Time skip three days Aphmau's POV
I wake up to my stomach growling. Since Zane's been here I can't eat. So I'm basically starving now. I sigh as I do my daily rounds until dusk. When I reach my house there's a note on the door. I take it down and read it.
Dear Aphmau,
I'm truly sorry for having Aaron take your stuff but I had to know. I want to protect you Aphmau I love you too much to lose you. So please just meet Aaron and Zane at the clearing north of town. We promise to protect you.
Yours truly, Katelyn
I stand there shocked by Katelyn's note but I decided to meet them and start to head of to the meeting place.

Aaron's POV
I felt terrible, but I had to know. We had to know if she was a ghoul. I couldn't shake the thought of her eating someone out of my head. I'm pretty sure that none of us can not even a criminal. But here she was about to eat someone right in front of us. I felt sick and I assume that Zane does too. But we have to do it, we have to protect her cause Katelyn will kill us if we don't. Zane and I meet up with Aphmau at the clearing. We really are doing this aren't we? I think to myself as I set the tied up armor-less guard on the ground behind a bush and crouch down next to him.

Aphmau's POV
Zane walks up to me and smirks I feel my hunger grow as he steps closer to me. "I know who you are." He whispers in my ear, "It's a pleasure to meet you......Black Cloaked Beauty." He says louder than before. "What makes you think I'm her?" I ask barely louder than a whisper. He holds up my cloak and katana's. "What makes you think those are mine?" I ask cooly. "They were in your house after all Aphmau." He whispers in my ear once more. "I'll keep your secret to myself...on one condition." He says flatly. "What's the condition?" I ask nervous for what it was going to be. "You answer one simple question." Zane and I have been friends ever since he changed from evil to good. Ever since then he's always cared for me like a brother. "Is it true that you like girls and have a crush on Lady Katelyn the FireFist?" He whispers in my ear. "I'm not saying anything about that." I say with a straight face. "Suit yourself." He smirks as he steps back. "I bet a certain ghouls starving by now." He says as Aaron brings out one of Zane's guards who's tied up and armor-less. Aaron holds the struggling man still as Zane cuts his hand with his dagger. The scent of blood fills my nose making my stomach growl and mouth water. "Go on, eat him he works for my father so I don't care what happens to him." Zane says as he and Aaron back up. I lick my lips hungrily and ask cautiously, "You sure? This isn't some trick is it?" "No I assure you that this isn't a trick. We want to help with your eating problem. This was the only thing we could come up with. We feed you criminals who deserve to die and you get fed without any villagers knowing. It's a win win situation." Aaron answers smiling and for the first time ever I see Zane actually smile. As the boys walk up to me I look over to the frightened guard with my stomach hurting and growling like crazy. I give in and take Zane's dagger and pounce on him stuffing myself until I can't eat anymore. Now satisfied I stand up after he was eaten. I start to think, Why would Aaron and Zane do this? I thought, they would never do anything like this. I had blood all over me. The writhing screams from the guard still echoing through my head. "I'm a monster. I'm nothing more than a monster!" I yelled backing up from the dead and half-eaten guard on the floor. When I'm a short distance away I look to the boys and ask, "Why, why did you two do this?"
