I smirked as I again returned a warning snarl. I raised my black tail high in the evening air, the hot summer wind blowing against it. I stared her down with my amber eyes, dragging myself into her soul, seeing who was before me. I sniffed the air quickly, scenting that this wolf was in fact a female. She had black and white fur, with dangerous deep orange eyes that reminded me of the sunset.

"What are you doing here in my mate and I's territory?" I snapped in the female's face.

The wolf just stood there, snarling and slowly creeping closer to me.

"Answer me! Why are you here?!" I snapped again, inching closer to her until we were almost touching noses. I knew before she could snap at my nose, I would get her first.
