"How kind of you two to join me." Zeref said with his back turned to the Dragneel siblings. The two had stood behind him a couple feet quietly since they got there, deciding what they should do.

"We're here to destroy you and take back Fairy Tail!" Natsu stated

"Our fate that lies with you will be burnt to ashes." (Y/N) said

"Burn your fate? What an interesting thought," Zeref said as he turnt around and threw his robe on the floor "Unlike you two I'm a human that's accepted his cursed fate. Do you two know why?"

Neither of the twins answered as they looked at each other

"It's because I had no other choice, that's why it's called fate."

"GET HIM!" Natsu shouted, lunging towards Zeref to punch him. (Y/N) followed, jumping in the air to land a kick on Zeref. The black wizard smirked as he grabbed Natsu's fist and (Y/N)'s foot with an inhuman amount of strength.

'What the hell?! He's too strong!' Natsu thought as he felt Zeref's grip get tighter on his fist. He kicked Natsu back before grabbing
(Y/N)'s leg over his shoulder and hurled her up into the ceiling of the guild. (Y/N) hit the top before falling back down onto the ground.

"Don't you realize I'm superior to your power? Even when it's two of you against me you still won't win." Zeref said

"Shut up bastard! Fire dragon iron fist!" Natsu sprinted towards Zeref, about to land a punch.(Y/N) got up, feeling instant pain and followed her older brother

"After you two died from that dragon attack, you have no idea how much I suffered. What I went through just to bring you two back," Zeref said as he blocked Natsu's attack, punched him in the face and kicked him back into the wall. "How could you two leave me like that? All I wanted was to see my younger siblings grow up. And here you are now. All grown up."

(Y/N) ignored what he said "Fire dragon roar!"

"(Y/N) don't you have a boyfriend. Sting's his name right?" Zeref more like stated than asked

(Y/N) didn't answer and plainly stared at him

"By now he's most likely dead, he and Rogue have no chance against Lacarde." Zeref said

"Sting is very much alive! I know he is, he wouldn't go out by someone like him!" (Y/N) said, raising her bruised fists, engulfing them with bright red fire

"(Y/N) stop he's just trying to make you mad!" Natsu said

"And you, Natsu I do know for certain your girlfriend is that Lucy girl. Very beautiful she is indeed," Zeref chuckled darkly "I wonder what expressions she would make if I killed her very slowly and painfu-"

"DONT SPEAK ABOUT LUCE LIKE THAT!" Natsu immediately went at Zeref, using a secret arts attack

'Now what was that about getting angry?'
(Y/N) thought, sprinting after him as fast as she could

"STOP!!!!" Mavis jumped between the three

"Mavis?!" Zeref immediately stopped charging forward. However, Natsu didn't. He jumped over Mavis and punched Zeref in the face, blasting him to the other side of the guild.

"First master!" (Y/N) said

"Don't hurt Zeref! Please!" Mavis cried

"What? Are you kidding?!" Natsu said "That man killed Makarov! His demons hurt my friends! And I... I don't even know if I'm human or not! Don't tell me I shouldn't hurt him!!!" Natsu shouted

"Natsu I understand but he's hurting too! He's been alive for over four hundred years suffering! I love him so don't put your hands on him...!" Mavis said, running towards Zeref

"First master don't go near him!" (Y/N) shouted, going after her

"I know Zeref. I know how to end your suffering. I know how I can kill you." Mavis said, leaning down and putting her hands over Zeref's

"Mavis please. How?" Zeref asked

(Y/N) stopped in her tracks and stared at the two. Natsu stood beside her with his hand on her shoulder.

"Zeref the reason why the curse killed me and not you was because at the time, I wasn't sure if I loved you or not. But you loved me. When you kissed me I died because the curse wouldn't have worked unless I had affection for you too. But now I know, I love you Zeref! I want our suffering to end." Mavis said, pulling in Zeref for a kiss. They separated and before they knew it, they were disappearing.

"It's finally happening.. I can get some rest." Zeref said, holding hands with Mavis

"I love you Zeref." Mavis stated

"I love you too, Mavis." Zeref replied

Before the Dragneel twins knew it, their older brother was gone along with their first master.

"What a happy ending!" Natsu said

"Natsu!" (Y/N) shouted

Natsu turned to her and she was disappearing as well. Natsu felt his heart sink.

"(Y/N) NO!" Natsu shouted, attempting to wrap his arms around her but he had only just went through her body. Before Natsu knew it, his hand stared disappearing as well.

'Without Zeref his books are being destroyed. That means we're ceasing to exist!!' (Y/N) thought as she attempted once more to hold her brother in her arms
