I just stood there in horror as the two strangers teared at the bears' face. The bear was not doing so good without his left eye, so it made it easier for the females to rip at its flesh without getting bit. Ryan, all bloody, let go of the eye in his mouth. It dropped to the ground and rolled towards me. I quickly jumped out of the way so it wouldn't hit me in the paw. I looked at Ryan again, who was silently trotting over to me.

"Hey, sorry if I grossed you out with the eye.." He whispered when he reached me.

"Uh.. its ok.." I glanced at the eye again, and made a face. I looked down at the ground, tired.

"Something the matter, hun?" He asked politly.

"Um.. no, and why did you just call me 'hun'?"

"Well... I dont know.. it just came out I guess.." He looked away, embarrassed.

"Its ok.. don't be embarrassed.." I looked up at him and smiled.

"Well, ok. For you.." He smiled too, and looked up at me with his dark amber eyes. I stared at him, lost in a little moment of bliss, and he stared back. It was really weird, staring like this. It felt wrong, but it also felt... well.. right.

All of the sudden, I felt a huge paw sweep me off my feet, and it all just went black..
