The next morning, at the coffee shop, Niall doesn't even have a book.

"Hi," Zayn says, sitting down next to him.

Niall snaps out of the trance he seemed to be in.

"H-hi," he says.

Zayn chuckles.

"So uh, what do you wanna talk about?" Zayn asks.

"Harry help me maked cookies for you!" Niall says excitedly.

"Oh really? Thanks, that's awesome!"

"Uh... you not 'llergic to anything, ar' you?"

"Nope."

Niall smiles.

"Great!"

He grabs a cookie tin out of the backpack he always has.

He opens the tin and reaches it out to Zayn.

Zayn takes one, and bites into it.

Niall bites his lip, anxious for Zayn's reaction.

"Wow!" Zayn says.

"Do you like?"

"No, I LOVE it! They're better than ones at a bakery. You guys are great at making delicious cookies!"

Niall smiles.

"Glad you like," he says, and hands him the tin.

"Want one?" Zayn asks.

"But they're yours," Niall says.

"Well, while these are amazing, you must've made like, over thirty, and I'm not sure I could finish all of these," Zayn says.

Niall smiles, and grabs one out of the tin.

"So when your friend coming over, you ask yet?" Niall asks.

I nod. (Brooo, I swear I wrote a part about Zayn asking Liam about the stuff, but I looked through the last couple chapters and realized I either didn't write it, or didn't post it. Let's just pretend I did then...)

"He'll be back home tomorrow, he was visiting his family. He lives real close to me. He'll come the day after, around 9:45 probably."

Niall nods.

"Is he nice?"

"Very," Zayn says, "he's really sweet too, maybe a bit overprotective sometimes, but it works out."

Niall nods.

"Does he like dogs?"

Zayn chuckles.

"I don't know, he doesn't have any pets though."

"Aww, I hope he loves dogs!"

Zayn chuckles again.

"Anyway, it ten now," Niall says.

Zayn nods.

"Of course," Zayn says.

Niall packs up his stuff, which is just the headphones, which had just been around his neck since Zayn had gotten here.

They wave at each other.

(In cause you were confused, don't know if I mentioned this, but Zayn doesn't come around eight, he comes later.)
