I woke up at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday. Today was the big day. Blake and I have been planning this for a while now. I just wish he didn't require me to get up so early. I climbed out of bed and got dressed. I dressed causally because today was a casual day. Blake was going to be here in an hour, so I took my time.

After getting dressed I went to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth, combed my hair, and had a morning pep talk.

"Today is the day Armen. Today is the day you get a roommate. Just hope they aren't a monster."

I went and actually made breakfast. I cooked some scrambled eggs and bacon in case Blake wanted some. When I was almost done I heard a knock at the door. Blake was here. And he brought my roommate with him, just as planned. I ran to the front door and opened it. I was in love at first sight.

"He's too cute," I yelled.

"His name is Collin. I named him that because I thought it would be cool if he was, like, named after your Haunted brother." Blake put the siamese kitten into my arms.

"You wanna go get the stuff we need for him?" I asked.

"Yah. You already bought the litter box, right?"

"Yah, I put it in the bathroom. Anyways, do you want some breakfast? The eggs and bacon are almost done."

"Alright."

We all went inside and I finished cooking the eggs and bacon. Collin ran around on the kitchen table while we ate. When we were all done we ventured off to Pet Smart land.

When we got to Pet Smart, all of the workers were pulled to us. They all thought that Collin was so cute. Finally, we were left with Patty, who said she would help.

"So what are you guys looking for?" she asked.

"I just need some toys and maybe a bed for him. I just got him today. Oh, and I want to teach him to walk on a leash." I told Patty.

"Ok, I can help you with that."

We spent about an hour at at Pet Smart getting things for Collin. We got a leash and harness, a food and water bowl, a scratching post and a few other toys, and a cat bed even though I knew he would be in my bed every night. When we got home, I introduced Collin to the litter box and Blake went home. The rest of the day I watched Collin wander around and get used to his surroundings. I hoped that he wouldn't have any accidents the next day.

When I went to bed, I closed Collin up in the bathroom with his cat bed. It was just for the first few nights.

When I woke up on Monday I realized I over slept by about half an hour. That meant I had 30 minutes to get ready for my first day teaching. I ran around like mad trying to get ready. I didn't even have time to have my morning pep talk, even if I needed to discuss the dream I had last night. The dream that I had the teenage Drake and Grayson and Mia in my class. Surely it meant nothing.

I fed Collin right before leaving the house. I left him concealed in the bathroom again so he wouldn't make a mess.

When I got to Ruby Shire Middle School I was earlier than I thought I would be. I went to the office and signed in. They gave me everything I needed. Even the roster, which had a Drake, Grayson, and Mia. I was started to shake, but nobody noticed. I walked into the classroom right as the bell rang telling everybody that they needed to be in class.

"Hello class," I said when everybody settled down. "Just out of curiosity, who knows who I am?" A couple of kids raised their hands. "You few already know me as Armen, but this is school. I expect you to call me Mr. McGauphlin. We need to keep this serious." I paused for a minute. "So this is Mr. Marlin's 7th grade first period class, correct?" The children nodded. "I am going to be your substitute teacher until further notice. Mr. Marlin has some things that he needs to take care of." I wasn't going to tell the kids that they would never see him again.

"Alright everybody, I'm going to call role. I want you to raise your hand when I call your name so I can match your face with your name. Sorry if I butcher your name." I went down the list. Elaina, Kaylee, Katelynn, John, Josh, Drake. I paused longer than I should have. It was without a doubt the same Drake from my dream, the scar made me sure of it. I made him uncomfortable because he was starting to squirm. I continued on with the list. Carter, Ella, Venessa, Mia. I paused again, the same girl from my dream. Johnny, Charlie, Elysa, Lily, Taylor, Jack, Anthony, Kaylin, Herald, and Grayson. I looked at Grayson just as I did Drake and Mia. All three of the teenagers from my dream. I can't do this. I'm done. I'm out. Get a new substitute.

I taught the rest of class as well as I could. We just did some get to know you activities.

"Drake, Grayson, Mia," I said as the bell rang. "Can I speak with you for a minute?"
