"Congratulations Mr khanna...You are blessed with Twins.
Ek ladka...Ek ladki....."

Doctor announced with a smile on her face, coming out from the operation theatre, to the restless Neil, who was continuosly waiting for this much awaited good news.

A big smile on his face was the proof that how excited he was to listen this news.
The happiness on his face and tears in his eyes were enough to explain that how much he has prayed in these last few hours for the safety of his wife..and his babies.

Neil (with teary eyes and smiley face) :  Th...th...thank...thank you doctor....thank you so much. Main...main papa bn gya.
God....i...i am so so happy today. He closed his eyes in a bliss and tears fell from his eyes. Surely this was the happiest moment for him.

A...Avni kaisi hai doctor...Is she...is she fine...vo..vo thik hai na ? he asked in panick...realising how complicated this delivery was for Avni.

As Avni has to go through a c-section due to some complication in her delivery.
And moreover, since she was pregnant with twins, so doctor advised them to go for a c-section than a normal deliivery, for the safety of both their babies.

Doctor : Dont worry Neil. She is fine. Infact she was very brave throughout this journey.
Despite having complication, she never gave hopes...and result is in front of our eyes...the delivery went well. So relax,she is doing well.

Neil got some relief "And m..my babies...how..how are they...?
C...can i meet them...? Can i..can i see them doctor....?"

Doctor : They are in the nursery Neil...premature delivery ki vajah se unhe kuch time nursery me rehna hoga. But you can definately see them.

Neil got worried listening this   "D..doctor koi...koi problem to nhi hai na..? Mere....mere babies thik hai na...?"

Doctor : Yes, they are fine and absolutely healthy. Just for the safety purpose we will keep them under observation. Nothing to worry....she patted his shoulders and gave him assurance.

Doctor : Avni ko thodi der me hosh aa jayega....and then you both can see your babies...okay. You can go inside now.....and congratulations once again.

Neil smiled "Thank you doctor"

Neil sat near Avni, holding her one hand between his hands....waiting for her to wake up.

After few minutes she opened her eyes slowly...and saw neil sitting in front of her ,looking and smiling at her.

Avni : N..neil....she whispered slowly.

Neil smiled and kissed her forehead.

Avni looked down and saw her flat tummy...and then looked around in the room in search of her babies.

Avni didn't saw any babies lying around her. She tried to sit and looked around in the entire room, but no babies were there.
She got panicked and start getting nervous. She get tears in her eyes.

Avni : N...neil...h..humare babies kaha hai....vo...vo kaha hai. Neil kya hua hai....mujhe bohot darr lg rha hai....sab...sab kuch thik hai na......Mujhe mere babies chahiye neil.....k..kaha hai vo.....vo...vo thik hai na...? Mujhe mere babies chahiye neil....m..mujhe unhe dekhna hai....k..kaha hai vo...bolo na neil....kaha hai mere babies...

Neil noticed her being restless.
He cupped her face and tried to stop her from panicking
"Heyy...shhhhh....Avni relax.....shant ho jao...Calm down.....humare babies bilkul thik hai....don't worry"

The moment neil said this...Avni looked at him. It was the moment she  realised that..that she has finally delivered their babies...and they have arrived in this world.

She feared and thought that she has lost them....as her delivery was difficult. But neil told her that their babies are fine.

Neil smiled and kissed her forehead.. Avni's nervousness also get vanished.

Neil cupped her face and said

Neil : Thank you so much Avni. You have fulfilled our wish...our dream. You have given birth to a boy and a girl. Our babies....our twins...jinka humne itna wait kiya....are finally here.

The happiness on his face was unconditional. Avni took some time to digest this reality...that her dream has come true. She got happy and hugged neil. They both hugged each other and expressed their happiness with each other. Their hearts were full of emotions. As the symbols of their love...are finally in this world.

Nurse took both Neil and Avni to the baby nursery room, where their babies were resting.

Avni was still weak...but she want to see her babies once. Neil held her for the support, and both of them stood near the glass window of that nursery.

They cant go inside and just looked throught the glass window, and suddenly, they both got mesmerised by the view in front of their eyes.

Their eyes got stuck at the faces of those tiny little munchkins.

Both Neil and Avni could not control their emotions, watching their little pieces of hearts.

They held each others hands tightly and kept adoring their precious bundle of happiness.

Tears fell from their eyes..and words fall short to express their love.

Avni (getting emotional) : Nn...neil....y...ye h....humare....humare ba..babies hai...she uttered out of utter happiness.

She was truly feeling blessed becoming a mother.

On the other hand, Neil was unable to believe that he has created these little wonders. He can already imagine his life revolving around just the two of them...from now onwards.

Neil : Haa Avni...look at them...they are so fragile....so....so delicate. I cant wait to hold them Avni. I cant wait to get them home. They are my world now. And I..i cant live without them.

Avni could not help and just kept adoring her babies. She blowed kiss to her two little jaans. "My babies...."

Neil smiled and side hugged her. They both touched their heads together...and kept adoring their two little bundle of joys.

After few minutes.....

Nurse came to take them back. She asked avni to go back to her room now, as she is still weak and need some rest.

Nurse : Mam...ab aapko room me jana chahiye.  Aapki medicine ka time ho gya hai.

Neil and Avni parted from their hug...Avni wiped her tears from her eyes. And neil took Avni back to her room...slowly and by holding her hands .

Avni lyed on the bed and Neil sat besids her. Nurse gave the medicine to Avni...and she took it with the help of Neil. Neil help her drink water and then kept the glass aside after she was done.

Nurse left the room after asking her to take rest.

Neil cupped her face and said

Neil : Avni...ab tumhe rest krna chahiye. Sleep for sometime okay... Tumhe aaram ki jarurat hai...or main yahi hu tumhare pas...he held her hands and kissed them softly.

Avni : Neil...how can I sleep...mujhe neend nhi ayegi. Mujhe mere babies ke pas hi rehna hai neil. Please mujhe vapis unke pas le chalo...please neil.

Neil : Avniiii....you can't go. Agar tum apna khyal nhi rkhogi....to fir unka khyal kaise rkh paogi. You have to look after them....and for that you have to recover fast.

Avni was very restless...and she just want to stay close to her babies. She cant stay away from them...even for a second.
After all she has carried them inside her for nine months...and now its difficult for her to stay away from them.

Avni (making a sad face) : But neil....

Neil : No but Avni....you will only listen to me. Now sleep...otherwise you know me....he made her lye down carefully...and covered her with blanket.
Avni can't help but listen to her overprotective and overloving husband.

He caressed her face and kissed her forehead. Avni closed her eyes with the felt of his touch.

Neil : sleep well...he whispered and turned around to leave
But Avni held his hand....and he looked back at her

Neil : kya hua...he asked confusinlgy.

Avni smiled and said..

Avni : Neil.....Thank You....her eyes were shinning with the happiness of being a mother.
No other feeling can match the feeling of being a mother.

Neil : Thank you...? For what. He asked settling himself next to her and kept his hand on her face.

Avni looked in his eyes and adored him for a second... and then said.

Avni : For always being there for me....and for giving me this happiness. For making me a mother...and for giving me those two little precious babies. I love you.

Neil looked in her eyes and smiled. While she was blushing. They both shared an eye lock.

They dont need words to talk....as their eyes speaks their heart out.

Neil slowly bend towards her and kissed her softly. She closed her eyes and felt all the emotions flowing down by him. Their breathes sinked together.

Neil broke the kiss and touched his forehead with her. Their eyes were closed.

The most beautifull things in the world can't be seen....as they can just be felt.💕
