Sakura's POV

After Hanna practically threatened Tamaki's life if he ever tried to leave, Mori climbed into the carriage and followed us back to Ouran. We had arrived just in time for the dance. I tried to stay very close to Hikaru and Tamaki most of the time, but I knew they had to go around and do whatever they wanted. I managed to slip away and be by myself just sitting on the stairs or on the floor against one of the pillars contemplating and thinking about what had happened today. When it came to gatherings like these, I liked to be left alone.

Every once in awhile, people would come up to me and ask me what was wrong. I told them nothing every time, and yet people still asked. Perhaps it was my running shorts and tank top. After about an hour, the Hitachiin twins had stumbled upon me. "Hey shorty, what're you doing-"

"Just sitting there by yourself?" Kaoru finished for his brother. Their friendly insults made me slightly smirk.

"Nothing. I just don't like being around a lot of strangers at once." I said with a sigh. Hikaru sat on the ground parallel to me. He was careful of his arm, as he had injured it and it was now in a sling.

"Well that sounds awful." He said. Kaoru sat next to him.

"Yeah. Why don't you come with us?" Kaoru asked. I shrugged my shoulders.

"A: I don't really like being around this many people in a public gathering and B: I look awful." I said and stared at my feet through my knees, because my knees were up at my chest and my arms on top of them.

"Well, A: Don't worry, you'll be with us the whole time-" Kaoru started with a smirk.

"And B: You look just like you do every day." Hikaru finished. I froze, not knowing if that was an insult or not. "Which is very pretty." He blushed slightly and smiled. I smiled ear to ear.

"Oh... Shut up. No I don't." I buried my face into my arms that were on my knees to hide my idiotic smile.

"Of course you. What else could be the reason I ask you to dance?" Hikaru asked. I looked up from my arms to see them both standing up next to each other in front of me, but Hikaru's uninjured arm was outstretched towards me, offering me a hand up. I hesitated to grab it, but once I did, his hand almost immediately closed around mine and helped me to my feet and over to the main courtyard. Hikaru grabbed my hand and began slowly dancing and twirling me to the music. Almost like ballroom dancing (which I had no idea how to do).

He twirled me out and Kaoru grabbed my hand, twirling me into him. He began dancing with me. After a few moments, he twirled me out and I was twirled back into someone else. I looked up to see that it was Tamaki. He started slowly dancing with me to the music. I put my forehead to his chest. "I can't believe you almost left." I said.

"I know, princess. I'm sorry I caused you so much pain." He replied quietly. I looked up at him.

"It's okay. Just don't you even think about leaving until you graduate." I said sternly, then smiled. He smiled back.

"Of course." He answered. He twirled me in, then out again, Hikaru taking my hand and twirling me into him. I accidentally grabbed his injured arm, causing him to yelp in pain. After apologizing, he and I danced the rest of the festival away. Every once in awhile, we would stop and socialize with the other club members. It was really cute to see Hana dancing with Honey because he was so short.

Towards the end of the festival, people started to leave. Of course, the Host Club volunteered to stay after and help clean. Once that was done, we all met up outside the school. "My fellow Host Club members, I have something to say." Tamaki announced. We all listened. "I will never try to leave this club ever again." He stated. I rolled my eyes and smiled.

"Oh I thought it was going to be something serious." I giggled. The twins chuckled.

"This is serious, Sakura!" Tamaki sounded offended.

"Well, you've already said it about ten times this evening. Of course we know you're never going to leave!" I said. He looked hurt. "All I'm saying is of course we know. You've said it so many times that it's in our brains. Don't worry, we understand." I said with a smile.

"Oh... Well I'm just making sure." He replied. We all laughed and headed our separate ways, the twins taking me him as usual. In their car, I rested my head on Hikaru's uninjured shoulder, and he rested his head gently on mine.

"Sakura... You seemed very... upset when he tried to leave. Very upset." Hikaru said. His jealous side was showing.

"Of course I was. He was the one that allowed me to even join the club as your manager in the first place. He's the entire reason I'm here..." I said quietly.

"You're right." He responded. The rest of the ride was quite. When we arrived in front of my apartment, we just sat there for a couple minutes. I didn't really want to leave the comfort of Hikaru and Kaoru, but I had to. I gave Kaoru a quick hug before getting out on Hikaru's side. I hugged him as well, but more affectionately. He hugged right back before watching me walk into my apartment, making sure I made it inside safely.

As soon as the door closed behind me, my sister yelled from the kitchen, "So how was the festival? Did you kiss that boy?" I rolled my eyes.

"No, Tira. I did not kiss that boy." I laughed.
