Luisa refused to travel with her parents knowing they would try to pry more information out of her before the trial but the ride to Madison seemed to take forever. She mentally kept going over the information she had gathered against her sister and at times would feel a slight pang of guilt for going against her own flesh and blood. It was only a slight pang though, she'd remind herself immediately of what and why Jenika had done the things she had to everyone over the years and knew it was time she paid the price.

Once everyone checked out of the hotel and had packed their rental vehicles they began their trek towards Madison. Dena had asked Tim to ride with her, Bobby and Emily but he graciously denied stating Satch would need the room of a full back seat in his truck so they both would be riding with Chance. Olena would be riding along with Rob, Adam and Austin. She was fine with it but it was more than obvious Austin was uncomfortable with the decision. She and Rob would be up front while he and Adam would be in the back where Adam could keep him in check.
Finally on the road the two and a half hour ride seemed to take forever for everyone.

Satchmo leaned his head on Tim's shoulder as he seemed to be looking out the window. Chance reached across taking his hand in his, "this will all be over soon" he assured.

"I don't understand why we need to be there. This is her problem, she's the one accountable for this mess, not us" he replied.

"True, but she did work for us. I guess we're like character witnesses or something. But don't worry, we're all in this together" Chance told him.

"I just hope that all Luisa has and whatever Olena provided, proves everything and we can just get on with our so called normal lives" he stated.

"So called normal? What do you mean" Chance asked him.

"Well, being partially blind isn't really normal now is it" he sassed.

"Unfortunately it's the new normal, for now, but it's only temporary" Chance advised him.

"What if it isn't" he solemnly stated.

"We'll cross that bridge when it comes" he replied, squeezing his hand as Satch licked the side of his face.

Looking over the divorce decree the judge hesitated for just a moment. Something told him there was more to this than what was documented. Why such an exorbitant amount given up with nothing expected in return, no royalties, no maintenance support.

"I suppose I'm just astonished by the contents. Normally these decrees are lengthy, filled with hatred and demands, infidelity even. But not this one, this one feels like he's just sending her off and saying have a nice life" he stated to his secretary.

"Perhaps that's all it truly is" she replied placing the final signature document in front of him.

"I guess I've just become hardened by the harsh reality of today. You're right" he replied, taking the stamp placing the papers between it.

"This divorce is granted and effective immediately " he told her placing the seal next to his signature.

James phone rang just as they pulled into the courthouse. Looking at the number he took a deep breath before he answered, unsure if he really wanted to know what he was about to be told.

"Ok, great. I'll let my client know immediately. When should he expect delivery of his copy? Perfect, thank you again" he replied at the news.

"Thank god that's over, now if the rest could we'd be all set" he told Terrence.

"Well, this time we're representing all of them and the corporation. Hopefully none of them will be drawn into it. We'll just present our reasons for letting her go, no doubt they will try to make it personal between her and Tim but he's been through enough already. This is a federal warrant charging her with assault against a federal marshall, the guys really shouldn't come into play with this" Terrence stated as they walked up the courthouse steps. They had been requested long with Jenika's attorney to meet with the judge presiding over the hearing to share the information they had obtained.
