Dedicated to @Kurayshey she is so sweet!! Thank you for all the support and lovely messages.

"You my friend have a lot to explain." Candy said the moment she opened the door. I had barely raised my fist to knock when it swung open.

"Wenna!" Sky yelled running at me. I barely had enough time to drop in a squat to catch her. Her little body slammed into mine almost knocking me on the ground.

"Sky!" I practically yelled back as I hugged her back.

"I missed you." She said into my neck. Smiling I gripped onto her before standing up. "Where's my knight!" She asked pulling away to stare at me.

"Knight?" I glanced at Candy over her shoulder. She just shrugged at me.

"Ywes Liam." Sky said in a duh tone. I held back a grin.

"I'm sorry sweetie he had to work today but he told me to tell you hi. Maybe if we have time we can stop by the office and see him." I said the last part as her faced crumbled. Instantly she perked right up. Liam even had a 5 year old under his thumb. Damn him and his good looks and personality.

"We should probably get going." Candy said.

"You are right the driver is outside waiting and Sophia will probably be at the mall soon."

"Sky do you have everything you need?" Candy asked.

"Yep. I'm weady!" She exclaimed smiling. I grinned back at her while Candy grabbed her bag and one for Sky. With a nod I carried Sky out of their apartment and down to the car.

"Woah nice ride." Candy said as we came to a stop beside a black BMW idling on the curb. Liam had made sure that his driver would drive me, Candy and Sky to the mall and wherever else we decided to go. Before the driver could get out and open the door for us I opened it letting Sky get in first.

"Mrs. Stanford I will get the door."

"No worries Mark I got it and just call me Jenna." I waved him off. He was a different driver then the one I have seen before and he kept calling me Mrs. Stanford. I wasn't married to Liam yet. Once we made sure that Sky was all settled in between Candy and I we headed to the mall.

"So you and Liam?" Candy asked not skipping a beat.

"What about us?" I asked trying to play it off like nothing.

"Jenna don't lie to me. One day you are working at the club and the next you are living with some guy. What happened?" Sighing I turned to look at the driver. I noticed he had put in headphones and could softly hear music coming from them. As Sky played with her stuffed animals in-between us I turned to Candy.

Making sure she wouldn't tell a soul about this I told her everything from the beginning of meeting with Liam. I left out a few details wanting to keep them to myself. After I was finished Candy leaned back in her seat opening and closing her mouth like a fish.

"A lot to take in I know." I said twisting my engagement ring on my finger. I have gotten use to wearing it and having it off felt weird.

"Jenna how could you have done this?" She said suddenly.

"Wait what?" I was taken by surprise by tone.

"Jenna this is not a smart idea. You accepted a deal with a guy you didn't even know and plan to actually go through with this."

"Candy-"

"Seriously just for money? Jen you didn't have to do this for gods sake. What happens when this ends terribly? When his family finds out?" She said stopping herself from raising her voice.

"I know the consequences Candy. You don't think I didn't think about this a lot before deciding? You think I really wanted to say yes at the beginning. I was desperate for money Candy! I literally had 100 dollars in my bank account. I was working myself into the ground trying to make it and working like I did didn't even help." I said feeling kind of angry all of the sudden. "Yes I know it wasn't the smartest but now I would not take it back. This has actually been the best thing that has ever happened to me. Liam has made me feel better and loved. I haven't had that in years Candy years. He makes me feel whole. I...I love him Candy."

"I'm sorry Jenna I didn't mean to snap. I just shocked and just thinking about my past relationship. I'm sorry." She reached a hand out and placed it on my knee.

"I'm sorry Candy too. I know this isn't really the right way to do this but I am slowly started to think my life is going to end up okay. I have wanted someone to love me and not care about my past. Liam is that person."

"You deserve it Jenna you really do. If Liam makes you happy then I am happy for you as well." She sent me a smile.

"Enough of this serious talk it is suppose to be a happy, fun day." I said.

"You are right. So we are meeting Sophia there?"

"Yeah she said she would text me when she made it." I glanced out my window and saw we were getting close. Candy and Sky lived a little bit away from Liam's place, almost where I use to but in a slightly better part of town. "You guys met before right?"

"We did about 2 weeks ago. She is great." Candy said. I knew they would get along, they are the same age.

The driver came to a stop a few minutes later in front of the mall. I had decided we should met up at the other mall then the one Lennon took me to a while ago. That was a little too fancy for us.

"Mrs. Stanford just call or text me when you are ready to be picked up." The driver Mark said as he opened the door for us.

"Are you going to be okay while we shop?" I asked getting out after Sky.

"Yeah I'll be fine." He waved me off. "Have fun Mrs. Stanford." Not bothering to correct him I bid him goodbye before walking alongside Candy and Sky. Sky had her hands in both of ours as we entered the mall. Just as we walked a little bit into the mall my phone buzzed. Seeing that Sophia was here and over by Victoria Secrets we headed that way. The mall wasn't that busy but then again it was Tuesday so I didn't think anyone would really be here.

When we finally saw Sophia Sky moved closer to her mom. Once I had reached her I wrapped my arms around her in a hug. I haven't seen Sophia is almost 3 months.

"Jenna!"

"Sophia!" We both said at the same time.

"How are you? I haven't seen you in so long." I said pulling away from her. She looked the same as when I last saw her. Her blonde hair was a little longer now reaching past her shoulders, and her blue eyes just as bright as they usually are.

"I'm good just been busy working." She answered after she hugged Candy. "And who is this princess?" She asked squatting down looking at Sky.

"This is my daughter Sky." Candy said. "Sky this is Sophia one of my friends and Jenna's."

"Wike Sophia the first?" Sky asked in a small voice. Sophia looked up at me confused.

"Little kids show." I whispered.

"Well I wouldn't say I am the princess here, you are the cutest one by far." Sophia grinned at Sky who in turned moved away from Candy's side.

"You look like Prinwess Amber, Sophia's sister." Sky commented. I held back a laugh.

"Okay since we are all here now where should we go first." Candy said glancing down at her daughter with a fond smile. My heart constricted slightly at the sight. Sky was very lucky to have Candy as her mom.

"How about Victoria Secrets. We are already here and I just got paid so I can waste it all." Sophia grinned. Agreeing along side of Candy we headed inside. While the both of them looked around I made kind of just walked around with Sky. Sky looked around in amazement and I felt bad that she was here with us. It probably wasn't good for a little kid to be in here. Maybe we should go sit outside. I thought.

"Hey guys I think me and Sky are going to wait outside." I said finding Sophia and Candy once more.

"You aren't going to buy anything?" Sophia asked.

"I don't know. I don't think I need anything."

"What about with you an Liam?" Candy interrupted.

"Me and Liam?"

"Yes for you know when you are," She looked down at Sky. "together." She put emphasis on the together part. I felt myself blush at what she was implying.

"So you have!" Sophia butted in.

"I-I didn't say that."

"You didn't have to honey."

"What did Wenna do?" Sky asked looking up at us.

"Oh nothing sweetie." I said before glaring at the two women grinning widely at me.

"If you don't want us to keep talking about you and him why don't you let me and Sophia pick something out for you?" Candy suggested. I stared at her watching as her eyes flashed with something. She shared a look with Sophia and I knew they were planning something.

"No that is okay."

"Fine so what position do you-" Candy started but I instantly cut her off.

"Fine." I bit out. Handing her my credit card I sent them both a hard look.

"Don't go full out or get something really bad." Pointing a finger at them.

"Why would you ever think that?" Sophia put a hand on her chest like I had hurt her.

"Okay off you go." They started pushing me out of the store. "Sky be good for Jenna." Candy yelled then she disappeared with Sophia. Terrible idea giving them my credit card. I thought.

I lead Sky over to a bench across from Victoria Secrets. All around me were multiple benches and chairs, definitely put there for men to sit on while their wives shopped at VS. Sky sat next to me holding the same stuffed bear I had gotten her a while back.

"Can we go wee Liam after dis?" Sky asked looking up at me. Her blue eyes were wide almost as if she was trying to hypnotize me.

"Well if it is okay with your mom we can." I answered. "He said he really missed you."

"He did!" She practically yelled as she got up on her knees putting her little hands on my shoulders.

"Yes he did." I said giggling softly. "He wanted to know how is princess was doing." I watched as the grin somehow got wider on her face and her eyes lit up like a christmas tree. This 5 year old was clearly smitten by Liam. If she wasn't so young I would be scared that she really felt something for him. Everyone had a crush when they were little, Liam was just Sky's.

I still remember mine it was on a boy that was in my school. It was right after my mom had left me and I joined a new school closer to the home. His name was Andrew, we had the same teacher. Ms. Smith put us together as table buddies but I was too shy to really talk to him or anyone for that matter. He was the first person to make an effort to say something and from then on I grew a small crush. Of course I didn't know that was what it was called. Andrew was my first real friend and he slowly became my sun. Everything I did evolved around him honestly; he was the light in the darkness of my life. The only time I was really happy was when I was at school sitting next to him or playing on the playground together. That of course came to an end not long after our friendship had blossomed.

Someone had heard their parents talking about my mom leaving me and started to pick on me. And because I was friends with Andrew they did it to him too. After one day when some kids got to bad by throwing rocks at us, Andrew got hurt. A rock had hit the side of his head and he had to get stitches. His mom was so angry and instantly blamed me. Two days after being hit he came back to school but was transferred into another class and made sure he wouldn't get near me again. From then on I was friendless until high school.

"Are you going to marry Liam Wenna?" Sky's voice brought me back to the present.

"I...yeah I am sweetie." I replied smiling at the thought. Only a few months ago I was hell bent on not marrying anyone let alone Liam but now...things have changed. I was finally happy and in a good place in my life. I didn't want anything to ruin it.

"Can I be there!?" She pleaded. She put her hands together and gave me puppy dog eyes.

"Of course Sky. You can be the flower girl." I actually hadn't thought about having her in the wedding but now thinking about it I knew it was the perfect decision.

"What's a flower girl?" She asked although she messed up the word flower.

"It means you get to walk down the aisle dropping flower pedals before me. And you get to wear a pretty dress."

"Like a prinwess dress?" She asked excitedly.

"Yes just like a princess dress." At Sky's excited face I grinned.

"Okay where to next?" Sophia's voice interrupted us. Looking in her's and Candy's direction I noticed they had a few bags in their arms. I don't even want to look in the bags.

"If we see a store we pass by we can go in. How does that sound?" I suggested holding Sky's hand as we got off the bench.

"Sounds good to me." Candy agreed.

We spent the next hour going from store to store. I mostly stayed with Sky but I still had fun. Sophia, Candy and I talked about everything under the sun. I was glad they got along great. We made sure to look at things for Sky which made her happy. Sophia and Candy still hadn't let me see what they bought at VS for me and I kind of didn't want to look with them or Sky around. If I knew them like I did the stuff they got were going to be embarrassing.

Passing by Build A Bear Sky started pulling me towards it talking animately. For a little 5 year old she sure had some strength in her. Walking into the store I saw there were a few little kids there with their parents but it wasn't busy at all. I had never been in here before so looking around I was struck with how many different things you could do. I felt like I was the same age as Sky going over to the un-stuffed animals.

"Sky honey I don't think you need another stuffed animal." Candy said trailing in after us.

"Wes I do mommy!" Sky replied not even glancing back at her mom. I shook my head and held back a laugh. Such sassiness. Definitely her mother's daughter.

"Sky no."

"No it's okay. This will be my gift to her for dragging her along with us." I said waving Candy off. I couldn't say no to Sky, especially not right now after she had already seen all the animals she can stuff.

"Jenna-" Candy started.

"Candy it is fine. I don't mind plus I want to see what you can do here." I was slightly tempted in making one myself but felt like I shouldn't admit that.

"Okay fine but Sky don't go over board." Candy said looking at her daughter who was not paying attention to her at all.

"We'll be fine. You and Sophia can go to another store if you'd like."

"You sure?"

"Yeah go me and Sky will be fine." I waved her and Sophia off. Once they had left I turned back to Sky only to find her over at another bin filled with un-stuffed animals. Smiling softly I went over to her. I moved along with her as she tried to find out what she wants to do. While she looked I looked myself. From the corner of my eye I caught something I liked.

Reaching for it I pulled out a cheetah animal. Of course it wasn't stuffed but it looked exactly like one. Running fingers over it I felt the soft fur. I have always loved cheetahs. Something about them was just so cool and pretty.

"Wenna I want this one!" Sky said. Looking at her I saw she had a pink pig in her arms.

"Are you sure?" I asked. She had already said that 3 times.

"Wes!"

"Okay lets get started!" I said excitedly. Not caring that I was too old to be building one I held onto my cheetah I wanted to do. At least I didn't have to worry about embarrassing myself with no one in here.

Sky and I got went over to the stuffing machine to get started. The next few minutes was me helping her put everything she wanted in her animal. She wanted to put 4 hearts in side of it along with the stuffing. 4 for the people she loved as she said. Her, Candy, Me and Liam. With the help of her I did the same and we went to the next station; 'washing'.

I was busy having fun with Sky I hadn't noticed a few more people had come into the store. I was looking for something to dress my cheetah in when I heard a voice I didn't want to hear again in my life. Turning around I almost dropped my stuffed animal. Standing only a few feet away from me was my mother.

She was turned so I could only see her side and standing in front of her was a girl that looked to be about 13. She had dirty blonde hair and was grinning up at my mother. I couldn't really hear what they were exactly saying and I couldn't help but stare at them. Even from here I could make out the girls features. She looked like my mom...she is my half sister. I thought shocked. I stumbled back a little, hurt blooming in my chest. Mom my had other children right after leaving me?

I moved so I was slightly hidden and watched as a boy that looked the same age as the girl coming up to them. The kid had dark brown hair just like Martin Brotherson, his father. The kid seemed annoyed to be in here and it was clear it was his sisters idea. My mother grinned at both of the gesturing towards everything. Probably telling them they can get whatever they want. I didn't want to see my mother again after the gala but it seemed fate had other ideas. Of course she had to be in the same mall that I am, in the same store, and with her other children. The children she didn't leave. What I really wanted to do was go up to her and yell but I stayed where I was, frozen. The thought of ever forgiving her was not even allowed in my head. How could I forgive a women so despicable as her?

"Wenna?" Sky asked. Jerking my gaze away from my so called mother I looked down at Sky. She was looking up at me worriedly clenching her newly dressed pig.

"I'm sorry sweetie what did you say?"

"Do you like whise?" She held out a small t-shirt that said best friends. It was the same shirt that her pig had on too.

"I love it!" Squatting down to her level I put the shirt on my cheetah and showed it to her.

"How does it look?"

"Pwetty!" Sky grinned. I grinned softly back but my mind was else where. I was still aware of my mother behind me.

"Do you have everything you need for your pig?" I asked. I wanted to get out of here as soon as possible, hopefully before my mother sees me. I don't think she would recognize me from the Gala but I didn't want to take that chance. She still probably didn't know I was her daughter.

"Wes."

"Okay lets go check out." With her little hand in mine I made my way to the cashier. Keeping my eyes open for my mom. She was on the other side of these store with her other daughter. Seeing as her back was turned I quickly put our items on the counter.

"Is that all for you guys?" The girl asked typing something in on the computer.

"Yes it is." I tried to reply nicely. She was taking her own damn time when I really just wanted to leave.

"Okay that will $50 even." She said. Not even listening to the price I handed over my credit card still seeing my mother in the corner of my eye. I didn't want to show it but on the inside I was slowly crumbling. It was stupid fates decision to bring my mother to the same store as me with her two other children acting as if everything was okay. As if she hadn't given up her kid 14 years ago.

From the corner of my eye I saw her smiling fondly down at the girl. It was a smile I had always wanted. A smile showing so much love and fondness. I can't remember my mother ever giving me that look. In 14 years I have not been once looked at like that. If I wanted to be honest that is all I have ever wanted. Ever since that night she left all I have ever wished for was to see her smiling at me showing me she loved me and telling me leaving me was a mistake. Every birthday, shooting star I wished that would happen. And of course like everything in my life it never happened. Now I had to stand here and see her giving that look to someone else. A look I have longed for.

"Ma'am here is your card." The girl said. Her tone was impatient letting me know she had said it more then once.

"Sorry thank you." I grabbed it and put it in my wallet. Telling her to only put mine in a bag she handed Sky hers. I tapped my foot impatiently glancing around. If anyone was really looking at me they would think something was wrong. Like I was on the run instead of just avoiding the one person I don't ever want to see.

"Here you go." Grabbing my bag I said a quick thanks and held onto Sky's free hand.

"Lets go find your mom." Just as we were about to leave the store a person said my name. I instantly froze knowing the voice. I willed my body to move forward as if I hadn't heard it but I couldn't; I was stuck. My breathing became heavy as I heard footsteps coming closer to me. I wanted to leave so bad but I couldn't.

"Jenna?" I heard my name again. Something inside of me knew that she knew who I was. She knew exactly who I was. Turning slowly I came face to face with my mother.

Guys I am so terribly sorry about the late update! I know I said I was going to do a double update and that it would be up on thursday but it didn't. I am so sorry!! I ended up getting really busy. I went Black Friday shopping and didn't get home until late, then yesterday I had to decorate my house. So I am so very sorry!

And I am also sorry for the crappy chapter I couldn't seem to write like I wanted. These last few days I have tried to write when I could and nothing seemed to come out. Lately I have just felt like I am on my own and stuck in a place. I have tried to tell my parents about this place and this block party I am doing but they don't seem to care. Every time I bring it up they don't listen or just go 'that is nice'. The other day I was at Barnes & Noble and said "One day you will be here reading my book" only to turn around and seem them on their phones not having heard me at all. No one I know really cares what I do on here or what I do in anything actually. So that is kind of the reason I have been having a hard time updating lately. (And sorry for the rant about my life, you guys probably don't want to hear it)

Anyways enough about me...I hope you guys liked this chapter. I know it isn't much but I wanted to get something out for you guys. I promise next chapter is going to be filled with drama and everything you have probably wanted to see for a while. This chapter was kind of a filler and lead up to the next one. I am hoping to have it up sooner this week then I usually do, just to make it up to you guys!

P.S Just saw Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Part 2 and it was so amazing! Loved it!

As always VOTE, COMMENT, A COMMENT YOUR FAVORITE CHRISTMAS MOVIE!!!!
