"Well that went well" Chance joked as he and Olena walked outside the hotel.

"He's still just as immature as he's always been. I don't know why I thought he would change by now" she remarked as they walked along.

"Yeah, but some of it right now is he's scared of what's happening with Tim. They're like brothers, always have been but he can't fix this or control what happens. Hell we're all scared, and taken aback by Jenika's deceit" he explained sitting on a nearby bench.

"I'm sorry for what she's done to you and Tim, neither of you deserve the lies and manipulation. I wish I'd paid more attention, the signs were there huh" Olena told him, taking his hand in hers.

"Why didn't I see it, that's what bothers me. And here I kind of pushed the two together, thinking she could heal his broken heart. I would never had if I'd known" he solemnly replied.

"So does he, um..know how you feel" she asked cautiously.

Chance turned to her, trying to hide the truth from her, "what do you mean".

"Chance, I know..I've known for quite sometime and I'm pretty sure Adam does too. It wasn't hard to figure out" she smiled.

"What is it you think you know" he asked quietly.

Olena moved closer, taking both of his hands in hers, "I've seen the way your face lights up whenever he's around, how you've watched him on stage, how you've taken care of him lately and the predicament you placed yourself in with Jenika to help save him. You're in love with him" she whispered.

Chance blushed at the thought, it was true he was in love with Tim but no one else knew, not even Tim really. He expressed his infatuation with him but he had not been sure that he fully understood the magnitude of those feelings.

"It's a good thing, really it is Chance. He needs someone like you in his life" Olena told him.

"He doesn't feel the same, though. He's married, he's straight" Chance replied looking at his feet as he leaned forward.

"How do you know. You were with Mina but that didn't mean you only preferred women" she said.

"It's different though, he had Caroline" he added.

"I think you've underestimated Timmy. I was there watching what he went through with you right from the beginning. There's a connection, more than friendship or brotherhood. He wanted, no he needed to take care of you. He was so scared he thought he was going to lose you too" she told him.

"I don't know girl" he shook his head.

"You both are so stubborn. You don't seem to realize what has been right in front of you the entire time" she stated "something, someone perhaps, has brought you into each others lives. If I were you I would seize every moment I could"

"What about you, anyone in your life" he asked diverting the subject from him.

"Just Basil" she smiled holding her phone for him to see the full face of a kitten on the screen.

"He's a cutie" he remarked as she scrolled through more pictures.

"Any humans in your life" he chuckled.

"No, I'm very happy on my own, I've finally found my independence" she beamed.

"I'm sorry for what happened, you know between you and Austin. I guess I didn't see it coming, I should have been there for you" he apologized.

"It's all good. We just outgrew each other. I had other interests and dreams, they just didn't match his, that's all" she replied placing her phone back in her purse.

"You're pretty amazing you know that" Chance remarked.

"I know" she laughed, "let's head back before anymore scandal is conjured up".
