Sorry that I didn't update yesterday.

I was watching Hamilton.

The Aria part is really short because I was a LITTLE occupied while writing this (also watching Hamilton), so please forgive me.

 "So you're telling me that in a week, I'll suddenly get magic powers?" I ask, confused.

Sammy looks up. "Is your birthday in a week?"

"Yeah..."

"Then yes."

I blink a few times before asking, "What are your powers?"

"I normally don't tell people. But I'll tell you." He begins, timidly. "My first power is light emission." As he says it, his skin begins to emit a soft glow.

"It's when you glow. I can control how bright it is. It works well for a night light." He chuckles.

"Is that rare?" I ask, genuinely interested.

"Rare? Not really? But it can be relatively useful."

"How about the second one?"

He takes a deep breath and then says, "Time weaving."

Huh?

The next day at school, Cassian looks disturbed. I'm lost in thought when he walks up behind me and whispers.

"Aria. I need your help."
