"You don't have to do this " Tim whispered as he stood next to Chance now pouring a shot of whiskey. "Yes I do" he replied throwing back the shot.

'It's now or never' he thought, taking a deep breath."Guys, I'm sure y'all will have a lot of questions but please let me finish what I have to say, ok" he began.

Nodding in agreement, they settled in the back lounge with their drinks as they traveled down the road to Fargo.

"First, Jenika and I have been friends since college, as you already know.  So you would think it would only be natural for her to come to a friend for help and normally I would help. But, it seems she's not who she's led me, or any of us, to believe who she really is" Chance stated.

Tim looked at him, hoping he wouldn't feel the need to tell everything, he didn't want him to reveal something he wasn't ready to reveal, to be embarassed. In all honesty, he felt flattered that Chance was attracted to him, though he didn't quite understand why.

"Jenika's friendship apparently was self serving. What I mean is, she had ulterior motives. Her friendship was more, in her mind. It's become evident that she's been in love with me since college. She manipulated her way to be closer to me" he continued.

"Whoa, hold on. You..." Austin stated, looking straight at him. "If you're saying what I think you are....you're his best friend. What the hell, Chance...." he yelled.

"Let him finish" Tim stated taking a large gulp of the beer he was holding.

"Yes, she's in love with me and has been for a very long time.  She worked her way into Tim's life, manipulated him into thinking she cared for him, to help him get over the painful loss of Caroline, all the time conniving her way to me" Chance added.

Throwing back another shot, he continued "I honestly never knew,  guys, I swear. She also apparently manipulated Mina and I into making the decisions to go our seperate paths towards our careers a bit sooner than we probably would have, for the same reason, to get closer to me".

"This is crazy, you honestly think this is true?" Austin commented.

"It's true Austin. I found out the night of the party, amazing how truthful intoxicated people can be" Tim replied.

"That's just it, she was drunk, how can you be sure" Austin questioned.

Tim looked at Chance, knowing the only thing that may convince Austin and the others was to tell them the whole truth, but it wasn't up to him. He couldn't, he wouldn't subject him to that unwillingly.

"Guys, there's more to this than you know. It's more about me than it is her and I'm not sure you'll understand" Chance added.

"What...oh let me guess...now you're going to tell us your gay" Austin commented sarcastically.

Tim and Chance exchanged looks before he shrugged and said "Yes...yes I am...bisexual actually" he responded.

Adam looked at him as if he'd known all along, while he noticed Rob suddenly cross his legs and place his hands over his lap.

"What?" Austin responded.

"He's telling you the truth. This isn't easy ya know" Tim replied.

"Why didn't you tell us before? I mean I personally don't have an issue with it but you have to admit it sounds like a convenient answer to the situation of his wife (pointing at Tim) being in love with you, his best friend" Rob stated.

Pounding back another shot, Chance took a deep breath. He had no intention of letting anyone else know of his feelings for Tim. That was private, between the two of them, no one else had the right to know.

" I figured y'all would never truly understand and that's ok. I am who I am, I can't change that, I won't. Jenika's manipulating ways with both Mina and myself as well as with Tim didn't change me and neither will your feelings. But, if y'all would feel better without me in the group, then I will leave" he replied before turning and heading to the front of the bus.

Tim immediately stood, glaring at Austin, "You can be such a fucking dick sometimes "

"What did I do? I'm just stunned by all of this. I don't care who he prefers to sleep with. You have to admit this whole thing sounds like a bad Lifetime movie" Austin stated to Rob.

"Well, you better get used to it because he ain't going anywhere and Jenika ain't coming back" Adam stated following Tim.
