Aphmau's POV
Once I knew Aaron wasn't following me I stopped and started walking back. When I got back to the house Zoey told me that Aaron was waiting for me in my room. I walk upstairs and gulp as I open the door. Surprisingly, he's not there but the window's open. I shrugged it off as I got my cleaning solution and cloth for my katana. When I look under my bed I don't find both katana's I only find one. Aaron must've taken one while he was up here. Good thing he didn't grab the bloody one. I think to myself as I clean my weapon. Then I hear a knock on my door and shove the stuff back under my bed and answer the door to find Garroth standing there with a letter. He hands me the letter without saying a word, I take the letter and he leaves. I close the door and read the letter.
Dear Lord Aphmau of Phoenix Drop,
I will visit your village to investigate a possible ghoul situation. Don't worry I will only stay a few days and it will only be me and two guards. I would also like to live in your village but that's up to you. I hope that you except cause I can't stand my father anymore.
Zane
I put the letter on my desk and head to bed.

Aaron's POV
Once Aphmau was asleep I snuck into her bedroom window and found a black cloak and another katana under her bed. I took her cloak seeing as I already have one of her katana's. When I'm safely back at my base  I get my communication amulet and tell Zane everything. We've been talking ever since the first body was found. After I finished giving Zane the cloak and sword I head back to my camp and fall asleep.

Time to skip to morning

Aphmau's POV
I woke up, got dressed did half of my daily rounds before Garroth came and told me that Zane was at the docks and headed to the docks to see Zane stepping off of his boat. He walks up to me and says, "Would you like to join me for lunch lord Aphmau?" I just nod cause no one can find out my secret. He leads me to a picnic by the Irene statue. We sit down and he sets the food out, just the smell makes me nauseous but I keep a smile on my face. I take little pieces and pretend to chew while I swallow them whole. I stop eating before I throw up and tell him that I'm full. He nods and I walk back to my house, I go behind the house so I can throw up without anyone seeing. When I'm done I head in the back door and walk up to my room for a nap so I can sleep off this sickness.

Aaron's POV
"She threw up after the picnic." I tell Zane through the amulet. "She's definitely a ghoul. Aaron what are we going to do?" He asks scared. "I say we keep her secret after all we treat her like a sister." I say concerned for her safety. "I agree we can even feed her the O'kasis guards who serve my father." He suggests. "Sounds good. But we can't tell the villages at all costs." I say seriously. "Right. Aaron, go get her other katana and meet me at your camp I have an idea." I nod as the amulet turns off and I climb into Aphmau's window. When I'm in her room I see her asleep and that her katana is hidden underneath her mattress. I quickly pull it out and jump out the window and race to my camp.
