Alrighty then, it's been a few days(edit, I started this about 4 days after the episode aired, but then had to go bed and forgot to come back to it for a couple days)(edit again, so it's slightly later than a few days lmao. The longer I take to post this the funnier my previous statements are lol)(edit again oh my god it's fucking December Jesus Christ I wonder if this will even get out before next year lmao).

Ok, to understand where I'm truly coming from with this episode, and my opinion of it, first please watch this, it's very important to have this fresh in your mind, you see a lot of people missed this second sneak peek that revealed some of the darker secrets of the episode, but luckily I was one of the few people who saw it

So yeah, this is basically gonna be a mix of what my thoughts were when I first saw it, and my thoughts now
Also, just a quick heads up, I took screenshots, and had captions on (cause I'm too lazy to write quotes myself and plus it gives you a good sense of when I'm talking about to have the visuals along with the quotes), but because sometimes quotes go through several shots (and also sometimes there are multiple faces I wanna talk about that happen really close together), there are a lot of screenshots, which means that I go over the 20 photo limit many times, so there are 17 parts, so sorry if I clog up your notifications)

Ok, first of all, I just gotta say, I love the use of black and white in this scene, and the cracks which are both literal from the egg, but also metaphorical for their friendship and for how everything is changing. I just absolutely love it.

I was a little confused when I first saw this, because I didn't think we'd see Fan, or any of the other eliminated contestants again, at least till next episode(but more likely not until the finale), so I thought it was Test Tubes dream, which is why I thought it was weird how she's almost presented as the villain in this part, and why I was confused as to why the cracking egg was around Fan and not her. Obviously though, I was wrong, which I'm pretty happy about. I'm actually really glad we got to see/hear a couple of them, even if Fan was the only one we saw properly throughout the whole episode(which is great anyway, because he is one of my favourite characters)

I mean, I guess I should have guessed that Fan would be a big part of this episode. He's literally on the thumbnail, that should have been my first hint. Guess I'm a moron lmao

BAXTER!
I wasn't expecting to see any of the eliminated contestants, so I certainly wasn't expecting to see him. This episode has already surprised me in several good ways, and we're not even 30 seconds in. I guess I should take this as a sign that this episode is nothing but pure and wholesome and happy, and I won't come out of it an emotional wreck. Let's just ignore when everyone on the team were constantly saying we weren't ready, this is fine so far. God I'm so happy right now, it would be such a shame if something were to happen later on in the episode that I completely will not expect and that will break me and my heart(and Tuby into millions of tiny shards of glass).

But what are the chances of that happening, I mean it's inanimate insanity we're talking about here, it's such a fun, lighthearted, happy show 24/7, it's not like they've already ripped my heart out several times in the past, including at least once every episode for the past 3. I'm sure I will come out of this one perfectly fine and happy:)

I love their sleeping hat and eye mask, this has definitely ended up on the to draw list (idk when I'll get around to it but it's happening)

Also it's nice to see the 2 of them sharing the room because they're friends
I mean, we already knew this from last episode, where we saw Baxter and the photo of Painty, Marsh, and Bulby in the background of Fans room at the end, and it got confirmed by the crew, but still, we didn't actually see them together then, but this time we do, which is just nice
And it's nice to see Painty in general, especially since the last time we saw them was their elimination. I know that this episode, though, won't have a super sad elimination, especially not one that mirrors that one, I mean why on earth would they make yet another elimination that makes me cry, they wouldn't do that to us again

Ok so I guess we kinda knew that technically the eliminated contestants could hang out with the players as long as they're within the show parameters, but I never really thought about it, but now that Fans gonna just up and see them, he's put the idea of visiting in Paintys (and possibly Tubys cause she saw him) head, so it's very likely that we're gonna see them next episode I think. I mean, I guessed anyway that we would probably see everyone again next episode possibly, or at the very least we'll almost definitely see them in the finale(fine, ok, I know technically it's not definite that we're seeing everyone in the finale, but I think we should. I'm gonna be very surprised if this show ends without us at the very least seeing everyone at some point or another at least one last time, but I really wanna properly hear from them all again. Not just in shorts and the comics and stuff, but everyone properly in the show just talking at some point), but still I really like that they're bringing up the opportunities for seeing everyone again soon, which I, for one, am all for

Ok why is Fan such a big mood though

Honestly he's probably the most relatable character in the show, for me at least, which is probably the main reason why I love him so much

Also his face in that last one, he's so happy and excited to see Egg (and probably Test Tube, though she was very cold towards him when he last saw her, so maybe not so much), which I just find so pure. Like, he doesn't even acknowledge the fact that he's just broken things, he's gonna go see them and no one and nothing can stop him

Ooo yay the sneak peek
I was gonna talk about that at the time, but y'know, procrastination. Then we heard that the trailer was coming, so I was gonna do a prediction thing based off the sneak peek, the audio sneak peek, and the trailer, but I just flat out had no clue where the episode was going after I saw that(to be fair, there was no way I was ever gonna be able to predict THIS), which is the other reason why that never happened

Also, I love Taco making a pun and being all happy and comfortable around Mic. This part between them is so wholesome I love it, can we just please have my two girls just happy joking and laughing with each other forever please I love them they're so pure

Aww my girls are so cute together it's so sweet. And plus we know for a fact now that Taco doesn't drop Mic, which also shows how far she's come since last season. They're so happy and comfortable around each other it's so sweet, it would be such a shame if something were to ruin this bond of theirs later this episode

Ok I'm just gonna come right out and say it, Mephone thought that Toilet was Cobbs' spy, but I think that Mepad is the spy(if there even is a spy). I don't think he knows this, because he's genuinely such a good guy and is loyal to his friends, so he definitely wouldn't do anything like that on purpose, but I do think he's a spy for Cobbs, which would be quite an interesting route to go down. Now though, thanks to Taco, he's lost his (possible) spy, so that's good hopefully(although less good for Taco (assuming that she doesn't get along with Cobbs or something, which I like to think, cause Cobbs is the main villain, so if he and Taco don't get along and something happens with him which forces her and the others to work together to take him down or something, idk possible idea for a redemption there))

Ok though, what I find interesting here is the fact that Mephone is glitching but Mepad isn't.
On Justin's tumblr someone asked him a couple days before the episode came out about this, and he simply replied saying "🤔 I like receiving questions and reading them! :)", which kinda implies that the fact that only Mephone is glitching might be important.
On his Twitter someone asked him the same thing and he said "maybe he had earplugs in", which I definitely think is a joke, and that this is gonna be a plot point later. But I'll come back to this later when I do my theories and predictions, I just wanna put it out there that this is very suspicious
