The Novelist

Vox Akuma, a demon that has lived many years now living in the modern years of 2019. Vox has a pretty nice apartment, with a few extra bedrooms, most of his room are empty, and he doesn't own a lot of furniture, he could use his demonic powers to poof some in the house, but he is trying to live like a mortal for once in his life.

Vox walked around the city looking for the store so he could buy some food, but ended up lost. Vox hated himself for getting so lost so easily, he growled and grunted, till he someone how found his way to the store.

And it had started to rain. Vox ran quickly inside the store and shook his head to dry his hair, he got a few stares but quickly walked through the store to get what he needed. On his way home he choice to stick to the main road so he wouldn't get lost, when he saw this boy, he looked so lost, and also looked like he couldn't find the cosplay convention.

Vox came up to him. "Hello, are you lost little boy?" He looked at Vox with tears on the brim of his eyes. "Lost..yes very, I was on my home when...everything.....everything changed, my home is gone, and there are tall buildings everywhere, flashing signs, and electricity in the light post....and...and..." he started to cry.

Vox placed a hand on the boy's shoulder. "Hey, tell me, what is your name boy?" The boy looked up at Vox after taking his glasses off to rub the tears out of his eyes. "My name is Ike Eveland."
Vox pulled Ike closer to him, "How old are you Ike?" "I am 20." "Ok, well I have some empty rooms at my apartment, so why don't you come stay with me and we talk for a little bit, and figure out whats going on here." The boy nodded his head, and followed Vox to his house.

Ike and Vox talked about what was happening, and how Ike even mange to get here, Ike was surprise to find our Vox was a demon who was over 400 years old, tho it didn't bother him, if anyone was going to believe him that he was somehow teleported into the future it would be a demon.

Vox did hours of research, and found nothing of a way to get Ike back home. "Ike, look, this is hard for me to say, but, I'm afraid that not even in the most forbidden spell books, there is no way to bring someone back into the past if they have been teleported into the future. Unless I knew someone who was born with special powers, which I do not have."

Ike looked disappointed and lost, his face showed nothing but sadness. Vox sat next to him. "Hey, everything will be ok, hey if I can't find you a way home, then I will help you, you can live with me, I will teach you how to live in the modern world, and give you food and stuff like that, how dose that sound?"

Ike hugged Vox tightly, and as he started to cry, he smiled and whispered into Vox's ear. "Thank you..." Vox was surprised by the hug, and his eyes had widened when Ike started crying, but in return to his kind words he hugged Ike back and rubbed his back and spoke back to him "Of course, it's my pleasure."

A few weeks had passed, and Ike was starting to get use to some things, tho he hasn't left the house since he got there. As a thank you to Vox Ike makes dinner and breakfast ever day, for Vox tends to bring home lunch.

Ike started writing a new novel, he hasn't gotten far in his book but made a bit of progress. Vox came home seeing Ike setting at the table on the new computer Vox got him typing away, "I bought dinner for tonight Ike." Ike looked up from the screen and pushed his glasses back up to his eyes. "Dinner! I forgot I was going to make it I swear, I lost track of time and I-"

Vox placed a finger over his mouth. "Shhhhh~ it's ok, as I said I bought dinner." Ike made a small sad face as he tried to hide the fact he was sad he forgot about dinner, seeming the subject would only get pushed away again.

They sat down and eat dinner, having a nice conversations over it, talking about themselves and the other, things from there past and the different life's they have lives.
"Ike, you need to get some new clothes, I will go to the store a buy you some tomorrow, okay?" Ike looked down at the ground and spoke nervously, "Maybe I could come with you? I need to learn more about this world and what other people are like, so let me come with you?" Vox smiled, and nodded. "Of course, I will take you to the shopping mall in the morning, and we can find some clothes you like, and look more normal in."

Ike seemed happy to be able to leave the house. By morning Vox had given some of his clothes to Ike so he could leave the house without being stared at to much, once Vox took Ike to a large shopping mall to teach him about buying clothes, and how different shops work. As Vox was walking him through the various places, Ike noticed Vox's hand was very close to his while they were walking, and Vox would occasionally look at him with a smile. After they checked out a store or two, Vox paused in a quiet corner of the food court, and held his hand out to Ike, who took it eagerly. When their hands touched, Vox smiled even more, and Ike couldn't help but smile back knowing that every demon had a power, and Vox had the power to easily steal his heart.

After shopping they went home.
