"Well what do you remember about her?" My father asked sharply.

"She lied..." I growled, staring him down angrily. "She lied to me when I was young. She said you were killed in a fight... But your alive! Why are you ALIVE?!" I screamed the last word, and that made him flinch, but he went right back to being brave.

"Thats easy to answer. I'm alive because I left you two. And do you know why I left you?" He spoke softly now, almost in a whisper.

I waited.

"I left you because I didn't want you to be like me.."

"Well that didn't help anything!!" I snapped. I was really mad now. I could hear my heart beat in my ears. It drowned out everything else. I noticed that I was shaking violently now. My muscles were tense.. It felt like all my anger and rage that has built up inside me all these years was finally going to burst free..

"Geez don't have a cow..." Khai chuckled to himself. Did he think that I was overreacting?! OVERREACTING!?

"DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!" I spit in his face.

"Um.. excuse me?! Do not talk to your father like that!"

"'Your father'!? Pfft! Your not my father!" I laughed sarcasticly at him.

"Your just going to have to get used to that fact, sweetheart." He said, his voice cold and hard as ice.

"Don't.. call ..me.. SWEETHEART!..." I choked out and darted off into the forest. I ran as fast as my paws could send me. I loved the feeling of the wind in my fur.. The freedom I felt.. I could run away from reality and just be me.. Run away from the pain.. The sorrow.. Life.. Death... and me..

All of the sudden I heard a THUMP and before a knew it, I was on the ground.

"Ahh, what the... Who are you?!" I hear a stanger call. They were very close.. Almost- Oh.. They were right below me.. The object I ran into was another wolf. Great.. Another one to hate me..

"Oh, um, sorry.. I-I didn't see you there.." I lowered my ears in embarrassment, and rolled off the wolf. I saw that it had pure white fur. A female wolf.

"It's okay miss, accidents happen!" She smiled at me, hopeing that I'd smile back. Yeah.. like that would happen in this kind of mood..
