Zayn waits for Liam, anxiously drumming his fingers on the bed.

Liam finally emerges from the bathroom.

Zayn sighs in relief.

"So, um..." Liam says, sitting next to Zayn on the bed.

Zayn doesn't say anything.

"I-I've been meaning to ask you something," Liam says.

Zayn just nods, looking up into Liam's eyes.

"Zayn... if I'm wrong about this... I'm sorry... but I don't think-I don't think, um, that I'm wrong about this," Liam starts. There's a long pause. "Zee, do you like, like... dudes?"

Zayn looks into Liam's eyes. There's another pause. Zayn bites his lip harshly, and nods ever so slightly.

Liam gives a warm smile. Liam scoots closer to Zayn, and brings him in for a side-hug.

"H-how did you know?" Zayn asks into Liam's shoulder.

Liam almost smirks.

"To be honest, I've always kinda known, I mean, of course you've talked about girls, but you're pretty bad at hiding your crushes."

Zayn smiles a bit.

"Thank you," Zayn says.

Liam smiles a brings Zayn in for another hug.
