I crouched low to the ground and crept forward slowly. All of the suddden, things went dead silent.

I stopped immediatly and froze in place. Did he kill the wolf? Did the wolf kill him? Did he run away? Where is he?! My mind raced with thoughts, Calm down Over, your being such a whimp. You can beat off the stranger, you're a warrior!

At that thought, I pounced up and found myself suddenly in a clearing. The sun shined in my eyes brightly. I narrowed my eyes to see what was laying before me. If there was anything laying befre me, that is.

Then thing you know, I hear a loud, but rough, snarl above me, just near my ear.

In response, a low warning growl rippled through my clenched teeth.

"Hey, beautiful. What'cha up to?" A deep vioce whispered in my left ear. The voice sent a shiver down my spine. It sounded like a vioce that you'd hear from the most twisted, cruel-minded creature that ever lived on the face of the Earth.

My heart started to race and the only things I could hear were his deep voice, and my breathing.

I swallowed hard and bit my lip hardly. I felt a trickle of blood run down my chin and drop down to the ground.

My bottom lip started to quiver in fear. I won't die now. Not now...
