Chapter 7 Mia
I looked down at my wrists. Petunia had put bandages on them to help them heal. I was sitting on my bed, the only one in the room. Everybody else was at breakfast. I wasn't aloud to have any because of my bad behavior. I wasn't hungry anyways. Hopefully Drake and Grayson were in a better place. A place that they didn't get physically harmed in. Or maybe they were at an orphanage for boys.
I got up and went to the bathroom to have a moment to improve my hygiene. When I got to the bathroom, I just looked at the mirror. My green eyes looked tired and scared. My blonde hair looked like a family of birds decided to live in it. I walked out of the one of many bathrooms and went back to my bed. I remembered seeing a hairbrush in my clothes box. I took it out and tamed the wild mess.
"Mia?" I heard from a voice behind me.
I quickly turned around and saw one of the girls behind me. "Yes?" I asked her.
"Are you ok? What did Ms. Harper do to you?"
"I'm sorry, who are you?"
"Mia, right now isn't the time for jokes. What did Ms. Harper do to you?"
"You mean Ms. Mean?"
"Oh my gosh, that's perfect! Now, what did she do to you?"
"She burned one wrist with a needle and cut the other one."
"No way! How deep did she cut?!"
"Not too deep. Petunia said that she went easy on the cut since I help my hand out to her."
"Mia! You're too brave! Nobody even dares to move whenever they get taken in there!"
"Well she wanted my wrist so I gave it to her!"
"I don't know how I will ever live up to your level."
I stared at the girl. Whoever she is must be a friend. Maybe I inhabited the Mia of this dimension. I just don't have her memories. How was I going to manage to figure out what this girl's name was?
"April! What are you doing in here?!" Petunia yelled as she ran into room. I know her name now. "Your supposed to be in the cafeteria with the other girls!"
"I had to check on Mia," April replied. "I was worried about her."
"Get back to the cafeteria before Ms. Harper finds out and takes you to the chamber." With that Petunia dragged April away and took her to the other room.
I liked Petunia. She was very nice. I don't think she wanted Ms. Mean to be so mean to us. I think she just wanted there to be sunshine and rainbows. I think she was forced to be here.
