he looked like he was thinking, but about what?

Gumball POV ( bet you weren't expecting it ;) )

"I can't believe I'm not going with anyone tonight, I never went alone before and I meant never" It bothered me even more to see Marshall had a date and I didn't."I mean how did that loser get a date? and better yet how did he get a date with a girl like Fionna?" I asked myself "What does Fionna see in him that she doesn't see in me?" I asked venting to myself, well I thought I was. "It sounds like you wanna be with Fionna" a familiar voice said causing me to turn around only to see Flame Prince "I do not" I said glaring at him only earning a chuckle from him. "No use in denying it, your just jealous that Marshall is going out with her instead of you" he said causing me too think, that can't be true....could it? I only wanted to use Fionna to become even more popular but could I really be falling in love with her too? I sighed just the thought of them together at the dance made another side of me show "I need your assistance Flame" I said causing him to smirk. "How may I help you?" he said and I started to think up a plan.

Marshall POV

Somethings not right I can sense it but I don't know what, could it be Gumball? No maybe Flame up to his antics again. I sighed then looked at Fionna "Think we can convince the principal to let us out early?" I asked trying to take my mind of of it "Yeah it's possible, maybe we can tell him we need a coupe more hours of decorating before the dance?" Fionna said and I nodded "that's a good idea" I then thought 'That's a really great idea' I thought before we started to go to our classes. I couldn't help but think of all the bad things that could happen tonight and worse of all what happened to me before could happen again but this time I have Fionna to loose.
