The Next Morning

"Dean remember lock the windows and doors when out and most importantly, look after Sammy" John explained to Dean as he opened the door with a suitcase in hand. John was going overseas on a conference, it wasn't unusual in his line of work.

"I will dad, I'm not stupid" Dean joked before hugging and kissing him, quickly followed by Sam who was about a head taller.

"I love you" John told them.

"I love you too" Sam and Dean replied before John headed to the taxi. Every time John left or hung up he told them that he loved them. Ever since their mother passed from breast cancer, he made sure to tell them, even when they
fought just incase it was their last.

"We're going out" Dean told Sam as he walked past him and into the kitchen,

"Why?" Sam complained, he wasn't one for going out.

"Well, you only stay inside studying or reading and you know barely anyone" Dean tried to convince Sam. Sam just shrugged, there was no way on getting out of this.

Sam threw on a beanie, jacket and his favourite red scarf before meeting Dean next to the Impala. Dean just threw on their dad's old leather jacket and as always the amulet Sam gave him on Christmas when they were little, hung proudly around his neck.

"Let's go"

The Shurley's

"CAS PLEASE!" Gabriel begged and begged his older brother.

"Gabriel, I am not taking you to the mall so you can go get more tie dye or necklaces. No matter how much of a sale there is" Castiel explained as he read through the newspaper.

"You don't have to come with me into the stores! You can go get a coffee or something!" Gabriel bargained as he dropped down onto his knees.

"Fine, we'll go" Cas caved in and Gabriel was already out the door. Cas promptly following.

The Mall

"Cmon, let's go and get some coffee" Dean tried to pull Sam into a coffee store that sat in the food court.

"No thanks, I don't like coffee. I'm gonna go look around" Sam excused himself and began to look around until he noticed a giant 80% off sign and followed it.

The stuff there wasn't half bad. There were some cute shirts and a nice necklace. Sam leaned over and picked it up to examine it closer. It was a wing with gems laced in the feathers, he was contemplating buying it when his clumsiness kicked in and he dropped it. Sam leaned over and picked up when he heard the words.

"Damn Moose, bend over one more time" Sam froze at those words as he slowly turned around to face a short teen with curly golden hair.

"Moose?" was all Sam could get out and that's when the other boys face fell flat. The teen cleared his throat before holding out his hands.

"Can I see your tattoo?" He squeaked as he lost all confidence in his body. Sam quickly nodded his head and gave the boy his arm. He looked at it for a few minutes before showing Sam his "Moose?" and they almost passed out.

"Uhh, hey... I'm Sam" Sam introduced himself as he pulled his arm back. A smile spread across the other teen's face.

"Heya Samalam, I'm Gabriel but you can call me Gabe" he purred, wiggling his eyebrows. Sam laughed at his nickname.

"Hey Gabriel... I know this is kinda quick but do you want to come over?" Sam asked as he scratched the back of his neck yet Gabriel's seemed to glow with excitement.

"Shit yeah"

Meanwhile...

It probably wasn't the best thing to let Gabriel go nuts but Cas wasn't too concerned as he walked into the small coffee store. He walked up to the counter and ordered his drink, it was a simple long mac. Cas sat down on a small corner table and looked around the cafe until his eyes met the gaze of a green eyed boy, instantly their eyes locked and Cas waved, earning a smile from him.

After a few more moments Castiel finally built up enough courage to go say hi. He slid over the the boy and couldn't help but drown in the shimmering eyes of him.

"You have the most gorgeous eyes that the Gardens of Eden could not compare to" Castiel couldn't help but tell him, it didn't matter whether it came across as flirting, he just had to.

"well, Your eyes are the brightest blue I could ever imagine on a person, I only thought that blue came from the sea or sky" he winked back and then they both snapped into realisation. "Well, you're hotter than I expected"
