Liam's POV

I could hear voices all around me. I couldn't quite place them but they were slowly starting to become louder. All I could see was black, everything around me encased in nothing. I could feel myself starting to panic at being able to see anything. Am I blind? Where am I? I know I am home in my bed so why can't I see?

A few minutes later I could feel a hard uncomfortable bed underneath my body. I could still hear the voices and they were getting closer to my head. I realized in that moment that I had my eyes closed and that I really wasn't blind. Struggling I tried to open my eyes but it felt like they were glued together. Gritting my teeth together I forced my heavy eyelids to finally open.

Of course I wasn't expecting bright light to welcome me and immediately shut them again, a groan escaping my lips. Pain radiated in my throat, my mouth feeling like cotton and like I hadn't had water in years.

"Honey?" Came a familiar feminine voice.

"Jenna?" I croaked out. Her face flashed in my mind and a loopy smile graced my lips.

"Liam?" The same voice asked again. Wanting to see Jenna's face I peeled my eyes back open glad to see it was slightly darker in here now. My eyes slowly focused and landed on my mothers concern face. As she noticed I saw her, her face relaxed and she slumped forward. "Mom?"

"Your awake!" A few tears ran down her face. I turned my head and saw my father standing on the other side of me and an unknown man in front of my hospital bed. Wait? Hospital bed?!

"Where am I?" I croaked out through my dry throat.

"Here drink this." I gently took the plastic cup filled with water from my mom. My hand had an IV in it as I raised the glass to my lips. I looked down and noticed my left arm was in a cast and sling. What the-

"Liam I am Doctor Marshall. Do you remember how you got here?" The guy at the foot of my bed asked. I raked my brain trying to remember.

"I remember me and Jenna coming home from eating dinner at my parents house but that's it." I said. I could tell there was something I should know about but I couldn't quite grasp it.

"Don't stress yourself trying to remember. Get some rest, your body is still exhausted from healing." He looked over at my parents. "I am going to have a nurse come in a check his vitals and blood pressure. If all is good he can be out in a few days time." With a nod to me he left the room.

"So happy you are awake." My mom said leaning in and giving me a kiss on my forehead.

"What happened?" I asked. I watched as both of my parents shared a look.

"Don't worry about it right now. Just try and get some rest. Do you want anything; more water, some jello?"

"Mom-" I started to say but by the look she sent me I shut up. I wanted to argue and demand to know what happened but before I could a nurse came into the room.

As she looked me over and took my blood pressure I kept trying to remember what happened. It had to be something bad if I am in the hospital. Jenna! Hearing her name made me sit up straight which was hard to do with my left arm in a sling.

"Where's Jenna? Is she okay? Why isn't she here?" I said in a rush. I felt terrible for not thinking about her until now. What if she is just as hurt? But if she isn't why isn't she here?

"Sweetie don't worry she is okay." My mother said but had a weird tone to her words. "Don't worry about her now, get some rest." I looked over at my father but he just nodded at me. Sighing I leaned back in the bed. She better be okay. I thought. As I laid there I could feel my eyes starting to get heavy. The nurse must have given me something before she left. With one last look at my parents who were sending each other looks, I drifted off to sleep.

The next time I woke up I felt slightly better. My head wasn't hurting as much and I felt more awake. I didn't know what time it was but I was in an empty room. I glanced around then looked down at my left arm. It was incase in a dark blue cast that went from my shoulder to my wrist. I struggled to remember what happened but I still couldn't remember.

The sound of the door opening brought me out of the my thoughts. I was hoping it was Jenna but when the two people stepped into the room my heart sunk.

"Look who finally woke up." Lennon said coming over to my bed. She laid a kiss on my cheek while Blake just stood there with his hands in his pockets.

"What do you mean 'finally woke up'?" I asked.

"You've been in a coma for almost a week Liam." Lennon said looking at me confused. I sat there in shock. Coma? Almost a week?

"Wait what?" I sat up not caring I was taking my arm out of the sling the nurse put it in.

"Oh I thought your parents told you."

"Nice going Lennon." Blake elbowed his girlfriend. She stuck her tongue out at him.

"Rewind for a minute. I was in a coma for almost a week? How? What happened?Where's Jenna?" I fired at them. At the mention of Jenna they shifted on their feet. Blake and Lennon shared a look before Blake shrugged.

"You might as well tell him now."

"Tell me what?"

"You and Jenna were in a car accident 5 days ago. You were coming home from your parents when a car hit your side of the car. You've been in a coma for 5 days trying to heal." Lennon said. At the mention of being in a car accident it brought it all back to me.

I remember singing in the car with Jenna then coming to a stop at the red light. I remember hearing her scream before seeing head lights crashing into us. The rest of was blank. How did this happen? Who was in that car? Where is Jenna?

"Where's Jenna? Is she okay? Please tell me she isn't in a coma or..." I trailed off not wanting to even think of the other option.

"We uh." Blake rubbed the back of his neck looking anywhere but at me.

"Blake." I ground out. "Lennon. Tell me where Jenna is now." I was fully sitting up now switching my gaze from one to the other.

"Wedontknow." Lennon said softly and in a rush. I didn't hear a word she said.

"What?" I asked again.

"Wedontknowivetriedtofindher."

"Lennon." I warned.

"Fine! We don't know. I can't find her okay!" She yelled throwing her hands up. "I haven't heard from her in 5 days and I've gone to your house but she isn't there."

"What!?" I yelled. I swung my legs off the bed and stood up not caring I had an IV in my arm or that my arm was in a sling. "Where can she be?! Is she hurt?!" I couldn't stop myself from yelling. Why Jenna was missing I don't know but I plan on finding out.

"What is going on?" My mothers voice interrupted us. Her and my father stood by the doorway looking between Blake, Lennon and I. "Liam get back in bed!"

"Where is Jenna?" I stared at her.

"She isn't here." My mom said her tone dismissive. I narrowed my eyes at my mother wondering why she is acting the way she is. I would think she is just as surprised as me that Jenna is gone. I watched as she kept her gaze off of me.

"Mother where is Jenna." My tone was low and dangerous.

"I sent her away. She doesn't belong here." My mom snapped at me. Her eyes were hard as well as her expression.

"You sent her away?" I stood there shocked. My mother sent Jenna away? Why?

"Because she caused this Liam. If it wasn't for her you wouldn't be in this hospital in the first place. She is just like every whore in this city, only wanting your money." At her words towards Jenna I felt anger flood through my body. I didn't care that they now knew about the deal I had with Jenna. The deal was off the moment I realized I was in love with her.

"She is not a whore mother she is my fiancé!"

"A fiancé that you paid her to be. You lied to us about her! She took your money and continued to lie to us. Jenna does not belong in our family."

"I made her lie mother!" I snapped. "I knew dad wasn't going to let me take over the company if I didn't settle down so I found Jenna and practically forced her to be my fake fiancé. She didn't even want to do it! She didn't want to lie to you! We were going to tell her soon but this happened. What did you say to her?" I was beyond angry. My own mother forced Jenna to leave me and while I was in a coma!?

"I told her what she needed to hear. Liam she does not deserve you. I know you made the deal but she said yes so she is guilty. Is anything that she told us about herself true? Was she going to lie to us the entire time you guys were 'together'?" She put quotations on 'together'.

"Mother." I gritted out clenching my jaw. "I love Jenna and she loves me. That was not fake. You just ruined the best thing that has ever happened to me just because you were angry!? Did you even let her explain!" My mom stood there in silence and I knew the answer.

"If you would have let her explain instead of blaming her you would know the fucking truth! Because you blamed her she believes every single word. She already thinks she is the cause of her own mother leaving her now she believes she caused this stupid accident because of you!"

"Liam she isn't right for you-" My mother started to say.

"You have no right to say who is or who isn't good for me mother. I am a grown man and can make my own decisions. Jenna makes me a better person, she makes me believe in love. I am going to find her and fix this and when I do you better be there to apologize even if Jenna forgives you. I cannot believe you would do this to your own son." I ran a hand through my hair. My body was shaking and my head was whirling with all the possibilities of where Jenna could be. I can not live without her. What I said to my mother is true, she is the best thing that has ever been mine.

"Liam I'm sorry! I just thought that-"

"Well you didn't think!" I yelled turning back around to her. "Jenna is probably hurt and god knows where."

"Okay that is enough." My fathers deep voice cut through the tension. "Everyone needs to leave right now. Liam and I need to have a talk."

"I don't want to talk."

"Well you are going to. Honey go wait outside okay?" He kissed the top of my moms head before her, Blake and Lennon filed out of the room. I had forgotten they were there.

"Liam." My father started.

"I expected better from you dad." I had my back turned to him.

"I knew."

"You knew what?" I asked facing him.

"I knew about the deal with you and Jenna." He admitted.

"How? And why didn't you say anything?"

"You don't think I know what my son does? I knew the moment you mention you had a girlfriend. You don't do girlfriends and it was clear you didn't really know or love her when I met her. I just figured you would tell me when the time was right."

"Dad I-"

"I know son. I know you didn't mean to hurt anyone. Your mother is just upset that her son is hurt. What she said to Jenna wasn't right and I know she will apologize to her."

"Dad I really do love her." I said feeling tears starting to appear in my eyes. I never cried but knowing Jenna left me and is possibly hurt because of me did not help.

"I know. I can tell by the way you talk about her and the way you look. Don't worry we will find her. She just did what she thought best at the moment and in that moment emotions were high. I know she didn't want to leave you."

"Jenna was...is the greatest thing to ever come in my life. I can't lose her dad." A lone tear leaked out of my eyes. I quickly brushed it away.

"You won't. We will find her but first you need to know something else." At that my body tensed.

"What?" All different kinds of ideas flashed through my head in a millisecond.

"The car accident wasn't an accident. Someone purposely ran into you and I think I know who it is."

*********

Jenna's POV

5 days. 5 days after leaving Liam in the hospital, 5 days after my heart was completely shattered. These last few days I have tried to forget about him but everything I did reminded me of him. Even the stupid coffee maker in Candy's kitchen did.

I would be lying if I had said these last 5 days have gone by fast, they haven't. I can't remember the last full night sleep I have gotten. With no where else to go but Candy's I was sleeping on her couch for the time being until I could find or go back to my old apartment. Just the idea of moving on with my life without Liam made me want to burst into tears.

The moment I stepped into Candy's place I bawled. I couldn't get out a clear sentence when Candy asked what was wrong. When I finally calmed down enough to tell Candy some of the story I was sobbing once more by the end. Even Sky couldn't cheer me up.

But now 5 days later I was all cried out. Huge bags were under my eyes and my eyes were back to their dull green color. I hadn't realized how dependent I and become of Liam until I was forced to be by myself. I was use to sleeping beside him and having his heavy arm draped across my stomach. I missed getting up and having him make me breakfast and dinner. Don't get me wrong Candy and Sky have been great but it wasn't the same.

After crying for 3 days and laying on her couch staring blindly at the TV, Candy forced me up to shower and at least get dressed. Of course that wasn't the easiest thing to do with my ribs always being in pain. I couldn't move around fast, couldn't sit up or lay down that well, and when I tried to get comfortable to sleep the pain kept me up. My body seemed to fight the medicine the hospital gave me.

Realizing that I was not helping the situation by crying everyday on Candy's couch I went back to the diner, Ruby's, and asked for my job back. Of course the owner Pete let me back immediately and thankfully didn't ask me any questions. I figured I should be at least trying to move on, or doing something to get my mind of Liam. My plan wasn't really working though. I was currently leaning against the counter thinking about Liam. I had thought the sooner I got back to my old life the easier it would be on me but it wasn't. I didn't miss working here or at the club. When I was at Liam's I would sometimes complain about being bored and wanting to work again but now I would give anything to go back to that.

I hadn't learned anything about Liam's condition. A few hours after I left the hospital the news got wind of the accident and started camping outside of the hospital waiting for news on Liam. Every morning, afternoon and even in the evening they would update everyone. It was always the same thing though. 'Liam Stanford is still in a coma but we know his condition hasn't worsened. The doctors say he should wake up any day now' blah blah blah. A few have questioned where I was but it seemed assumed that I was in the hospital with him.

"Hey miss can I get some more coffee!" A voice yelled bringing me out of my thoughts. I sighed before grabbing the coffee mug. After I poured the man his coffee I came back to the counter. The glint of light hitting my ring made me look down at it. A sad smile graced my lips as I stared at it. I was still wearing it even though I knew I shouldn't. I just couldn't bring myself to take of besides showering, I even slept with it but I rarely slept so it was fine.

Because of my hurt ribs I couldn't lean forward on the counters like I use to, I was stuck leaning up right and with no phone I was beyond bored. I don't know what happened to it, it was probably somewhere inside the ruined car. It is easier for everyone that I didn't have one anyways. I knew I could just go and buy one since I still have a lot of money in my bank account from Liam but I swore I wouldn't use that money. It was rightfully mine. What was I even thinking when I accepted that deal? I knew it was wrong to take someone's money, I wasn't one to do it anyways.

I looked over at the clock and saw I got off in 20 minutes. It was almost 3 o'clock and Sophia would show up any minute for her shift. I ended up telling her all about what happened. I kind of had to when out of the blue I showed back up at the diner asking for my job back. I thought she would immediately tell me that she was right but thankfully she didn't. She just pulled me into a hug and told me everything would work its self out. I made her and Candy promise not to tell anyone where I was. If Lennon or even Blake were looking for me I didn't want both of them to spill the beans. I knew that if Lennon and Blake knew where I was they would try to convince me to come back and I couldn't have that. Plus Liam wouldn't try looking for me when he got up. I bet Lilly told him some lie about me to make him hate me. Not that I really blamed her.

In fact I didn't blame Lilly for making me leave Liam. I knew she was upset that her only son was in the hospital and that she found out his 'marriage' was a sham. She opened my eyes to what I had been pushing aside since I met Liam. Not wanting to think about her right now I forced her to the back of my head glancing around the practically empty diner.

I didn't want to admit it but I did slightly miss it here. I missed the familiar faces that came everyday. The ripped red chairs and booths. The family aura this place had. As I glanced around my gaze froze on not one but two familiar figures coming through the door. My gaze moved from their faces to their hands intertwined with one another.

"Garrett?" I asked. Him and Sophia were only a few feet away from me and heard my voice. Garrett's gaze snapped up to mine and widened.

"Jenna?" I moved around the counter and made my way over to him. He still looked the same, although it really only has been 3 months.

"Garrett." I breathed out going to hug him. As his arms wrapped around my waist I helped back a yell at the pain. I bit my bottom lip before pulling away. "What are you doing here?" I looked over at Sophia who was looking at us with a confused expression.

"I well I'm here dropping Sophia off. What are you doing here?"

"I work here. Well I'm back working here." I corrected myself.

"Wait how do you know each other?" Sophia asked gesturing between us with a raised eyebrow.

"Garrett was my driver when I first moved in with...Liam." I chocked out his name.

"Oh?" She looked over at him.

"May have forgotten to tell you about that." He replied sheepishly.

"You guys are dating? For how long?" I asked breaking the silence. I started moving back to the counter and they followed me.

"For about 2 months now." Sophia replied.

"And you didn't tell us when we went shopping the other week?"

"Sorry." She sent me a look but I wasn't really angry.

"How did you met?" I started asking. Looking at them I noticed they looked good together. Garrett stood taller then Sophia by a few inches, and she seems to fit perfect into his side. I had always pictured Sophia with a dark haired guy honestly.

"We met one day on campus. I was heading into this coffee shop they have and ran into Sophia as she was leaving. She split her hot coffee all over me and we started talking. One thing lead to another and here we are." Garrett said smiling down at Sophia. Awwwww.

"What were you doing on the same campus as Garrett?" I looked over at her.

"I've been taking some classes over at NYU and the coffee shop has the best coffee." She admitted. I didn't know she was but I was happy for her.

"Look Jenna could I maybe talk to you for a minute?" Garrett asked a minute later.

"Uh sure I am actually off." With a nod I went and took of my apron while Garrett kissed Sophia on the lips. I looked away from them my heart hurting at the sight. I slide into an empty booth across of him.

"What do you need to talk to me about?" I asked.

"Well I..." He placed his hands on the table and fiddled with them. "I wanted to apologize again for what I did. I shouldn't have told the paparazzi that you and Liam were engaged. It wasn't my place to do that and for money at that. I just feel really bad about it." He glanced up at me.

"Garrett." I reached over and put my hand on top of his. "It is okay. If it actually wasn't for you things between Liam and I wouldn't have happened. I know I was angry at the time and I shouldn't have been. I did exactly what you did but with Liam. I accepted for the money. You were only trying to earn some for school." And I meant every word I said. If it wasn't for him tipping the paps off Liam and I wouldn't have done our engagement photos so soon nor would we have kissed. If we hadn't kissed then I wouldn't have realized my feelings for him. And of course if that hadn't happened I wouldn't have known what it was like to love someone even for a short amount of time. I forgave Garrett a long time ago I just hadn't realized it.

"But Jenna it wasn't right." He interrupted me.

"That is okay I forgive you. I forgave you a long time ago and I am sorry I haven't told you before. It is all in the past and forgotten. Don't stress yourself over it okay? Plus you have a gorgeous girlfriend now who happens to be one of my closest friends." I grinned at him.

"Thank you Jenna that means a lot to me." He smiled back at me. "And yes she is. She's incredible." He looked over at Sophia who was greeting a cute elderly couple. The look he sent her I knew he felt something deep for her. It was a look I wish someone would look at me with.

"You better treat her right." I warned him pointing my finger at him. He just laughed and nodded at me.

"On the subject of being treated right is Liam treating you right?" He asked. I heart constricted and I glanced down at my hands.

"Apparently you have seen the news have you?" I asked.

"No not really. I've been busy with Soph and finals. Why?"

"He's in a coma." I said softly.

"Wait what?" He asked shocked.

"Yeah we got in a car accident and in order for his brain to heal he was put in a coma. He should be waking up soon though."

"Why aren't you there with him? Is that where you are going after your shift?" I turned and looked out the window. It was grey today and windy. With winter almost upon us it was getting colder as the days wore on. Not much people walked along the street, not wanting to freeze. The weather was just like my mood; grey and lonely.

"We aren't together anymore." I said softly. If he wasn't seated in front of me he wouldn't have heard it.

"You're not together? Why?"

"Things just didn't work out. I...I just don't belong with him that's all." I replied smiling sadly at him.

"Jenna I'm so sorry." Garrett said placing his hand on top of mine.

"Thank you." I smile gratefully at him. "Man I really brought the mood down didn't I? I better go." I slide out of the booth and stood up wincing slightly. "I am glad I saw you again." I gave him another quick hug. "Please take care of Sophia for me, she is a great person. If you hurt her I won't hesitate to hurt you back." I warned.

"Noted." He smiled at me. "Thank you again Jenna. It was great seeing you again." I headed back over to the counter to grab my bag.

"Bye Soph I'll see you tomorrow." Sending her a smile I turned and headed outside. The moment the door closed behind me I shivered. It was only the beginning of November and already cold. It definitely was going to be a long winter. With a sigh I headed down the street to look for a taxi.

*****

By time I got home it was almost 4:30 and I was ready to change my clothes. I was looking forward to sitting on the couch and watching a disney movie I promised with Sky. She thought I was staying over for a slumber party so every night we had to watch at least one disney film to which she knew all the words to.

Thanking the driver I gave him some money before turning to Candy's apartment. Going up the flight of stairs I turned towards her door. Once I saw a figure standing by the door I froze. This person definitely didn't belong here and I didn't know how they found me.

"What are you doing here?" I found myself asking. My mother whirled around to face me. She put a hand to her heart.

"You scared me." She said.

"How did you know where I am?" I asked. I was more surprised then upset. I didn't have it in my to be upset with her at the moment.

"I saw on the news about the accident with Liam. I had to make sure you were okay. When I found your house you weren't there so I tracked you down here."

"How?" How the hell did she do that? It is not like I have a tracking device implanted inside of me.

"I know a few people. Can we maybe go inside?" She asked. Not wanting to be out here in the cold any longer I slowly nodded before heading over to her. She moved out of my way as I leaned down to grab the spare key from under the mat. Candy would be home around 5 or so with Sky so I didn't have to worry about them just yet.

"Um come in." I gestured once I opened the door. Why my mother was here I had no idea.

"Thank you." I closed the door behind me and took of my coat. "This is a cute place." She said looking around and eyed the barbie dolls on the floor.

"This is my friends place. I'm just staying here until I can find my own apartment." I stood there awkwardly not really knowing what to do. After my last encounter with my mother at the mall I haven't thought about contacting her again. These last few days she has been far from my mind. "Here uh...sit down if you'd like." I gestured over to the little dining table Candy had.

"Why are you here again?" I asked after a few minutes of silence. It was beyond awkward. I didn't know how to act around her. I didn't even know if I forgave her just yet.

"I wanted to make sure you were okay. I heard you were in the accident too. I'm so glad you are okay." She sent me a small smile.

"But how did you find me?"

"I asked a few friends someone mentioned you were seen with a girl a while back. So I tracked her down and found this address. I was just hoping you would be here." I sat there shocked. Who knew my mother would go through such extremes to find me. A part of me felt violated that she kind of stalked me but the other was impressed.

"Oh." Was all I managed to say.

"I know every time we see each other we get off on the wrong foot but I just had to know you were okay. No one really knows where you were or if you were okay." I didn't know what to say so I just sat there. With my emotions being everywhere these last few days I didn't know what to think about her being here and saying she was worried about me.

"I know it isn't my place to ask...but why aren't you at the hospital with your fiancé? I just heard he woke up I thought you would be there with him." I perked up at the news of Liam being awake but it died as quick as it came. He probably doesn't even know that I am gone yet or cares.

"We aren't together anymore." I finally said. I don't know why I was sharing this with her. She's been absent for 14 years and now here she is wondering about my life.

"But you still want to be." She stated.

"What?" I looked up at her. How can she even tell that?

"I know I have been absent for a long time but I know that look. The look you have I had once. It was the same look I had right after I left you and after I met your father." My father!? I never heard anything about him before. Back when I was little whenever I brought him up she would change the subject. I stared at her to continue. "I met Jacob, that was his name, when I was just turned 18. It was towards the end of my senior year in high school. He was the 'bad boy' of school. He smoke, drank, did all kinds of drugs, he even drove a motorcycle. At the time I thought he was the coolest thing since slice bread."

"One day he started to take notice in me. Me the shy nerd who didn't talk to any guys. I don't know why he did but he started talking to me and soon I became enchanted with him. Everything he did I thought was cool. When he asked me out I immediately said yes. Of course I didn't know what I was getting myself into. I was naive and had never been with a boy before so I thought I was in love. Even though Jacob cheated on me multiple times I kept forgiving him. When we would fight and he'd walk away I would look after him with that same look you just had."

"He was my everything or so I had thought. On the night of graduation I finally slept with him. A few weeks later I found out I was pregnant. At first I was scared then happy. Happy that I was going to have a child with the man I was in love with. When I told him he of course didn't feel the same way. He wanted nothing to do with me or you. After I told him that was the last I saw of him. He walked away and never looked back. My parents were not happy with me at all. They said that after I had you I was to move out and never come back and I didn't. You were only a few months old when I left and came here to the city." I stared at her as she told the story. I didn't know how she met my father and after hearing this I am glad he didn't stick around. He did not sound like a good father figure.

"The look you had in your eyes just a moment ago I had with him and I have now with Martin. You love him."

"I do." I whispered tears once more springing to my eyes. I felt so weak crying in front of my mother. And I hated that she could read me so easily.

"Then why aren't you with him?"

"We can't be together...it's complicated."

"Oh Jenna." She placed her hands on top of mine. "Every relationship is complicated but that is what makes it a relationship. If everything was so happy and fine all the time it wouldn't be real or even worth fighting for. Liam is a man who goes after what he wants and I know he wants you. Don't try to push him away because things are difficult." Oh if only you knew. I thought. "Things always work out for the best. If you were meant to be with Liam then you will be. Don't doubt your love for one another." She squeezed my hands.

I nodded before wiping my tears away. I didn't know that advice from my mother would be so helpful. With her sitting across from me right now it felt almost natural and nice. Yes she made some terrible decisions in her life but if I keep holding onto it, it will just keep bringing me down. I need to accept that it happened and move on. The only way for my wounds to heal is to forgive.

Forgiving isn't always easy and I know it will take time before I can even try to be close with her but with a step in that direction I think I can one day. Maybe one day we can have a semi mother-daughter relationship. In this moment I realized that I needed to start forgiving her. I needed to close old wounds instead of reopening them.

"I'm sorry but I better go." She stood up. I got up after her feeling lighter then I did when I sat down. This is what I needed. I don't know what I'll do with Liam or if there is anything to save but I couldn't help but feel less hopeless then I did a few days ago.

"Uh thank you for coming here. And for telling me about my father." I said shifting from one foot to another.

"You are welcome. I hope it helped." We headed to the door but before she opened it she turned to me. "I know you aren't going to forgive me just yet and I don't expect you to so soon but I hope one day you will. I want to prove to you that what I did was wrong and that I am trying to be apart of your life now, even if it is too late."

"I'm not all the way there forgiving you yet but I know. One day I will, I just need some more time."

"I can do that. I'll be waiting and if you ever need anything you can call me." We awkwardly leaned into one another and hugged. It felt weird but not as bad as before. "I'm glad you are okay and that you were here."

"Me too." I sent her a small smile. My mom opened the door and stepped out.

"I love you Jenna I hope you know that." With a final smile she walked away. As she headed down the stairs she passed Candy and Sky. I stood there staring after my mother feeling a weight being lifted off my shoulders. Even if everything else in my life was crumbling around my feet at least I was on my way to forgiving my mother. Maybe things were starting to look up slightly.

"Who was that?" Candy asked walking through the open door, Sky right behind her. "Is everything okay?"

"Yeah. Yeah it is." I said with a small smile as I closed the door.

Well there you guys go, chapter 39! There is only one more chapter left before the epilogue! Yes only 1! But also don't worry I will be doing a few bonus chapters after the epilogue. As you read I tied up a few characters already. If some of you have forgotten who Garrett is go to chapter 4, 12, and 15. He is in those chapters. I thought it would be a good way of having him show up if he was dating Sophia. :)

Also I hope everyone was happy to see a Liam's POV. It will be the last one of the book. I may do a bonus chapter or something in his pov later on but for now say bye to his pov's. I am sorry it kind of sucked. I'm not the greatest at writing in his point of view and I didn't know how to write him waking up from a coma. So if it is weird and you are thinking that is not what happens I am sorry! I don't know how it would be, I hate hospitals so I avoid them at all costs, and I didn't want to drag it out.

My next update probably won't be until next weekend, maybe Sunday. My parents were suppose to be gone Saturday all night but my mom ended up getting sick so I wasn't able to write. That is why I ma now uploading really late tonight. So next Sunday they will be leaving me alone so I will probably update then. I am busy all week baking with my mom, celebrating christmas and what not. But who knows I may be able to write :) Know for sure that the final chapter will be up before New Year's Eve. I will keep posting a things for this story into the new year so I can enter it in the next Watty's :)

If I don't update until after Christmas I want to wish everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY HANUKKAH, HAPPY HOLIDAY'S or for those of you who don't celebrate it I hope you all have a great week!!!!

Hope you guys enjoyed this long chapter!!

VOTE, COMMENT, AND HAVE A GREAT CHRISTMAS OR WHAT I SAID ABOVE! ^^^^^
