Sakura's POV

"Which one is it Sakura?" Hikaru and Kaoru said at the same time. They ment which store is the Galleria. None of them have ever been in a town like this before. I thought it was funny how much they were oohing and aweing over the little things like the street lights and the decorated windows.

"It's down there at the other end of the block. Just calm down, we're almost there." The twins were still holding onto my arms gently, which have progressively moved down to my wrists, and almost my hands. I don't even think they were meaning to do that. I'm pretty sure they were doing it subconsciously. Honestly, I didn't mind it...

"We're here!" Tamaki yelled and threw his hands in the air. Why was he so dramatic? He rushed passed me, Purposely breaking the hold between the twins and I and grabbed the door handle. He held the door open for us and I stopped just inside the door. They piled in at the entrance and started looking around like a bunch of baby birds searching for their mother.

"Okay, here's how this is going to work: You will look around and don't offend anyone, you got that?" They all nodded immensely and Tamaki and the twins saluted. "Oh, and especially don't call anyone or refer to anything or anyone as COMMONER!" I yelled at them. Then they scattered like beetles. Kyoya went to the fudge counter, Tamaki went to look at knick knacks and the twins grabbed my right arm and dragged me over to the ice cream counter. They pressed their faces against the glass so hard I thought they were going to break it.

"Whoah! Is this what ice cream looks like-"

"Before they serve it to you?" They finished each other's sentences. They looked at me with sparkles around their heads and grinned like little kids on Christmas. "We want some!" They said. "How do we order?"

"Well what do you want?" I asked them.

"A chocolate shake with whip cream." Hikaru said.

"And I want a vanilla shake with whip cream." Kaoru said. They both gave me puppy dog eyes and I ordered for them. They practically destroyed the counter trying to watch the teenager make their shakes. It was Masahiko, a family friend. My sister went to school with him, so she helped him get a job. He gave us a roof over our heads for a few months just after our grandparents died. He handed them their shakes and their faces overloaded with sparkles and they kept oohing and aweing.

"Thanks Masahiko. Here, keep the change." I handed him a ten, even though it was only eight dollars.

"Why did you let him keep two dollars?" Hikaru asked. "Don't you need every penny you can get to buy food and pay rent?" I froze. I about knocked his shake right out of his hands. I clenched my fists until my knuckles were white.

"No..." I said through gritted teeth. "It's called a tip. You do it when you appreciate and like their service and company." I gritted my teeth harder. After a moment, I relaxed. "I did it because I liked him. He's an old friend." That's when Hikaru froze.

"What...? You like him...?" Hikaru turned to look at me. "I thought you liked us! I thought we were your friends!" He yelled at me. I looked up at him.

"Not like that you idiot. He's an old family friend that gave us a roof over our head when we needed it the most! He went to school with my sister and he... he- agh!" I clenched my heart and fell to my knees. Something was seriously wrong.

"Sakura!" Kaoru went on his knees to help me up, but I was crawled up into a ball. It felt like a thousand knives were stabbing me in the heart.

"Princess!" Tamaki ran over to us and pulled me close to his chest. He and Kaoru hugged me like I was dying.

"G-guys, I'm not d-dying. I'll be fine..." I tried to stand up, but collapsed back into their arms. Hikaru was just staring at me. Kyoya was on his cell phone. How can he be on his phone at a time like this? "K-kyoy..." The pain intensified.

"I just called an ambulance. They'll be here any minute." Kyoya said. He slammed his phone closed and walked to the window to watch for them. After a few minutes of excruciating pain, the ambulance finally arrived. They took out a stretcher and rolled it into the Galleria. As they were putting me onto the stretcher, Hikaru held my hand. The entire time. I was terrified of ambulances and the thought of being in a hospital. We got into the ambulance and Hikaru, Kaoru and Tamaki piled in for the ride to the hospital. My guess is that Kyoya went to tell my sister what was going on. Hikaru was crying.

"I'm sorry for yelling at you..." Hikaru said in between tears. The EMTs gave me anesthetics to knock me out. I was fading. My eyes became heavy and before I knew it, I blacked out.

-------

I was woken up slowly by doctors in a hospital room. I hated hospital rooms. They terrified me. When I completely woke, I saw that the the entire host club was right there next to my bed, along with my sister. She looked so worried. So did the twins and Tamaki. Honey was bawling his eyes out and Hanna was trying to comfort him. Kyoya was looking at his clipboard and Mori was just staring at me. I coughed as I tried to sit up and everyone that wasn't already looking at me darted their head towards me. "Sissy!" Tira yelled.

"Sakura!" The twins said.

"Princess!" Tamaki screamed.

"Saku-chan!" Honey squealed. They all (except Mori and Kyoya) hugged me in a massive pile of arms. After they let go, Mori ruffled my pixie cut. I gave a pathetic smile. I felt so weak and sluggish, I could barely lift my own arm. As I searched the side table for my glasses, I felt someone hand them to me. It was my sister.

"Guys," I coughed, "what's wrong with me?" I slid my glasses onto my face.

"The doctors informed me that there is a small piece of glass lodged into the side of your heart. It will require immediate surgery. It wasn't doing any harm until you somehow moved it. My guess would be when you squirmed out of that cosplay dress, you moved the piece of glass just right to where it is actually lodged into your heart slightly." Kyoya said. He adjusted his glasses and looked down at his clipboard.

"You... YOU WERE COSPLAYING IN A DRESS? WHAT KIND OF DRESS? WHEN?!" My sister suddenly had razor sharp teeth, claws and snake hair. Her hair temporarily turned to SNAKES.

"They wanted me to cosplay Friday with them so I did. It was just a medival dress, I swear!" I said. My sister sighed and put her face in her hands. She whispered something I didn't catch.

"If I may ask, how did you get a piece of glass into your chest?" Hanna asked. I sighed, which hurt.

"Well... I'm pretty sure it was from a car crash about six years ago. It was so deadly, we weren't expected to live when they were trying to find us under the rubble." They all looked at me in horror. Even Mori showed a little emotion. "We were driving through an intersection on the highway when a semi with giant bales of hay came from the right just before us, causing our car to t-bone the semi." I started welling up with tears. "We slid a couple yards before we came to a complete stop, and that's when the cords holding the hay snapped... crushing our car with us in it." Tears started streaming down my face. "And I can just remember a little blonde boy, about my age, maybe a year or two older, in the car next to us right before we hit the semi. He was so happy, then the sudden look of terror took over his face. I could see him scream as he drove by, barely missing the semi as we hit it." I began bawling.

"Sakura..." Tamaki said as he stared at the wall. I looked up at him. "That was me..."
