Chapter Thirty Three
Allison's POV
Stiles's color was miraculously returning to his body, but the black lines still weren't fading.
He definitely didn't look as pale and flushed as he had before which was definitely a good sign, but I still couldn't tell if he was actually still alive or not.
"Stiles?" I asked softly as I gently shook his shoulder. He made no movement at all, and for a minute I actually thought he might be dead.
Then, miraculously his eyes fluttered open.
"Al..sn" he slurred.
He was definitely out of it, but at least he was alive.
"Hey. Hey I'm right here. Are you okay?"
Obviously he wasn't okay, but still.
"M f..ne" he tried to push himself off the ground but instead I just helped him sit against the wall.
"You just died and came back to life. You need to chill out before you rejoin the fight." I was about to say something else when suddenly I was grabbed by the shoulder and thrown across the alley.
My body slammed against the wall without the sweet relief of unconsciousness, so I was left struggling in pain as I laid there.
To my right, I noticed that not one, but all three of them had been knocked to the ground, but they weren't dead. No, they couldn't be dead. They better not be dead.
Please don't be dead.
"Well well well. Looks like all of you are down," Emperor Caven spoke as he walked towards me,"guess it's finally time to finish you off. Only, here's the fun part. You get to pick which one we kill first, and second, third, fourth, and then we'll kill you, and we win. So, who's going to die first."
Both him and Sophia were looking at me, waiting for an answer, but I was never going to give them one and they had to know that, so they were just trying to make this all the more uncomfortable.
All the sudden, I saw Isaac stir and discreetly grab the pipe next to him. I made a hidden gesture to tell him to stay where he was, but Isaac was never going to do that.
But he wasn't looking at me.
He was looking at Stiles, who's eyes were glowing a brighter blue than I had ever seen them glow.
They'd better not be doing what I think they're about to do.
All I could see was blue trails of magic flowing into Isaac's pipe. As of right now we don't know what using his magic could do to him. Last time I checked, those lines hadn't disappeared, and according to Liam, every time he used his magic it made everything worse for him.
How were Caven and Sophia not noticing what was going on.
"No!" I yelled, and when Caven and Sophia both gave me weird looks I had to play it off like I was talking about the previous decision I was told to make.
"I-I mean. No! I'm not going to tell you which of my friends to kill because I'm not going to let you kill any of them."
Now they were laughing.
"You? You're down. You're defeated. You can't even get off the ground and you expect to defeat us?" Sophia spoke, but one look from Caven shut her up almost instantly.
He came and squatted down next to me, and smiled as I glared at him.
"You fought bravely, and you fought hard young one. But your time has come to and end. We shall not shy from your braveness, but celebrate it as you take your final breath."
Was he trying to be nice, or was he just being annoying?
"Are you sure about that?" He turned around to be met with Isaac and his now glowing blue pipe.
He wasn't actually about to do this.
Was he?
"Didn't I already take care of you? Just stay on the ground. I'll get to you in a minute."
Isaac wasn't going to just lay down the pipe though. Even Caven had to know that. If we're as brave as he's claiming we are, then we're definitely not going to stay down for very long when we know that there's a world to save from him.
"No."
Even though it was only one word. That one word was enough to enrage Caven almost immediately seeing as he instantly charged at him. He was so reckless that all Isaac had to do was move to the right and Caven went slamming into the wall behind them.
Rule number one.
You don't let your opponent get in your head.
It clouds your judgement and allows them for an easier win against you.
Well that's exactly what Caven has done and now we know who's going to win.
Isaac has the advantage. He's calm, and he's not too confident, but he's confident enough to know that he can do it.
Stiles is completely knocked out and I know I can get to him, but only if Isaac can keep these two clowns distracted long enough for me to go anywhere, or do anything.
"You rangers never know when to quit! You just keep pushing! And pushing! And pushing! Until there's nothing left to push and this is why everyone hates you! You will go down! And it will be me that executes it."
Then he managed to charge once again at Isaac, who once again just moved to the side causing him to scream in frustration as he hit the wall once more.
"You know. If you're so dead set on taking me out. Maybe actually try and lay a punch."
Don't get cocky Isaac. He could hit you with something you're not expecting.
And that's exactly what happened.
While Isaac was playing around with his pipe, Caven took that moment to clast him, and since Isaac didn't have the suit to protect him, he went flying as the blast hit his chest and the pipe went flying towards a random direction.
We might've just lost and I can't even get off the ground to help.
I had never felt so completely and utterly helpless in my life.
But what happened next could be described only as shocking.
There were six screams, one explosion....
And one body dropped to the floor.
