Tim, Bobby and Adam had set up a conference call including the attorneys at both locations to hash out the details of how they could handle the situation with Jenika.

"I don't want to screw this up. She's been lieing to me, to others for too damn long. She gets nothing from me, understand " Tim demanded.

"Tim, just calm down. We'll be sure you're protected but there are some things she's entitled to" said Terrence, the groups attorney.

"Like what? I've worked my ass off to get where I am today, she's not getting any part of it, she hasn't earned any claim to it" he retorted.

"Unless you've made provisions elsewhere, she is entitled to any co-mingled assets, accumulated joint property, alimony unless she earns close to the same amount as you" Terrance advised.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" Tim exclaimed. "Isn't there some way around this. We've been barely married 5 years, there has to be something that can be done"

"Did you change any documents when you two got married, add her as a beneficiary,  co-owner, changes in your will?" James, the attorney Bobby had meet with them asked.

Tim tried to calm down so he could think. No changes in his will, the property in Texas had been his grandmother's and that had never been taken out of his mother's name. The inheritance from his grandmother, that he'd spent a large portion of with Caroline, was still listed as such. His truck and property in Tennessee had been his long before Jenika came into the picture. He'd invested a large amount into getting her career off the ground, that was more than she deserved in his eyes.

"What if we just give her a decent severance pay when she's informed her services are no longer needed" Adam asked.

"This is not your mess, Adam. It's mine. I can't have you and the guys paying for my mistakes" Tim stated.

"We're family Tim and family sticks together. Besides, she's employed by Home Free Inc. We're a business, we can do this" Adam replied. Terrance nodded in agreement.

"She's going to fight this, I just know it. What happens then" he asked.

"Well, she can sue both of you, but that's if she's willing to have everything go public. You may want to consider buying her out" James advised.

"At what cost" Tim asked, pacing around the room.

"That's up to you. You can make an offer, hope she takes it or prepare to fight in court where everything becomes public record" James replied.

"Everything?" Tim asked.

"Yes everything. Is there something you need to tell us, Tim. We can't help you without knowing the truth, the whole truth" Terrance advised.

Tim looked at Bobby then stared at Adam through the screen. He couldn't, he couldn't reveal everything, it wasn't worth what could happen.

"I want my family protected, my mother and Emily. She doesn't get anywhere near them, understood" Tim stated.

"Absolutely" James replied while Terrance agreed.

Tim paced a bit more "the band too. I want her fired, Adam"

"Papers are already drawn up and ready to be served, Tim" he advised him.

"We're ready to back you, financially as well, Tim. The decision is yours, tell us what you want" Terrance stated.

There was no way in hell he was going to betray Chance. "Make her a modest financial offer, she keeps all rights to anything from her musical career, she doesn't touch mine or the groups assets. That's it, nothing more" Tim responded.

"You got it, she'll be served tomorrow" Terrance replied.
