*Alan POV*
"Ok Alan what do you want" Caleb asks
"I need to hurt those two guys in the room back there" I say
"Woah Alan I know we have t talked to you in a while but violence isn't an answer" Spencer says
"No no no. I told the boys that they need to sleep and if they didn't something would happen to them." I say
"But they did sleep" Caleb says
"No they didn't" Donny and I say
"I've known Chad for a while and I could tell he was faking" I say
"And I'm related to Joe. I could tell he wasn't asleep. He wasn't smiling." Donny says
"What are we going to do to them" Spencer asks
"I have an idea" I say
I tell them the plan and we get in the vehicle. We get what we need from the store then go back.
"Hey girls why don't you five go get some breakfast" Caleb says
"Ok" they say
"Don't leave us alone with them" Joey says
"Oh come on Joe Alan is there." Fallon says
The girls leave and Spencer shuts the door. Before they can talk we gag them. We grab the plastic wrap and get to work. After ten minutes or so we finish. We take a picture then take the gag out.
"What the heck Alan" Chad says
"I told you boys to sleep" I say
"But daddy we weren't tired and Disney movies were on. Surely you'd understand" Joey whines
"Oh boys you should never underestimate the Richard Alan Powell" I say
A few seconds later and the girls walk in.
"What the heck did you do Spencer and Donald" Yuna asks
"It wasn't them it was Alan" Chad mumbles
"Richard Alan Powell. Do we have to call your wife" Destiny says
"No. She knows I'm here. She knows I was gonna do something" I smile
"Ugh Alan out of all people" Joey groans
"Guys we love you all but we're tired" Chad says
"Oh now you choose to sleep" I say
"We weren't tired last night daddy" Joey says
"Yeah daddy me need nap" Chad says
"Oh babies we'll leave you be. Have a good nap." I say
"Tuck us in" Chad says
"No way Chadwick the was a one time thing" I say
"Please" Joey says
"Get your girlfriends to do it" I say
"Well actually we need this wrap off" Chad says
"Hey who wants Ice cream" Caleb asks
"Me" lily cheers
We all walk out leaving Chad and Joey to suffer.
*Joey POV*
The others walk out and Chad presses the call button a nurse rushes in but then just laughs.
"Um our friends got a little annoyed with us. Can we get some help getting out of this" I ask
She walks out then comes back with a few more nurses and scissors. After twenty minutes they finish.
"Thank you" Chad says
"Yeah thanks" I yawn
"No problem boys now get some rest you've been up 24 hours" one says
They all walk out and just as we're about to fall asleep someone else walks in. I sit up and see that it's Linda.
"Hey Linda what are you doing in here" Chad asks
"Oh hey Chad. The nurse for this room went on vacation so I'm now your nurse." She says
"Yeah" I grumble
"What's the matter Joe" she asks
"We've been up for 24 hours and Joseph here gets grumpy when he's tired" Chad says
"No. It's that I just remembered that we'll be in here for Christmas and we won't get to spend it with our family" I say
"It will all be alright now get some sleep" she says
She walks out and I drift off to sleep.
*Lilly POV*
We get home and I go upstairs to my room. I close and lock the door then sit on my bed. I over heard my dad and uncles talking and him and uncle Joey are going to miss Christmas. I get off my bed and go to my window. I look outside and don't see anyone. I climb out into the roof then over to the tree. I climb down the tree then take off running down the sidewalk. I keep running till I hear voices behind me. I turn around and see Jamie and Danny running towards me I run to them and jump in Jamie's arms.
"Hey Lilly where are you going to" he asks
"Away" I say
"And whys that" Danny asks
"Because Daddy and Uncle Joey won't get to celebrate Christmas with us. So if I run away we won't have to celebrate Christmas then they won't have to miss it" I say
"Well why are they going to miss it" Jamie asks
"Daddy and uncle Joey hurt. They in the hospital" I say
"Hey I have to get back to work and so does Jamie how about we take you to play with Frank" Danny asks
"Ok" I say
We get in Danny's car and Danny drives to where Frank works. We get out and Danny carries me. We go inside and up to the top floor.
"Hey baker can you let my dad know his sons are here and we need to see him" Jamie says
The lady walks away then comes back nodding. We go to a door and Danny opens it. We go in and Frank is sitting at a desk.
"Hello sons and Lilly" Frank says
A minute later Erin walks in.
"Well hello I didn't know there was a party in dads office" she says
"Ok boys what do you need" Frank's asks
"Can Lilly hang here until we're done work? Whoever is done first will come get her but we just need to get back to work" Danny says
"Yeah sure" Frank says
"Now Erin what do you need" Frank asks
"Oh I was just coming because I had to talk to my brothers and Eddie said they were here" she says
"Ok" Frank says
"Bye" I say
"Bye Lilly" they say
They leave and I go over to Frank. He picks me up and places me on his lap.
"Now miss Lillian something seems to be bothering you. What is it" he asks
"Daddy and uncle Joey are in hospital and going to miss Christmas in two days. It would be my first Christmas with daddy. And Asher's first Christmas with uncle Joey. Actually his first Christmas in general" I say crying
"Ssh hey Lilly it's okay. I think we better go talk with your other uncles about this. Why is your daddy and uncle Joey in the hospital" he says
"Daddy sick and uncle Joey got hurt." I say
"Oh ok. Now we should go" he says
He sets me on the ground and he gets up and puts his jacket on. He grabs my hand and we walk out.
"Baker cancel all my meetings for the rest of the day" Frank says
"Will do sir" the lady says
We go outside and to a vehicle. We get in the back and Frank tells the driver something. The vehicle starts moving then stops outside my house we get out and I reach my hands out for him to pick me up. He does and goes to the front door. He knocks and Uncle Caleb opens the door.
"Lilly there you. We were looking for you" uncle Caleb says
"Hey Caleb" Frank says
"Hey Frank where did you find Lilly at" uncle Caleb asks
"I didn't. Jamie and Danny did." Frank says
We go inside and Frank sets me on the ground. Frank, Uncle Caleb, and Uncle Spencer go into the kitchen and I go up to my room. I close and lock the door then go sit on the roof.
*Caleb POV*
"Ok why did Lilly run away" I ask
"She's upset" Frank said
"Why" Spencer asks
"She's upset that her and Asher don't get to spend their first Christmas with their daddies." Frank says
"Yeah they're in the hospital" I say
Lilly told me that. Just never why" he says
"Joey got shot trying to save me and my girlfriend then Chad's cancer is getting bad" Spencer says
"Ah I see. I think I have an idea" Frank says
"What" I ask
"Well Linda has to work on Christmas so my whole family is going there for Christmas dinner and bringing the food there so we can eat as a family. I'm sure I can get Linda to let the boys join us and you boys, the kids, and girlfriends can join as well" Frank says
"Really. Thanks" I say
"No problem. Now do you want me to watch Lilly tonight to give her a break from all of this? I'm pretty sure jack and Sean have missed playing Barbies with her and Niki doing her hair. Plus I think she has a small crush on Jamie" he says
"Of course. I'm sure she would like that very much" Spencer says
*Frank POV*
Caleb leads me upstairs to Lilly's room and I go in. I go over to the window and stand there.
"You better not make me crawl out there" I say
Lilly laughs and comes over to me. I help her back into her room and she sits on her bed.
"You want to sleep over" I ask
"Yeah. I miss Jack and Sean" she says
"I thought so. Now let's pack you a bag then we'll head out" I say
She grabs a bag and throws things in it then walks over to me. I pick her up and go downstairs.
"Bye uncle Caleb" Lilly says
"Bye Lillian be good" Caleb says
We go outside and to the car. We get in and it drives back to my office.
"I have to finish up a few things." I tell Lilly
"Ok" she says
We go up to my office and I go to my desk. I start working when there's a knock on my door.
"Come in" I say
I look up and see my three children walk in.
"Hey dad. We ended up getting done at the same time and decided to get Lilly together" Erin says
"Ok Danny and Erin do you think your kids would want to sleepover at my house with Lilly" I ask
"They would love to" Danny says
"Ok well we'll take Lilly so you can finish up your work" Jamie says
"Ok thanks" I say my three kids take Lilly and leave.
I finish up my work then call Linda.
L-hey Frank what do you need
F-Will it be possible for Chad and Joey to join us for Christmas dinner
L-well I'll have to see how Chad is feeling and if Joey is sore but they should be able to
F-ok. Just don't tell them. It's a surprise for them and the their kids
L-ok.
I hang up and gather up my stuff and leave. I get to my house and everyone is there but Linda.
"When is mom going to get here? I'm starving" Sean whines
"She'll be here soon enough. She's just finishing up with a few patients" I say
"Dad! Where's the wine for dinner" Erin yells
"Down in the basement. I forgot to get it out" pops says
"Hello everyone" I hear Linda yell
"In hear babe" Danny says
Linda walks in and the boys run over to her.
"Mom can we eat now" Jack asks
"Ask grandpa" Linda says
"Ask pops" I say
"Alright let's go eat" pops says
"Ok Lilly who's lap tap tonight" Erin asks
"Jamie" Lilly says
"Ok munchkin" Jamie says
We all go to the table and sit down.
"Who would like to say grace" I ask
"Can I do it" Lilly mumbles
"Of course" pops says
"Dear Jesus thank you for this life and food. Please make daddy and uncle Joey all better. Help Asher not to cry through the night and thank you for everyone at the table and at home. Amen" Lilly prays
"Amen" we all echo back
We start passing dishes around and eating.
"Come on Lilly you need to eat more than just three bites" Jamie says
"No. I'm tired" she whimpers
"Here Jamie let me try talking with her" Linda says
*Linda POV*
I get up from my seat and take Lilly from Jamie. I go up to one of the bedrooms and sit on the bed with her on my lap.
"Hey Lilly do you want to tell me what's wrong" I ask
"I don't feel good and daddy isn't here to make me better" she cries
"Is that why you didn't eat? Is you tummy upset" I ask
She nods her head and buries her head into my neck. I rub her back soothingly as she cries.
"Hey Lilly I'm going to take your temperature to see if you have a fever" I say
I feel her nod so I go to the bathroom. I get the thermometer and take her temperature which turns out to be 101 degrees. I go downstairs to the dining room where everyone is eating still and thy look at me. I look at Danny and Jamie and they both excuse themselves. They get up and follow me to the kitchen.
"Is she ok" Danny asks
"She has a fever" I say
We go upstairs and to the bedroom. Jamie goes and kneels down next to the bed.
"Hey Lilly. You okay" he asks
"My tummy hurts and I want daddy" she whines
"Your daddy can't be here at the moment but is there anything we can do to make you better" Danny asks
"Cuddles" she whispers
"Ok. Jamie will cuddle with you and we'll go get you some special juice" I say
She nods and Danny and I go downstairs to the kitchen. He finds a sippy cup and pots some juice in it. I grab medicine and put the amount in with the juice. We shake the cup then go back upstairs. We get up there and Jamie and Lilly are both asleep. Danny sets the juice down and we go downstairs.
"Where's Jamie and Lilly" Erin asks
"Lilly has a fever and wanted Chad. The only way to get her to sleep was for Jamie to lay with her. They both ended up falling asleep" I say
"Ok." Frank says
We finish dinner and hang out a bit until we decide to leave. We get home and go up to bed. I lay down and drift off to sleep.
