Thanks so much for reading A Willing Heart!  I'd always wondered how Thorin's life must have been like after he and his family left Erebor, and the scene of him (in flashback from the The Hobbit: AUJ) working as a smith inspired me to write this story.  

For now, I'm going to mark the story as Complete with the last chapter being The Hunt - Part 2.  With the third installment of The Hobbit coming into theaters this December, it's time to gird our loins for what is to come.  Thorin and company will always live in our hearts - and we will always write about them!

I may still continue the tale of Frigga and Thorin, but for now, their journey through Middle Earth to find a temporary home in Dunland (before going to Moria to battle Azog - per PJ's version) will stop here as I've got other muses vying for my attention - Ashe and Riley in Loving Ashe, Devlin in Every Fifth Living Thing, and Guy of Gisborne in Waiting for Dawn.  

Please check out other wonderful Thorin stories on Wattpad (they are everywhere on the web but I am pretty partial to Wattpad at the moment) such as @CarlyQ's Iron & Oak, and @GratianaLovelace's Thorin tales as well.  I love how many fans of Richard Armitage's interpretation of Thorin has awakened the muse within them, and now they're writing their own stories about Thorin & Company.  

Thank you for all your comments and votes through the months since I posted A Willing Heart.  You guys have allowed me to take what was an obscure part of Thorin's life - one that wasn't explored extensively - and put my own spin on it with you as my co-conspirators (you know who you are!).  Thorin was a wonderful though often uncooperative muse - but I loved every minute of writing Frigga and his story.
