Fionna POV

"It's Adventure..." my alarm clock said then I jolted out of my bed "Time!" I screamed. "are you ok?" Cake said walking into my room "yeah its my alarm clock" I said getting my clothes ready for today. "Are you excited?" Cake said as I went under my bed to get my Mary Jane's "excited for what?" I said trying to forget about the first day of high school "it your first day at this high school, did you forget?" she said as I came from under my bed with my Mary Jane's "no...." she looked at me confused. "ok so are you....." "whoa I got to get ready Cake" I said as I ran into the bathroom and shut the door behind me "you don't want me to be late do you?" I said she sighed and I knew she emitted defeat, I washed up and put on my clothes that I layed on my bed. I was wearing my bunny head band, a blue dress that went down to my knees and underneath white Stalkings. I put my Mary Jane's on and ran downstairs to see my pack on the dinning room table, 'Cake must have packed it' I thought. I ran into the kitchen to the smell of bacon pancakes, they were on the counter with a note next to them. I picked up the note and read it :

I went out to buy groceries, I'll be here when you get home from school, don't forget to lock the door and have a nice day

I started to eat my bacon pancakes, I was still thinking about yesterday maybe that boy goes to this school and there's only one way to find out, I cleaned up then ran into the dinning room to get my pack before I ran to the door. I opened the door and locked it behind me and started to run down the street. I turned around when I thought I heard a voice and accidentally ran into someone causing us to fall down. I looked around and noticed I was on someone "can you get off of me" he said nicely "oh sorry" his voice sounded familiar, he got up and I saw his face it's was the boy that saved me yesterday "are you ok" I said as he wiped off his clothes "yeah..." he looked at me and realized he meet me before "didn't you save me yesterday" he nodded "I wouldn't say save though I just helped you" he said picking up his black shoulder bag. I smiled "well thanks for helping me" I said weirdly and we both laughed "so where are you running to?" He asked "to a high school near here" I said confused I never asked Cake the name of the school or were it was "you mean Aaa?" I gave him a confused look "that's the name of the high school" he said "oh" I started to blush feeling a little stupid. "it's ok that was my first reaction when I heard the name" he said laughing "umm.....what's your name?" I asked him "Marshall lee and yours?" he said "My name is Fionna" I said, he smiled "come on school starts in a couple minutes" I almost forgot and I started to walk with him. "so what's Aaa about?" I asked "it's a high school for the different" he said, I looked at him confused "what do you mean different?" he looked at me "all types of people go there like fairies, demons, humanoids and vampires" I was amazed I thought Cake was the only one, she can turn into a cat who has stretching and molding powers. "whoa, if you don't mind me asking what are you?" I asked as politely as I could "I'm a vampire......royalty" he said I looked at him that will explain his pale skin "Royalty?" I asked him " I'm the vampire king" he said "king?" I managed to get out, I can't believe it I'm talking to a king "yeah king" we turned the corner and crossed the street and I saw my new school. I saw people all around going into the school all looked normal "why do they look normal" I asked Marshall "in public they stay in there human form but when they enter the school they can reveal themselves and what are you?" he asked as we were walking up to the school "I'm a human". "human? Got any powers or abilities" he asked "I'm a good fighter and a hero" he looked at me with a smile "you would be the first cause this school needs saving" we entered the building and when I looked at Marshall he had fangs and two red dots on the side of his neck. "do you know where you're going?" I shaked my head no "I guess I'm your mentor until you do" he said smirking "I guess you are" I smiled "do you know what classes you want to take?" he said "what classes are there" he snapped his fingers and a piece of paper appeared in his hand and he handed it to me. It had a whole bunch of classes and at the top it said you can only choose 4 "what classes did you take?" I asked "all the fighting classes and free time" he said "I guess I'll be in those to" I said with a smile then a man walked up to me "you must be Fionna" I nodded "do you know what classes you want to take?" he asked looking at his clipboard "yes, I'm taking all the fight classes" he nodded "Marshall can you show her to her classes and locker" he asked Marshall "yeah where's her locker?" "two lockers down from yours" he said "ok" Marshall said "thank you have a nice day Fionna" then he walked Away. "principal?" I asked, he nodded "he's a demon so watch your self around him he has a little temper" I nodded.

Marshall POV

I'm telling her to be good around him when half of the people in this school don't care, they do what they want when they want, it's just how this school is. I walked her to her locker and opened it for her "thank you" she smiled "no problem" I said and when I saw Gumbutt looking this way I wasn't happy. His real name is Chad but only the popular people call him Gumball or should I say his brain washed poesy, he started to walk over but I gave him my death glare telling him to stay away. I don't need Fionna joining his poesy plus she's the only decent person I meet at this school, "ok let's go don't want to be late for Ice Quando" I said "ok" she smiled and followed me. "Mrs. Ice is a little mean" I said to Fionna and by mean I meant crazy, she threw a boy out the window because he was doubting her fighting skills. "humanoid?" she asked I nodded, we came to her door and I opened the door for her, she smiled and walked in. I went to the back and she sat right next to me "you must be Fionna" Mrs. Ice said, Fi nodded "ok this will be your seat for the rest of the year" she walked back to her desk while people kept coming in. One thing I like about this class is There's no Gumbutt, he's not the fighting type plus he would fail because of his wimpyness. You have to be real tough and brave to take these classes that's why I can't wait to she Fionna's fighting skills, everyone takes their seats and class starts. "today's lesson is learning about all the different ice weapons and defense moves" Mrs. Ice said "anyone familiar with ninjas?" Fi raises her hand "how about ice ninjas?" Fi still has her hand raised. "Do you know a defense move?" Mrs. Ice asked Fi "yes, Thin ice thin ice thin ice" she fold herself in slowly and appears next to me. "Good Fionna" she sits down at her desk then a icicle heads towards Fionna at a fast speed, she does some sort of hand movement and a sword made out of ice appears in her hand before she slices the icicle before it could even touch her. I looked at her amazed as she sat down "you weren't kidding when you said you were good at fighting" she giggled "may I see your ice sword Fionna?" Mrs. Ice asked, Fionna handed her the sword And she started to talk about how its one of the many ice weapons. Mrs. Ice showed us 50 different weapons and there were many more but class ended "that was fun" Fionna said as we walked to our lockers to put are books in "you have good ninjas skills Fionna" she smiled "thank you, so what's are next classes?" she asked "Fighting enrichment" she looked at me confused "it helps your fighting skills". She smiles "oh let's go" I laugh "chill out Fi it's not till 10:00 it's 9:30 now" "ohh" she started to blush "what do you do during this time?" she asked "I hang out in the back of the school" I say "is it fun back there?" she asked closing her locker "well no one but me hangs out in the back it's sort of my chill spot" "what do you do?" she asks "come on I'll show you". She followed me to the back of the school, there was a tree with my face carved into it, a table and around it four stumps. She looked at the tree with my face carved into it "what do you do back here?" she asked again "I play music and just hangout" she pointed at the side of the school's wall, I looked at it and got a little annoyed. It had a picture of Gumball on it and it says your a loser "Gumball...." I whispered trying to control my anger, "who is that" she asked, this isn't good I don't want her to know a thing about Gumball, I tried to think of something "he's just a jerk" she frowned "I hate jerks" I start to laugh then I took down the flyer and threw it away. I walked over to the table and sat on one of the stumps then i snapped my fingers and my axe bass was in my hands before I started to play.

Fionna POV

I listened to Marshall's melody it sounded sad at first then it got happy "your good" I said smiling when he was done "thanks". "well we should get to our next class now" he said "yeah" his axe bass disappeared and we started to walk in "do you have any musical talents?" Marshall asked "not like yours but I sing abit" "I sing also, here's our class" he said pointing at the red door "are class is in a gym?" I asked he nodded then opened the door.

"there are the girl changing rooms" Marshall said as he walked into the boy changing rooms. I walked into the girls and opened my pack looking for a scrunchy, I had a gym outfit with a note from cake:

I went into a stall and put on the grey tang top that says I like swords with two swords on the sides and black shorts with my black sneakers. I took out my bunny headband and put my hair in a ponytail with my bunny scrunchy. I put my pack and regular clothes in one of the lockers and walked out the changing room to see other people coming in and heading towards me, I moved out the way and went over to Marshall who was wearing a tight black shirt and red basketball shorts with his red and white sneakers. I kept staring at his chest you could tell he had abs "Fionna? Are you ok?" he asked looking at me "yeah I'm fine" I said smiling. I snapped out of it then a guy walked in with dummies, he must be the teacher I thought "line up maggots!" everyone got in line quickly "is he a demon?" Marshall nodded and gave me a quiet nudge. "do a herdal lap" he screamed then everyone started running to the race track including me, "you jump over the herdals without falling" Marshall said and I nodded. I jumped over the herdal and did a flip over the other one and I kept the pattern, when there were no more herdals I ran super fast and me and Marshall were tied. "who are you?" the teacher said walking up to me with a clipboard, I didn't know what to say he sounded like he was from the army so I gave him a salute "Fionna sir!" I said standing stiff he looked at me and slightly smiled "at ease solider" he said "you are a good runner keep up the good work" he said "thank you sir" then he walked away. "wow all the teachers are taking a liking to you" Marshall said "that would be a first" I said "ok boys on one side girls on the other" we did what he said then he paired a boy with a boy and a girl with a girl. "show me your fighting skills no hitting above the shoulder and...." we all got ready, I looked at my opponent "go!" we started to fight, my opponent tried to punch me in the arm but I dodged it and tripped her with my legs then I pinned her on the floor "we have are first winner, Fionna come over here" I walked over to him after I helped my opponent up. I watched the rest of the class fight, the next one to finish was a boy named Carl then Marshall and four other girls then the teacher blew his whistle. "the winners will fight" he said "boy vs. girl" I was fighting Marshall which seemed a little crazy, I mean he's a vampire I'm a Human "ready set............".

Marshall POV

I was staring at Fi she's a human I'm a vampire, I can practically hurt her. I'll try to go easy on her though  "Go!" the teacher screamed, I tried to flip her over but she reversed it and now I was on the ground. She got down to pin me but I rolled over and tried to pin her, she kicked me off and I went flying but I landed on my feet. She then flipped herself up and ran at me, she tried to punch me but I grabbed her hand then she put her other hand on my hand and flipped me over on my back"Oooooo" everyone said watching us.

Fionna POV

I tried to pin him again and he rolled over and pinned me and we kept rolling over on each other then the teacher blew his whistle. "It's a tie" he said "clean up" then everyone started to walk to the changing rooms. I walked into the girls changing rooms and a girl walked up to me "you were amazing" a girl said coming up to me "thank you" I said smiling "oh were are my manners, my name is cherry, cherry the fairy" she said fast "nice to meet you cherry, my name is Fionna" she smiled "nice to meet you too, see you around" then she walked out the changing room. I walked over to where I put my stuff and I opened the locker to see a note "it's from Gumball" a girl said walking by, I opened it and read it

From Gumball

I crumbled up the note and threw it away then I tooked out my stuff and changed into my normal clothes and put my gym clothes back into my pack. I walked out the changing room and everyone but Marshall left, I smiled "thanks for waiting" I said walking over to him "no problem" he said as we walked out the gym.  We walked to are lockers to get our history books out, I opened it and another note fell out it said from Gumball on the front, I picked it up and threw it away. "who was that from?" Marshall asked "just a jerk" I closed my locker after I got my books out and we walked to the lunch room. I didn't like the way the lunch room looked, it's like there's a table for every click, Marshall sat down at a table near the window no one else was there so I sat with him. Everyone looked at us "did I do something wrong?" I asked "no, I usually sit by myself" I nodded and took out my lunch. I had a ham sandwich, a apple and a bottle of ice tea "want my apple?" I asked he nodded and I handed it to him "thanks" "no problem" I picked up my sandwich when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see a boy, wait he's that boy from the flyer umm..... Gumball "hello my name's Gumball" he said smiling "and?" I said "did you get my notes, I told someone to give them to you" he turned around to look at a girl with red hair "I did I promise" the girl said scared, I was getting sick of him "I did get them I just threw them away and if you wanted to give me something why send her she isn't your slave!" I said angry what kind of person treats someone like that. "I don't know who you think I am but I'm a prince and I can do anything I want" he said smirking "and I want you to hangout with me and not that thing over there" he said pointing at Marshall, I got really angry and I put down my sandwich and got up so we were face to face "I don't care who you are or what you can do but your not going to talk to me like that! And I can hangout with anyone I want" I started to poke his chest "I see your going to be hard to get" I looked at him with disgust "your not going to get me! Number one I don't like jerks, Number two I don't like spoiled brats and number three I would never be with someone who treats people like you do!" I poked his chest hard and he fell down. I sat back down, everybody was looking at me I didn't care he deserve that "are you ok?" Marshall asked "yeah I told you I hate jerks" he laughed, I finished my sandwich and threw my trash away "ok look at this" Marshall said he lifted his finger and blue fire formed words that said will you be my best friend "I thought we were" I laughed and he smiled. Lunch was over and we walked to the next class it was history of fighting and stuff I kinda dozed off in the class then the last class was free period, I hanged out in the back of the school with Marshall helping him take down some more Gumball posters what a jerk. I grabbed my pack and started to walk home, Marshall was staying after school for music classes so I was on my own.
