The rain belted against the crowded two story. Inside were the Shurley's. The father Chuck, mother Becky and the army of children. Michael, Lucifer, Gabriel, Raphael, Castiel, Anna, Balthazar, Samandriel and Gadreel.
(U know what they look like and only two are important so I'll just explain Cas and Gabe... Laziness 101)
Castiel is on the older side of the Shurley's with dark brown hair that never seems to stop growing darker and little adopted Gabriel. Gabriel's the youngest with a golden mane of hair which he curls up and whiskey eyes with long earings, necklaces, eyeliner and rainbow tie dye shirts.
"Eya Cassie" Gabriel greets Castiel as he walks down to grab a drink. Castiel ignores his pain of a sibling and continues on. "Awww Cassie, don't be like that" Gabriel reaches into his black leather jacket and pulls out a lollipop "'ere have one" he says holding it out in front, waiting for Castiel to take it.
"Thank you" He mutters before trotting away to his room with his trench coat following. Gabriel pulls out a pencil and paper and slowly begins to draw up his dream soulmate.
"Okay he has to be... well a guy" Gabriel mutters to himself, honestly if his soulmate was a girl he'd flip because, well, he is gayer than a rainbow with sparkly panties on. Well Gabriel has a pair...
Gabriel continues to draw, he has to be tall, long-ish hair with dark eyes and a innocent personality that he could mess around with. Once he was done he trotted up to his room and hung it up on his 'soulmate wall' which was a wall filled with things he wanted to have in his forever mate. They included celebrity references, colour palates, clothing... or in other words he was obsessed with something less than half of people find.
Castiel sat down on his bed and opened his laptop and began writing, he had all these ideas for novels that he always started yet never finished. It was a Friday night so that meant he got a break from the gas 'n' sip that he worked part time at, it was crap but it payed.
Castiel played around with a storyline about meeting his soulmate in a coffee shop, he looked down at his words "well, Your eyes are the brightest blue I could ever imagine on a person, I only thought that blue came from the sea or sky" Cas honestly didn't care for gender, he only cared about their soul.
"Hey Cassie" he heard Gabriel whimper behind him, he spun around to see his little brother peering into the room.
"Yes Gabriel?" Castiel knew Gabriel had his moments where he was sweet and innocent and now was those moments.
"What if they don't like me?" He whispered as he slowly walked into the room with his head hung low.
"Now why wouldn't they like you?" Castiel motioned to the bed next to him. Gabriel trudged over and collapsed onto it.
"I'm short, annoying, fa-" Gabriel was cut off by Castiel wrapping his arm around him.
"Gabriel you are perfect, and I'm pretty sure that your soulmate was born to love you just the way you are. Just remember that this advice goes both ways" Castiel assured Gabriel, he was always worried about his soulmate. Gabriel was always a lonely kid, his weird antics and pranks always put people off. Similar to Castiel only Cas still had a few friend who were basically his family.
"Thanks Castiel" Gabriel smiled before walking back to his room with his brother's words of wisdom. Stopping once to admire his word.
"Moose?"
