KNOCK... KNOCK... KNOCK...

Winter didnt know who that could be. He was sure Kinkajou was at school along with the rest of the winglet and... Moon. Why he still loved her, he did not know, but he always kept his sky fire close just to keep her in his mind.

KNOCK... KNOCK... KNOCK...

"Coming" he said, opening the door quickly, but when he saw who was standing there he let out a laugh of disbelief before she barreled into him sensing them both backwards.

"Moon" he said, unsure if this was real.

"Yes, Winter. Who else do you know that would run away from school to see you?" She replied.

"I dont know, maybe our entire winglet. Moon, you ran away from school. Why?" He said, turning serious.

"I had to, and techniqually I didnt run away because Sunny, Tsunami and Queen Glory all know that I am here. So, I kinda ran away from qibli and the rest of the wingket instead." Moon said, her voice turning into a whisper at the end of the sentence.

"Explain everything to me."

"OK....."

~~Time skip~~

"Wait, so your telling me that he wouldnt let you come see me because he thought you were second guessing yourself and that I'd steal you from him. Did he actually tell you this?" Winter half yelled, half whispered so that his neighbors wouldnt be bothered.

"No, not directly. After the battle he took off his skyfire to show that he could trust me. He said that he would use that to communicate in large crowds, and when I asked him there were only a couple people around so he answered verbally. He said 'Yeah sure. We'll go visit him when we get the time' and then as he walked away he thought 'F*** no. We are not going to see that frozen iceberg. He'd steal her for sure, make sure she doesnt love me and then make her give him heirs'. Those words exactly"

"Moon. He doesnt deserve you if he doesnt trust your decisions."

"Winter. Would you come back to school with me? It would be awesome but if you don't I will write letters all the time."

"What about the sand snorter?"

"I've already decided that im breaking things off. Once I - we get back he will no longer be my boyfriend. Now are you coming back with me?"

"Moon, moon, moon. Of course I will cone back with you, but only if you stay here a day or two." He said as he pulled her into a hug. She mumbled a barely audible "OK" as moon moved until their snouts were against the others and they were kissing. It was only short and afterwords moon just cuddled into his chest.
